AWESOME SOFTWARE!

Kommentare: It is pretty expensive and I do not like how inflexible the contracts are. But I do really like the software overall. If you added some of those tweaks I mentioned above it would be ABSOLUTLY AWESOME! Right now its just pretty great and I do think it is better than the competition especially better than Service autopilot which is where we came from.

Vorteile:

It actually works. It loads quickly. There are good workflows that allow for structure.

Nachteile:

I wish you could make more Required fields on opportunities so we don't have opportunities without a source for example. I also really really wish there was a way to have the "metrics" show a graph of say sales per week with data points each week for the last say 6 weeks so that you can see the trends of the business rather than just the hard "last week" data. I also wish then it allowed you to put two trends on top or next to eachother so you could see sales per month this year vs last year. Then if there could be two seperate pages of metrics that would be really cool too so its not just limited to the one screen.

Aspire Review- Unsatisfied

Kommentare: After over a year of using the software and experiencing the same problems over and over we finally told aspire that we could not use their software anymore as it was causing our operations to have too many problems. Well according to aspire we had a 3 year contract and aspire is now suing our company for the remainder of the contract. I find this quite unethical considering all of the problems we faced and their software purely not working due to their servers being too overloaded. In conclusion, I highly do not recommend aspire. If you are going to use aspire the only way I can see you getting by with it is if you only do maintenance and offer no other services. If you do design build, then I could go on and on as to why aspire is not suited for design build companies.

Vorteile:

Aspire's functionality that was presented from the salesman looked like it could definitely help our company. All of the integration, labor tracking, earned income, inventory tracking, etc. really looked great. Unfortunately once we got into implementation we soon realized there was a bit of a bait and switch going on. When we asked the implementation team how to set up certain features they told us, “well that is complicated and you can worry about that after you get through implementation.” At the time I said okay. Well after we got through implementation we then found out, with no prior knowledge, that further training would cost $750 to buy 4 hours of training. I found $187 per hour for a software tech to teach their own software to be a bit outrageous, especially considering the initial salesman said support was included in the roughly 50k per year price. At this point I was dismayed that even after choosing the most expensive software on the market, our firm would now need to spend another 20-30k a year on further training our employees.

Nachteile:

I found a few major cons of Aspire. First, the purpose of software is to provide ease of use to the user and be somewhat intuitive in its navigation, because at the end of the day Aspire is just an excel program that is developed to look pretty and “try” to be functional. Well Aspire definitely missed the mark on this end. I have used many other softwares that did great on ease of use and accessibility, but the developers of the software definitely did not have the end user in mind. I found navigating and learning aspire to be very cumbersome. There was no intuitiveness about the navigation of the software and I would recommend Aspire go back to the drawing board to fix this issue. The second issue I found with aspire was it seemed that they did not have both the man power and processing power to handle their load. Countless times when my team and I would log in to aspire we would get error messages. When reaching out to aspire about this issue they informed us that their servers are overloaded in the morning due to high activity. Well as you can imagine, not being able to access our CRM during the morning time for a landscape company caused our operations problems... Third and possibly the biggest issue with the software was the support. As I mentioned, Aspire was not intuitive at all and learning how to navigate it was very cumbersome. So when we reached out to support, we would have to submit a ticket and wait a few hours for a tech to get back to us. This process consisted of multiple back and forth emails spanning throughout the day, they would then recommend to schedule a zoom call a few days later. Well for many of our employees this caused much headache, as needing one simple answer took days to resolve and in the meantime our operation is suffering by not having the support we need to operate the very costly software we are paying for. In fact the sole purpose of using the software in the first place is to make our operation run smoother. Our employees who, “asked for support too many times”, were also then directed to paid support I mentioned above, costing $187 per hour. Which I found to be ridiculous especially considering that my interactions with support many times left them stumped, communicating to me that they were not sure how to answer or resolve my question and they would have to get their higher up for help… This resulted in multiple days in delay and in some cases just no answer at all…

Kommentare: As an estimator, I have used a few different programs to help with bidding. Aspire makes thing so much easier and efficient. It also works with PropertyIntel. As an estimator, this feature if extremely time saving and beneficial to my bidding process.

