Kommentare: We use S1 in tandem with Huntress and the response we get via monitor is second to none. Sometimes S1 will grab and stop things prior to Huntress and vice versa, however S1 gives a great deal of information as to why, how and when it finds something. Support is great, dashboard is great, although it contains alot of information and if you are familiar with how it provides the info or what the info is you can get overwhelmed very quickly.

Vorteile:

We like everything about S1. Its a solid product with a big feature set and also with the ability to have active threat hunting and also managed detection and response added.

Nachteile:

Its not the cheapest product in the world once you add all the features on, however thats the price you pay for good security.

Honest Sentinel One insight after 6 months

Kommentare: The ratings for Sentinel One are primarily based on their exceptional threat detection and response capabilities and their support system.
Quite impressive detections of logs and new AI technology in modern worls.

Vorteile:

1. Its autonomous endpoint protection, powered by AI, offers unparalleled detection and response capabilities. 2. Reduces the manual working of the organization security team.

Nachteile:

1. Sentinel One doesn't have any uninstaller tools, if in case any endpoint is not connected to the portal then you don't have the option to uninstall. In the above case, the only option left is formatting the endpoint if you want to remove it from your endpoint. 2. Send what I want to highlight is that they don't have any knowledgebase available on google, how to configure, manage, etc. 3. The support team will take so long to resolve the issue.

SentinelOne: the best EDR

Kommentare: Our experience with SentinelOne is great, in my opinion is the best EDR now available.

Vorteile:

Easy to deploy and install. Easy to make exclusions and other configurations.

Nachteile:

Sometimes agent does not connect to cloud.

Ease of use at a cost

Kommentare: Easy to setup and relatively easy to deploy using MDM

Vorteile:

The product is very easy to setup, and in most cases, it auto-remediates and is a setup-and-forget-it system. however, does have a lot of kinks

Nachteile:

It has false positives often, does not have a full rollback feature for mac. The worst part is the detecting engine has a lot of false positives

S1 SOC is Top Notch

Kommentare: I have a great experience with S1 and their SOC was always helpful and attentive to my needs and kept me informed throughout any issues I had.

Vorteile:

Sentinel One is a top notch Cyber security product that saved one of our customers from a large wide Malware/virus threat. All machines that had S1 enabled were virus free and the other computers that were in transition were infected.

Nachteile:

I the major con that I had issues with the S1 portal was deleting or uninstalling an endpoint or updating endpoints. I had to manually update agents and they weren’t updating on their own.

Best AI Antivirus

Kommentare: Overall, its best antivirus and we can rely on it up to certain point.

Vorteile:

It stops almost all malwares and also we can remote in into the device. We can send broadcast messages which I really like.

Nachteile:

It gives many false positives which sometimes are annoying.

Endpoint Detection and Response that delivers what it promises.

Kommentare: Very positive, I am made aware of version changes, issues, threats, and configuration problems quickly, which allows me to address these issues immediately. I have been very impressed by this product and by their support.

Vorteile:

The pricing is good for the quality of product you're purchasing, the detection is solid and picks up where other products might miss. Configuration and setup was intuitive and easy. Support has always been on top of whatever issues I have and resolves them quickly.

Nachteile:

So far I have only had minor issues which their support has been quick to address. Thankfully we have had no major issues with it and it is working like it should!

A Perfect EDR solution with Autonomous Response Capabilties

Kommentare: It has been really positive with SenitnelOne becoming the go to EDR product that we recommend for our clients to meet the EDR requirements.

Vorteile:

Autonomous response to threats regardless of being online of offline in connectivity to the management console. Ease of deployment and configuration. The simple UI with the access to the detailed product documentation, which provides comprehensive details needed for operations as well as troubleshooting. The support service, which responds rapidly and sorts out the issues within few mail correspondences.

Nachteile:

They would require few feature additions in vulnerability management to compete with other leading vendors.

Nachteile:

Sometimes sentinelone does too good a job: it blocked me from installing iterm2 which is the standard macos terminal application. However, I was able to create a IT ticket and point them to the SentinelOne's quarantined folder and get the rules updated to allow for iterm2 installation.

Kommentare: Since we install SentinelOne in our systems, we see an improvement, we are monitoring every computer knowing we are safe

Vorteile:

Automatic deploy, automatic update, control panel easy to use

Nachteile:

activation codes, are so long, easy to put wrong code

Easy Top Teir EDR for Small Team

Kommentare: Very easy to deploy and figure out. Has a lot of good features and detail if you want to explore it. Reduced the false positive alerts from our old solution.

Vorteile:

I love how easyer it is to use and the automated rediation, roll back and isolation features to do the work for me.

Nachteile:

I wish that they had an auto update feature for agent versions. It does update the current version with needed things, but it does not update the installed agent to a new version. Have to push it out manually via the console.

Sentinel One - Good Value for the Money.

Kommentare: So far, so good. No major issues.

Vorteile:

S1 provides most if not all of the features of its competitors but at a much better price point.

