Excellent HRIS for Canadian SMEs

Vorteile:

Their product itself works great. If we do have any issues, the Humi support team is incredibly quick and responsive, providing us with the answers that we need. I have zero hesitation recommending Humi to any HR team looking for an intuitive HRIS.

Nachteile:

The mobile app isnt the best. This is by no means a showstopper

Happy with Humi

Kommentare: Implementation was a breeze, It is allot easier to use and pull reports then my last software was. My experience has overall been good.

Vorteile:

I like the platform and how easy it was to learn and use. I like the reporting it is robust and i can customize for my own needs. Onboarding and storing documents in Humi is extremely easy.

Nachteile:

They need better support for a paid service i would expect a chat or call center during regular business hours. This is payroll and its very time sensitive so if an issue arises support isn't always there to help.

It's getting there, good but room for improvement

Kommentare: Íts a great little platform, the staff are very approachable and hard working, but you do always have to keep one eye on it re: bugs or employee updates.

Vorteile:

Ease of use for staff, clean simple layout

Nachteile:

There are just very small but essential developments needed within many of the features. It takes a long time to see them updated/implemented sometimes. For instance, work schedules - the current feature really doesnt work for employees with rotating schedules'. Synchronization is also desperately needed for your MS Teams status when you have leave approved.

Vorteile:

I like the ease of use, and the straight-forward navigation. I also appreciate how cost-effective it is for smaller businesses.

Nachteile:

There are a few limitations regarding vacation accrual and how that ties into payroll, as well as building-out a robust performance management cycle that mirrors our own.

What a breath of fresh air!

Vorteile:

Far more to offer than our previous payroll service and only a fraction more. Great value for money!

Nachteile:

No phone support. All online or email. Would be better if phone support was available.

We Love Humi

Kommentare: Overall experience has been a very positive and great partnership. This is or first HRIS and so far the implementation has been smooth.

Vorteile:

Humi is very user friendly for users and admin. The implementation and customer success team are fantastic to work with and very responsive.

Nachteile:

Sometimes needed a little more time after initial trainings to fully understand some things.

None, their always improving. Humi asks for feed back and works with their clients

Humi is my go-to payroll software for a small company

Kommentare: The Humi team is always available for customer support, and has been for the 4+ years I've been a customer.

Vorteile:

The best part about Humi is automating payroll processing, calculating all the correct taxes and deductions, and remitting to the government on your behalf. It takes three clicks to process payroll each week, saving me hours a year.

Nachteile:

There isn't anything I honestly dislike about the platform.

Easy-to-use All in One Human Resources Management on the Cloud

Kommentare: Overall a great 'starter' HR package for small to medium-sized companies.Very relevant for Canadian corporations.HR is one area that has been left unattended and without cloud-based tech solutions. Humi bridges the gap.Very good price pointEasy and quick to implement

Vorteile:

- Very good price/performance ratio- One of the best HR platform especially for Canadian companies- Great for small to medium-sized companies - Very quick and easy implementation- Easy to administer- Modern look and feel- Seamless User experience- Vacation tracking and Team calendars

Nachteile:

- In some cases, the workflows needed resetting during the implementation- Vacation balance and tracking can be tricky to setup and maintain- Lacks security of more expensive/comprehensive solutions- Difficulty in formatting and setting up reports

Good HRIS System to use

Vorteile:

Customer service is good and the platform itself is very straightforward and user friendly.

Nachteile:

The company is still growing and there is a lot more features and functions that it will eventually add, but as of now, there are other HRIS systems that will have better features and won't cost much more, or will cost less. It comes down to the needs of your organization.

What I love and wish for from Humi

Vorteile:

Love the vacation tracking and calculations. This saves me time on when employee reach out to ask how much vacation they used or have remaining. Being able to share documents and make company announcements.

Nachteile:

Not a fan that payroll run cannot be scheduled. When employee is on vacation the payroll does not automatically calculate the vacation pay.

Very User Friendly!

Kommentare: Very smooth, customer service is friendly, be sure to use the message feature in Humi though, do not call their phone number. Overall very satisfied with the platform.

Vorteile:

I love how easy it is to maneuver, as an admin or employee. The onboarding features are very useful and practical, employee overviews are very clear.

Nachteile:

Some bugs regarding calculating/prorating time off. Cannot export performance reviews into an external document.

