Easy to Use, worth every penny

Kommentare: I have used Doxy for 4 years. I checked out a number of competing platforms, all of which had more cons than pros. Doxy keeps it simple for me and more importantly, for my clients.

Vorteile:

This is the simplest, most user-friendly telehealth platform I have ever used, including the one within the EMR system I use. Also, it's easy to add multiple participants, so it works great for meetings as well as therapy sessions.

Nachteile:

The security measures make the connection a little fussy i.e. if your camera has been used on another platform and that software is not closed, Doxy will not allow a video connection. I just have to be careful and prepared to troubleshoot with clients.

Doxey.me for psychiatric sessions.

Kommentare: It is very useful for patients who have moved away and cannot easily get back to this city for a session. It also is very beneficial if I happen to be gone on a trip etc.

Vorteile:

It was fairly easy to integrate. The quality of the audio and video seems to be improving over time. It is very convenient to use if patients live far away from my office and is usable if I happen to be away from my office on a trip etc.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the audio and video are difficult to use or might be of poor quality. As above, that does seem to be improving as bandwidth etc. improves.

User for over 1 year

Kommentare: Great, very little issues, occasional disconnect but not sure if it's on the clients end or not.

Vorteile:

Secure, easy to use, good connectively, no complaints from clients.

Nachteile:

Please add "touch up my appearance" to the video settings. It blurs out a lot of the wrinkles, pock marks, signs of aging, and sun damage! :)

The Ease of Use

Kommentare: I have had a positive experience with Doxy.me, and my satisfaction increases with each new feature added.

Vorteile:

Doxy.me offers user-friendly features for both clinicians and clients. Clients can join online appointments quickly without downloading. The client clicks one of the specialized link provided by the clinician, enter their details, and waits for the clinician to join. This online experience mirrors waiting in a physical office; however, it is done from the comfort of staying at home. Clients who were initially hesitant about online technology found it easy and convenient, expressing surprise at its simplicity and overall positive experience.

Nachteile:

The main drawback is that sometimes I have to ask the client to log out and then log back in if the audio or camera is not functioning. However, these functions usually work fine once the client logs back into Doxy.me.

HIPAA compliant and easy to use

Vorteile:

I like that Doxy is fully HIPAA compliant. That really drove my decision to purchase. I also like that I can count on my hand how many times in 4 years I have had a technical issue with Doxy, and on those times it was really easy to get tech support.

Nachteile:

I can't say that there's anything I don't like about Doxy. It just takes a while to play with all the functions before you learn the full capacity of it (e.g., the white board, screen sharing functions), but I wouldn't call that a bad thing.

Reliable virtual platform

Kommentare: I have enjoyed using this platform and it has been quite reliable.

Vorteile:

I like that it is HIPPA compliant, easy to navigate, user friendly, and they offer a free version. My practice fluctuates and at times is slow which would not benefit me to pay the subscription.

Nachteile:

It would be nice if they offered different pricing options. I realized the higher you pay the more the "bells and whistles". The paid subscription has some great features which can be customized.

Exceptional Value

Vorteile:

Doxy.me is easy to set up and use, offers exceptional value, and is reliable.

Nachteile:

I use the free version, occasionally the video quality is not as nice as I would like it to be, yet this is not a deal breaker for me.

Love this product

Kommentare: I've used Doxy for more than two years now and I rely on it daily to help me communicate with my clients. From live video sessions to posting information and links in my waiting room, Doxy helps me expand the care I give to my clients. Because most of my clients are seniors, I particularly love that they don't have to wait for a link during each session. The static address allows them to bookmark my Doxy site so it's always available to them.

Vorteile:

Static address, waiting room, ability to collect copays, ability to share screen, two way uploads.

Nachteile:

It's not really a con but I do wish the client and I could both see the time we've been in session to keep sessions to an appropriate length.

Doxy.Me is a great online platform

Kommentare: Very positive. They are very responsive to questions and support issues. The system works well.

Vorteile:

I started using Doxy.me during the pandemic when we all had to scramble quickly to move from in person to online. I've found the platform to be very easy to use for me as well as for clients. I continue to use the free version as I am not working as much and don't need the extra features.

Nachteile:

I have no complaints other than occasionally the meeting history gets lost when the call ends abruptly (internet outages happen).

Great for virtual therapy

Kommentare: Fantastic- Used intially the free version, then purchased the professional version. %05 of my practice remains virtual using Doxy.me exclusively for sessions

Vorteile:

Doxy.me became my solution in MArch of 2020 and I have continued to use it since. It's ease of use and troubleshooting, ability to have several participants log in from different locations, white board, and othe rtools make it invaluable.

Nachteile:

less reliable when clients log on from cell phones- often disconnects, or freezes when they gat a phone call during session.

Doxy.me a wonderful platform

Kommentare: Overall this is a wonderful platform. I would recommend and have recommended to all of my colleagues providing telebehavioral health services. It is well worth the cost; very cost effective, and so easy to use for both the clinician and the client.

Nachteile:

Nothing about the site I don't like. Apparently it has a lot of capabilities I am not familiar with and need to become more familiar so that I can leverage the entire site for my telehelath practice.

I wish there was an alert to let me know when clients entered the waiting room. I also wish the virtual backgrounds worked better. Pt sometimes could not see parts of me. I looked ghostly

Doxy is great for telehealth!

Kommentare: Doxy has made it possible for me to work from home. It has made it easy to acclimate new clients who have never done telehealth. My clients and I are very happy with the ease of use and quality of the audio and video. As a patient myself, I have used Zooom and other platforms and found them cumbersome, poorer in quality and harder to use.

Vorteile:

I like that the link is always the same and it is very easy for new users. I transitioned from in person to total telehealth in one day at the start of the pandemic. Doxy made it easy and less stressful.

Nachteile:

Occasionally the audio goes out or the video freezes, but I suspect that is due to users internet service. When clients have fiber optic internet there are rarely issues.

Easy to use and nice features available.

Kommentare: It is okay. I like some or most of the features available. I do wish there was a way I could go in and see all my previous appointments that were scheduled, who attended, and who no-showed.

Vorteile:

Most all of the features I've used has been easy to use. I liked the interpreter services and scheduling aspect.

Nachteile:

If I had another program open at the same time as Doxy.Me, my headset would not work when I needed to use it (i.e. Microsoft Teams and having to attend meetings). I would have to log out of Doxy.Me then turn my headset off and restart it to get it working again. It's frustrating and waste of my time. Also, I haven't been able to find a log of my past appointments that have been kept and those appointments where a patient did not show for it.

Doxey is inexpensive and easy to use

Kommentare: I have never had a problem with Doxy. Every once in a great while the video may be off but that happens to every platform that I am on.

It's HIPAA compliant platform. I can see and speak with clients in real time.

There is nothing that I can think of that I don't like about Doxy.

DOXYME works for me!

Vorteile:

The connivence, ease , confidentiality and options of this site works exceptionally well for me and for the patients I work with. It is straightforward, not complicated and easy to use.

Nachteile:

occasional probs with lagging of audio or "freezing" are unpleasant, but I have much less of these issues with DOXYME that with other sites