The efficiency! I am an estimator and it make the process so efficient, saving my a lot of time.

Nachteile:

Nothing really. The learning curve is a trial but it all pays off in the end.

Kommentare: It's been great. All the individuals that we have dealt with from implementation to our CSM have been very good at helping us whenever needed.

Being a "one stop shop" for our business. It can handle your CSM, down to your scheduling.

I wish the scheduling of recurring services was designed a bit different.

Love Aspire!

Kommentare: My experience with Aspire has been amazing! While we don't have a dedicated CSM, Aspires Customer Care and Knowledge base have been very helpful.

Vorteile:

I like the ability it has to customize just about everything to our needs.

Nachteile:

Noting and pictures. Our jobs can be weeks long and we take tons of pictures throughout the process as well as documenting the process. It would be nice to have a Notes feature on the opportunity level that is accessible to everyone that we can share information and view pictures.

Aspire is a great software for Landscaping

Vorteile:

The proposals that we are able to create along with the data needed to ensure proper pricing of jobs.

Nachteile:

The inability to delete invoices from system easily or proposals not being used.

Kommentare: Positive and continually improving. We are now 95% paper free and have eliminated a large percentage of manual tasks (recurring scheduling, invoice assistant, employee time tracking, route management, customer relationship management etc etc.)

Vorteile:

We made the transition from LMN to Aspire a year ago. The ticket management system allows us to seamlessly schedule and make quick operational changes from the start of an estimate to the receivable balance. There is less room for error in each department and a system that keeps our billing on track.

Nachteile:

Initial implementation - It took a lot of time to set up and train employees to use (customizing to our operations vs. Aspire implementation/help with setup) The cost was an investment and commitment.

Kommentare: We are happy we made the change. The pros have defiantly out wayed the cons. It is just a beast of a program and a lot to learn. We still need a lot of training.

Vorteile:

Nachteile:

CRM! It is horrible to write general notes! It took us a long time to receive a CSM.....I expected the customer service to above and beyond and it felt like we were rushed to graduate and then we had to bag for a CSM.

Ignite User Conference

Kommentare: Overall, we were very pleased with the conference, great job by everyone who put in the monumental effort to pull it off! We'll be attending the next one.

Vorteile:

Interaction with other Aspire Users and the variety of breakout sessions and workshops. We're a new user and still learning a lot about the product, but very pleased with what we learned about where the product is going and different ways we our company ca benefit from it.

Nachteile:

I would point out three negative comments about the conference, to try and improve it for next time: Power point has it's purpose, but there was not enough hands-on/live demo of the product in the breakout sessions. We would suggest that at the next conference, there are areas set up, similar to the sponsor booths, where we can interact in person at our leisure with Aspire personnel. It's not practical to try and squeeze in line with other attendees for five or ten minutes at the end of a break-out sessions and overload the presenters (who were always available and gracious with their time) discussing our individual company applications or questions. We were most disappointed by the lack of ability to spend some quality live/in person time with Aspire personnel (while looking at a live system if necessary) and get away from email and zoom calls. In addition to meeting other users, this was the main reason we attended the conference, and feel we missed out on that personal interaction entirely. Having vendors/sponsors presenting in the general sessions was a turn off, because their products do not have relevance to all attendees. It would be preferrable to leave them to their booths and individual break out sessions.

Kommentare: It has been a great experience; we have had some hiccups along the way. But after attending Ignite conference it really opened our eyes to how much potential this software has and what it truly is capable of.

Vorteile:

I love that it puts all of our customers into one database and allowed for us to be able to see real time data on performance of jobs. It has been such a great switch for our company and helped our company start to be able to realize things that we need to change in order to be more profitable across the board.

Nachteile:

I would say that the ease of learning how to do things in Aspire there is a little bit of a learning curve. I do know we have a lot of employees that are not necessarily tech savvy, and they have had a hard time catching on how to utilize the software.

Kommentare: The customer service and assistance that you receive from the team at Aspire is the best feature of the software. We receive responses immediately to questions, layouts, and general assistance. Aspire also offers additional live training classes with Q&A sessions weekly that you can attend, making this software worth the investment.

