Best in class - WireWax

Vorteile:
The customization aspect and the tools within the studio. You can really use these tools to create a great interactive product that is engaging and impactful to the end user quickly and efficiently.
Nachteile:
Honestly, there really isn't anything off the top of my head that is a con.... that how great the platform as well as the employees of WireWax have been.

Overall great value
Kommentare: Overall I like Wirewax. It's allowing us to create something new and become one of the first companies to offer interactive videos.
Vorteile:
It's more advanced in function than all other interactive video platforms that I have used. It's innovative
Nachteile:
The platform can definitely be improved. Sometimes I run into bugs. Also it would be nice to be able to undo actions easily and brows the history of actions. It would be great to have multiple version autosave so I can restore the video if needed. The functions can definitely be improved and simplified. The processing time is long. If that can be speed up somehow, it would be nice.

Kommentare: We have been able to take our How-To videos to the next level. Still very excited with the product after all this time, and are constantly looking for ways to incorporate more interactivity into our work- which WIREWAX makes possible.
Vorteile:
The platform is entirely innovative, and allows for a lot more flexibility, interactivity and creativity within our streaming videos. Also, their customer service and tech teams are top notch. Anytime we have any type of problem, they are there right away to help solve.
Nachteile:
The functionality gets better and better all the time, but it doesn't have quite the mobile functionality/ease of use as the big video social media platforms that it has to compete with in our world (short form entertainment). I would argue that their desktop performance is equivalent or better in some cases than those platforms.

One-of-a-kind market leading tool, can be changable
Kommentare: We've been using WireWax for over four years now and it's really grown in terms of capabilities and versatility. While there are bugs and issues, they've clearly put a lot of investment into their customer support and setting up to quickly respond and resolve issues where possible, so it's reassuring when things don't act like they should that you can get someone looking to resolve it as quickly as possible. Overall, it allows you to make unique and really visually impressive/engaging content and I haven't seen an equivalent yet with quite so much flexibility and freedom.
Vorteile:
WIREWAX is easy to use in order to make great looking content, and as a video editor it's amazing to be able to take valuable interview footage that would otherwise hit the cutting room floor due to being too long or too specific and be able to embed it as sneak peeks/behind the scenes moments at the heart of the video. It's great to be able to embed call-to-actions, extra information and more, not to mention creating choose your own path experiences that mean users can choose the info that's most relevant to them.
Nachteile:
One of the issues of being on the cutting-edge is that how you leave an interactive video isn't always how you find it. There have been times where due to updates, you come back to a live published video and find it's no longer behaving like you expected in terms of hotspot behaviour or overlay text formatting, which can be embarrassing. Another issue is that interactive video performance is driven by the power of the user's PC/browser - this means that you may be showing it to someone and they have consistent bugs or issues that aren't visible from your computer, which takes a lot of time and effort as an editor to fix. Slowly through partnerships and working with platforms such as Twitter and Facebook more compatibility is becoming available to use it directly on those platforms without a workaround - this has been an area of difficulty previously.