Nachteile:

Understanding the UI can be confusing and figuring out how to roll-out the software can be a little rough. I ended up using a 3rd party tool to roll it out.

Kommentare: Perfect. Everything has just been perfect. It all started with your aptitude of communicating with prospective customers in a timely manner, which your competitors did not.

Vorteile:

We love how transparent S1 is. We get ZERO complaints about the software blocking or causing other headaches. We like how accurate the matching is and the automatic remediation it provides.

Nachteile:

It's not free (just kidding). There isn't really anything to dislike about the product. You all are on the right track and honestly the only EDR worth replacing Microsoft Defender with after it's all said and done.

Good for Small Business

Vorteile:

The deployment was incredibly easy on each machine and we really like the USB device monitoring to control external devices. The Daily reports are helpful for documentation/record-keeping purposes.

Nachteile:

The activity dashboard can be a little complicated if you aren't a technical person. Same with the threat hunting rules. The layout isn't super friendly and has a learning curve of where everything is.

S1 Review

Kommentare: Presales was great. No pressure purchase. Answered all our questions. Gave several demos. Support has been great. No major issues during deployment. Updates have gone relatively smooth. Regular communication about updates and new features.

Vorteile:

Easy to deploy. Agent is lightweight. Locked down our environment - internal pen-testers have trouble bypassing it. Has saved us a few times as users will be users and click on anything and everything. Has been rock solid for the past year. Happy with the purchase.

Nachteile:

Sometimes it blocks things and it's tough to tell unless you really dig into it. Sometimes causes legit software to stop working until you whitelist. No automatic update for agents.

+1 for SentinelOne

Kommentare: Over all I am impressed with SentinelOne. They are continually looking at what they do and asking "Is there more that we can do with this data?" Not all of the ideas were ones we use, but they keep looking at ways to be more useful. In that process they have not lost view of the core objectives to find the bad software, its bad behavior, and kill it. If something is questionable it can track what it doe so that you can reverse it all later.

Vorteile:

The AI and behavior based monitoring as well as the normal fingerprint. Visibility give you the ability to look at process story lines and see how a process was triggered.

Nachteile:

There are some additional functions (like rogue devices) that sounded really neat, but they are not as useful to us as we thought they would be. We get too many notifications for them to be effective.

Sentinel One Review

Vorteile:

The Customer Service is top notch. Whenever we need help the support team is well informed about their software and are reliant in helping to solve issues. Sentinel One also is a strong anti virus that we've used to monitor and protect our endpoints.

Nachteile:

The set up was a bit confusing and it can be a bit burdensome to learn how to properly use the software.

Sentinel One - Great Endpoint Protection

Kommentare: After reviewing many different Endpoint Protection software, we found Sentinel One to have everything we needed. I've been impressed with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Vorteile:

This software is hard to circumvent. I love the quarantine/block options on nefarious files. The notifications work great and there's many options to configure. It's quite simple to manage and makes my job so much easier.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the agent won't update on a PC. So it has to be manually uninstalledre-installed with special commands from SAFE MODE on Windows PCs. It's uncommon but it does happen.

SentinelOne has been great product for end point protection.

Kommentare: Overall it is pretty smooth software, does not affect the endpoint performance, also I feel really secure when I have it install in my endpoint machine. However Security is not single software responsibility, even user have to be very proactive and should take more trainings and stay safe.

Vorteile:

It is really a pro software in finding out the vulnerability within endpoint, stay secure from threats, this can really save you from bad actors trying to put ransomware in your endpoint, your endpoint can easily be restored back to original state. Further we can integrate with SIEM and after observing the pattern we can have different threats use cases.

Nachteile:

Nothing I can think of it really worked smooth when I used it, however they can improve the builds in each update, and yes threat actors are thinking out of the box, they also need to think out of the box and build something which can even prevent zero day attacks.

SentinelOne EDR

Vorteile:

The product is easy to use and has a great and easy dashboard.

Nachteile:

It tends to take up a lot of processing resources on a PC.

User Friendly Security

Vorteile:

I'm able to easily manage and customize our dashboard, pull reports and view analytics.

Nachteile:

I wish we could create team dashboards for other users.

Great product

Vorteile:

This is so much more than your run of the mill antivirus software. It has improved our overall security posture 10x at least.

Nachteile:

Not really the software but a bit more training would be helpful. The software works great.

SentinelOne Performance Review

Kommentare: So far, Sentinel One is helping us to identify suspicious and malicious software, and preventing them from executing.

Vorteile:

Easy to configure and deploy to new systems.

Nachteile:

Nothing at this point. The system is working as advertised.

SentinelOne is a great product and keeps getting better

Kommentare: Superb. Minimal impact on administration side, it just works.

Vorteile:

Constantly improving, intuitive interface, gets the job done without much admin interaction, and has all the features you would want from an EDR product.

Nachteile:

The things I feel are lacking are constantly being added, so they are in touch with the consumer.

Ease of use

Easy to setup and S1 automatically puts the device that is suspects is infected in network quarantine. Also like the rollback feature.

Nachteile:

Would like for it to have more days/months in history for threat hunting