All in one HR software

Kommentare: Benefits from having an all in one place software.

Vorteile:

Humi is intuitive all in one software that allows customization tailored to your business needs. Provides a variety of key components such as time off requests by the employee, employee tracking, recruiting, uploading and signing documents for on-boarding along with various helpful tasks that can be assigned.

Nachteile:

Some of the settings required to adjustments and trial and error.

Vorteile:

Humi is a simple platform that all users on all levels can use! Staff love the app feature in order to clock in and out for shifts. Helps control payroll costs for the business!

Nachteile:

Not able to integrate with all POS platforms

not intuitive or flexible for staff who jump roles and hours of work-can be hard to pivot time off policies for employees.

Attentive Customer Support and Easy to Use

Kommentare: Great decision to make the switch to Humi!

Vorteile:

I like great customer support and Humi checks the box! Anytime I have had a question or needed assistance I have had prompt responses that were helpful and always kind.

Nachteile:

My least favourite part is that I didn't know to have off-boarding employees change their email address in order to get T4s as once they are terminated they have zero access to paystubs and ROE. I've run into that issue a few times. It would be great if terminated employees could still log on to view their payroll for 12 months or for 30 days after T4s are submitted the following year.

Humi - good value for product

Kommentare: Positive experience after using the software for 1.5 years. Some early challenges in the first few months but after that very easy to use.

Vorteile:

Easy to use, employees like the interface.

Nachteile:

Some functionality on the payroll side is awkward and not easily adjustable without having to go through the Help Desk to do back end changes. The help desk is not easy to access all the time as you have to send an email and wait for them to respond. Humi does not directly submit T4's to CRA. Have to use ROE Web to access your ROE's.

Canadian software

Kommentare: We are not yet using Humi to its full potential. I'm not 100% confident with recruitment, and we haven't used it for perfomance management yet.

Vorteile:

I like the fact that this software is Canadian and I don't have to wade through US forms etc. The support team is thorough, patient, and usually gets back to me within 24 hours. It is relatively easy to use, and the person who trained me was definitely a necessary service.

Nachteile:

There are aspects of the software that are not intuitive, which sends me to support for help, but they are relatively quick to get back to me and explain the situation. I've sent several suggestions to improve use, but can't remember what they are at the moment.

Still too much manual work required

Kommentare: It was OK for a short time, we had hopes that investments were being made into the product but nothing has changed over the last year and a half that adds enough value for us to continue using it. Will be switching to a new platform in the new year – probably bamboo.

Vorteile:

It has some good basic features and pricing was better than other options, unfortunately for a scaling business we need something more robust.

Nachteile:

The reporting dashboard and performance management are the weakest modules, we need to export information in order to pull any meaningful insights. Customer support also not a highlight.

Closest thing to an assistant!

Kommentare: Overall very user friendly as a platform, helpful for staff to navigate by themselves and easy reporting /custom reporting. Support teams are always helpful and kind!

Vorteile:

Having multiple products in one place makes it convenient to comply with regulations and get staff set up for success

Nachteile:

Some of the areas that fall in between categories (ex: payroll & benefits; deductions from payroll re: benefits contribution) can be difficult to figure out as the payroll support and benefits support are different people and neither may have the answers you are looking for

Nachteile:

There are always functionalities that I would wish for in any product. i am hoping that stat holiday pay functionality is added soon

Easy to use and good value

Vorteile:

Very easy to use software, customer service is fairly responsive. Drastically cheaper than some other solutions on the market.

Nachteile:

Software is difficult (if not impossible) to customize. Also there is no way to integrate Humi payroll with my expense management and accounting software which would be nice.

-I thought it had more HR information for our users, we still had to get all our company documentation.-The phone app is missing half the options

Super intuitive and helpful

Kommentare: Overall, Humi was great at ensuring our teams were able to easily keep track of things like vacation time and other company updates. It's ease of use makes it a very attractive software product.

Vorteile:

Humi is extremely easy to use. It helps our teams stayed organized and up-to-date. Compared to similar softwares, Humi has been the most intuitive.

Nachteile:

The only downside to Humi was that it didn't directly connect with our benefits provider -- being able to connect directly with our benefits provider would make it much more convenient.

Like picking up an iPhone - you just know how to use it