Vorteile:

After using the software for approximately 6 months, our entire team began to see all the time-saving benefits of using Aspire as well as the benefits of "real-time" accounting and job profits.

Nachteile:

For us, the transition to Aspire was difficult because we switched from Sage to QB and changed our payroll carrier at the same time we moved to Aspire. This was a mistake on our part because there was too much to implement in a short period of time. The training period for Aspire is set, and there is little room for accommodations for extending the time period if needed. Once you commit to using Aspire, you need to be aware that you have to make learning the system a priority within the timetable that is set.

I enjoy gaining the information as it happens. Being able to know where the crews are and what their availability is, is crucial for scheduling.

ASPIRE ... a MUST for SUCCESS

Kommentare: Our experience with Aspire has been simply amazing and the proof of its value to us is the success we experience every day and year we operate. We're proud to be among the early pioneers of Aspire and continue today utilizing its amazing technology and power to operate our highly successful landscape/winter service business.

Vorteile:

The dependability. The platform on which it is built is obviously rock solid. We've been on Aspire for over (10) years with little to zero down time. The updates and refreshing that occurs periodically are always seamless and non-disruptive.

Nachteile:

I can honestly say that nothing comes to mind about not liking something about Aspire. Maybe in the early years (2013-2014) after it was first released. We were among the early pioneer users, and it was somewhat cumbersome and frustrating at times, which should be expected, however, the Aspire Team worked collectively and diligently with us and many other users swiftly to correct and improve issues along the way.

Great System, Great People

Kommentare: I have been a user for about a year now, and the experience is really what you make of it. The tools are all there, but it is up to you to maximize the utility of the system. Whether that be creating reports, dials, or other metrics.

Vorteile:

Aspire gives you nearly every tool you would need. The support behind the system is great. I have never had to wait more than 24 hours to have a ticket worked on. Everyone I have spoken to from Aspire has been very friendly and helpful.

Nachteile:

I do not have any complaints about Aspire at this time. I am very pleased with the capabilities.

Great at first

Kommentare: I really enjoyed it as a user and was extremely frustrated as an admin.

It was a great tool for landscape maintenance and really easy to build reports.

Nachteile:

The roadmap was completely unrealistic and everything important was left on the back burner while insignificant stuff was addressed.

Aspire just works

Kommentare: We used CLIP for 15 years, LMN for 5 years and now Aspire. Aspire costs more but you also get a lot more.

Vorteile:

Accuracy of estimating. Speed with which estimates can be generated using templates, the equipment module syncing with gps and alerting for all of the maintenance. I also wish you could generate an efficiency score for each employee rather than only for the crew leader.

Nachteile:

Not being able so see notes on the equipment serviced report. You can see the notes on the equipment needing serviced report but for some reason not on the report of the equipment that has been serviced.

Kommentare: Overall its very good and would recommend to anyone. Our CSM is great and has been a guiding light for the last year or so. [sensitive content hidden] has been great for us and has really kept us in and not completely losing our faith in aspire. We see light at the end of the tunnel with the transition to earn rev and everything else is good. In the end you get out of the system what you put in, so we have a lot of ownership.

Vorteile:

I like that it has a very robust base to what you can do and how you can do it. I think aspire has done it's best to create a system that can be be used by many companies. WE are all in landscaping but we realy run things differently and want a system that allows us to do it "our way"

Nachteile:

-The issue base system is gutting better, but at one time that was a con for me. -The speed in that knew issues are resoled.- we recently moved from inv to earn rev. That was a big problem for us and i dont believe that aspire had a good way or a thought out process to get us trained and move us to earn rev.-Need a more CRM sales base function to aspire. I know its coming but not fast enough. -

Kommentare: Overall, I have really enjoyed the support that Aspire gives.

Vorteile:

I like how structured the program is. You can't have anything slip through the cracks if you follow the clean out instructions.

Nachteile:

I feel that they could work on making the app out in the field easier for the crews. I am excited to see what the new will work.

Aspire is AWESOME!

Kommentare: I love Aspire. I have used many programs when it comes to landscape world and Aspire is by far the best I have used.

Vorteile:

It is very user friendly and easy to learn.

Nachteile:

It does have a lot of system outages, they have been getting better though.
