Kommentare: Scheduling, running payments, workout data storage, automated reminders, training clients online. We never thought online training would be a significant portion of our business but with Covid it has turned out to represent 100% of our business.

Vorteile:

Very customizable and the Exercise.com team is willing to take suggestions and directly put them into action.

Nachteile:

Learning about all the different features can be time-consuming.

Lots of features for a gym with TERRIBLE CLIENT EXPERIENCE

Kommentare: Offers a lot and is very appealing to the gym owner. However is quickly a regrettable decision to move to exercise.com once you see what the client experience is like.

Vorteile:

Offered an "all-in-one" platform and there were no tiers for different client totals.

Nachteile:

The user experience on the client side is HORRIBLE! Heaven forbid your phone locks! If it does the app quits and MAYBE your logged weights will still be there when you go back into the workout. The workout notes for each section are not visible unless you back out into the overview of the workout. Also, you can not see what your previous weights were in the past when you're in the workout. It is just a very clunky user experience for my clients. And in return frustrating for me, the gym owner.

Versatile Software with Gold Standard Support

Kommentare: When I first inquired about their software, I was skeptical that they could do everything they claimed. This was based on some other software introductions I had before selecting Exercise.com. Since my initial setup and onboarding, they have kept their level of responsiveness and helpfulness at a level well above my expectations. I feel secure in investing in their software and running my business behind the scenes because of the support staff & success managers. The versatility of the software sold me initially, and their support since then has kept me on board.

Vorteile:

Their Customer support is very friendly and patient when I inquire about specific questions on how to best use the options in their software for any use case I may dream up. Their Software does an incredible job working as a Brick and mortar gym management tool without limiting options for personalized Online coaching or stand-alone online training program/plan offers.

Nachteile:

The learning curve is a little steep, and you really have to play around with it a lot to realize where all the customization options are, how they work nested inside other features, and how to use them. That's one thing that takes some getting use to. I would love more tutorials and more updated support docs to explain some of the workflows.

Kommentare: It feels like a product that is still finding its stride and is not as visually appealing for customers as many of the other interfaces they see on a daily basis or as other fitness apps often are.

Vorteile:

This is really just a huge shout out and THANK YOU to [sensitive content hidden] for her fabulous customer support! She is A-mazing and consistently handles off the wall requests from us with quick responses and a patient ear for our problems. I always feel like we're going to find some kind of solution, new trick or easier way to accomplish a task when we in get in touch with her. As far as exercise.com itself, what I like the most is that the platform is being improved as time goes on.

Nachteile:

That the financial reporting was limited. It was also confusing for athletes to purchase training sessions and schedule them. This may be more a reflection of how we set up our on training options on the back end, but the customer's app experience was not particularly visually appealing and often times was difficult to use due to options menus or buttons populating to outside of the usable screen on phones.

Love the customer service, how willing everybody is to help, how friendly, and how easy it is to use the platform. Abbie was AMAZING and always readily available to answer any questions I may have.

Nachteile:

I would like the video quality to be a bit better and maybe the capability of tracking macros within the app. Everything else is awesome!

Not loving all of the new updates. Also i wish you could scan people in and i've had a lot of trouble linking my card reader to the Exercise.com. I've never been able to get it to work.

Great onboarding process!

Vorteile:

Working with [sensitive content hidden] was so seamless. She was able to take the time to listen to our every needs and really develop solutions to the best of her ability. She was well versed in all of the solutions and capabilities of the app. Clearly the best experience was the onboarding process.

Nachteile:

The build out for the app took over 90 days and was caught in the middle of a process change that effected delivering our app. While I understand that it is not the norm, it was my experience.

So far my experience with exercise.com has been superb. I had an app built and it turned out sweet. My contact with my exercise.com team has been professional. Responses to my many questions have been timely and my POC [sensitive content hidden] has been super patient with my lack of IT knowledge.

Nachteile:

There was a hick-up on the IT side of the house in the early phases when my app was being built. That situation was quickly resolved and we got back on track.

I loved the staff! Abbie and Sage were absolute lifesavers. They worked with me very closely throughout the entire migration process. They answered all of my questions and explained everything in detail. They also provided tips on how to get the most out of the platform. I can't say enough good things about these ladies.

Kommentare: I decided to make the switch from a very frustrating gym management platform to Exercise.com based on a recommendation from the team at Monarch Clubs. I could not be ANY happier with how things have gone so far! The communication is the best out of any company I have ever worked. I knew that Exercise.com would be an investment however in the last month of being onboarded, I can honestly say that it is worth every penny and then some. We can not wait to see how Exercise.com pushes our gym forward!

The simplicity of it. Easy for users to navigate. Easy to create plans.

Nachteile:

I do not like that when creating plans the days do not line up with the plan schedules in the app that users see. I create plans to start on Monday but when I publish them the week in the app runs Sunday to Saturday..this is very confusing to users because they think the first day is a rest day.

New to software...
