Auto discovery of all of my networking equipment. I had dashboards up and displaying information in record time.
Nachteile:
Had some issues with stuff that was not in documentation. Had to reach out online on forums to get assistance from fellow admins

Very good overall monitoring solution for any kind of SNMP-able network device. Fast and simple to setup and get going. The user interface is easy to understand and presents just the right amount of information without getting messy.
Nachteile:
Not yet very good support for custom graphs and polling of devices that is not supported out of the box.

versatility is the strongest feat of this software. It can do a lot, with a lot of equipment, and does it good.
Nachteile:
Scalability. The solution is scalable, up to a point. Right now, with 75000+ ports and 1200+ devices, the hardware is barely managing it's 5 minutes poll cycles.

We use this for network management. It helps us infer route conflicts and power consumption. It is a great tool to visualize distributed network.
Nachteile:
More customization for dashboards would be really good to have. Some more documentation would help with the learning curve for beginners.

Kommentare: Some in-depth network discovery is available. Getting that information out of the tool is difficult though.
Vorteile:
I liked the level of detail that this would collect. In the hands of the right person that decipher some of this information, this can provide a lot of value.
Nachteile:
Reporting on the findings and exporting the details was cumbersome to say the least. It was very difficult to export the data. This was crucial for us. We want to be able to take some of this information and quickly analzye it and compare it to other data sets.
