Kommentare: Eltropy is wonderful to work with. They are really on top of things, care about their product, and care about their customers. They are knowledgeable and have very creative ideas. One of the best things about working with Eltropy is how open they are to our ideas for enhancing their product. They have already incorporated many of our ideas and updated their product based on our feedback. They are my favorite vendor to work with by far.
Vorteile:
Having the ability to share files securely was the biggest selling point for us. This is something that was important to us and other options we looked into did not have this feature. Being able to integrate with our core was also key. Being able to track opt-ins in our core is key. Sending mass messages is very easy, and was also something we needed that Eltropy does well. I really like that you can save templated responses for our team to use. This helps with efficiency and consistency in responding to our members.
Nachteile:
We wish that it could work with our current solution for routing calls and chats to our member service representatives. This is something we have high hopes of being able to do in the future.

Great Team/Great Product
Kommentare: Eltropy's staff is highly attentive to our needs and respond quickly to anything that we need. This is a big, big deal! They have experienced a great deal of growth and we have been on the platform for close to a year; however, their attention to our needs have not waivered a bit. Their outstanding product demonstrates their organization's culture: easy to work with and attention to detail.
Vorteile:
This product is as easy to use as picking up your cell phone and texting a friend or family member. It opens up a way to communicate with our membership in a way that is convenient and valued by our members. Everyone texts!
Nachteile:
I cannot think of anything. Great product, great team!

I like that it is user friendly and fairly easy to learn as well. It allows us to communicate with our customers in a new way, providing faster answers with the same level of service as on the phone.
Nachteile:
Not sure if the software or our admins have the capability, but would love to see spam messages filtered better.

Fantastic text messaging solution

We chose Eltropy because its platform features a precise, easy to use format that we can utilize to not only market to our members, but also give them the ability to communicate with us personally and efficiently for any needs they might have. We were also very pleased to have the ability to use our existing phone number, as members were already familiar and comfortable with using this number.
Within a week of signing the contract, we were up and running. The deployment and training process was extremely proficient, enabling us to launch the program on the same day as our initial kick-off call.
Within a day of launching, we began receiving text messages from our members, requesting anything from loan information, to wanting to reset their online banking passwords.
We use the software for insurance tracking, collections, lending, member services, and much more. Through the secure links, we've been able to greatly enhance our lending departments ability to collect paystubs, Driver's Licenses, registrations, and more. Our insurance tracking has been greatly enhanced with the ability to quickly and efficiently collect updated insurance information on our collateral. We've even used the software for emergency communications and marketing. It's been a great solution for us.
Vorteile:
This is a very user friendly software that is quick and easy to implement, as well as learn to use. It has provided an excellent solution for collecting member information for our loan officers, as well as our collections and insurance departments. Our members love the ability to text the credit union.
Nachteile:
I would like to see some additions to reporting. There are some very good reports that can be pulled, but I don't see a comprehensive report showing the number of texts sent/received. This would be helpful to have to tie back to the contract which is based upon usage.

Eltropy in a Pandemic
Kommentare: From the initial sales call to the training (and ongoing support), Eltropy has been a value added product that has increased our avenues to communicate with our members. We have had constant support from our team that answer questions quickly and effectively. Our employees continue to learn and use it in a variety of uses. We have been very pleased with our implementation of this product.
Vorteile:
We implemented Eltropy at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. It was instrumental in us communicating with our membership with changes to operations, announcements, etc. It also was great for communicating one-on-one with members to get needed documents for new accounts and loans while our lobbies were closed. It has become a necessary tool for our staff to keep in contact with our members no matter where they are. We especially like the option for many employees / departments to use for a variety of uses.
Nachteile:
Our only hurdle has been people to opt-in to the mass texting service. With the lobbies being closed, it has been hard to inform and instruct members on the new feature as a way to communicate with GKCU employees. We continue to see numbers in usage increase - it is just slower than we thought (but we aren't dealing in 'normal' times either so we are understanding of that).
