Kommentare: I often work with companies who have no concept of change management but know that their system doesn't work so well. And in some cases their customer demand software traceability. devZing SVN allows me to demonstrate this and make the software more compliant. I had some problems creating users at one time and contact tech support. They responded right away with a fix. I was pleased with the speed of their response because I needed to enroll my program right away.

Vorteile: devZing makes it easy to create new SVN repositories to support my various projects. Originally, the repositories had a simple flat structure but have since been enhanced to include all the standard SVN folders. I use the repositories daily to not only save my revisions but also to transfer programs from development to production and vice versa. I use the SVN changelog daily also to keep track of my time. This is my revenue so I'm glad it works well.

Nachteile: User management is a little clumsy. I'd like to see my user be a super user that always has access to all repositories. It isn't hard to add a user to a repository so this is not a big deal. Just seems like a feature that would enhance the experience a bit.

Kommentare: In the rare cases we have needed support , it has always been prompt and of excellent quality, with our issues resolved promptly. This, to me, is the best reason to choose devZing.

Vorteile: Bugzilla is an industry standard tool for tracking bugs and enhancements for software. We wanted to improve out bug tracking capability without incurring the overhead of internally hosting a sever for Bugzilla. devZing was the answer. Their hosted Bugzilla service is well maintained with great support and a really good price.

Nachteile: While devZing keep Bugzilla current, they do not develop or control Bugzilla. It is an open source offering and as such is constrained by the resource that go into it and the priorities of the open source community that supports Bugzilla. There are features we'd like to see, such as the ability to edit or even delete a bug comment that are not withing devZing's control. What is in their control would be larger upload attachments sizes.

Kommentare: The function to export bug list has been very helpful for our quality department for reports.

Vorteile: We have been using Bugzilla for years and it's been a pretty helpful tool in our software development. I am a system admin but also a test engineer. I was using Bugzilla to log the bugs. It's very user friendly, simple to use and straight forward. Also the customer service is awesome. We recently changed our business credit card and forgot to update in DevZing. They reactivated the service for us even when we didn't realize what the problem was. When they got in touch with me about the card, they helped updated our info very quickly and the system was back on in time. Thanks.

Nachteile: The software is easy to use overall but the UI isn't the best in the field. I've used other bug tracking software before and bugzilla is the one that is more user friendly. But I think that brought this problem because it's easy to use so the UI could be less fancy. If the UI can be upgraded that would be better.

We changed to devZing for hosting Redmine. A very smooth transition with guidance as needed.

Vorteile: We had several issues with a different host provider including the lack of support when needed. Moving to devZing was the best thing that we have done. devZing helped to make the transition seamless. Everything came up working perfectly. AND several of the issues that we had with the previous provider disappeared. This is significant. Telling customers that we had email issues with our issue tracker and could not send them notifications - because the provider was blacklisted and flagged as spam throughout the internet - was extremely embarrassing and inefficient. Now with devZing, that issue has gone away.

We are using devZing from couple of years and it is easy to use.

Vorteile: I am using this portal from more than 2 year and it is good experience to use this software. It has a great design and easy to use.

Nachteile: Cons : What I feel recently about SVN integeration with bugZilla can be improved.
If we can change status, hours and other fields of perticular bug from commit window of SVN using some IDE like VS, eclipse etc... then this would be great.
