Über diese Software

RightsManager enables best document security practices by allowing you to encrypt documents locally, so there is no need to upload unencrypted documents to an unknown server or file sharing site. You maintain complete control of your source files at all times. Once your files are encrypted, share files securely through the normal channelsemail, website, intranet, cloud storage or media. Recipients authenticate through a client/server interaction, with no password entry required if authorized.

Vorteile: There isn't anything about this that can be rated as a pro...
Perhaps being resource light as it only requires plugins to work

Nachteile: It does not do what its suppose to do. The lack of features like anti-screengrab, print to file, or thin client support makes it really stupid.
There is also a need to be online as the need for internet connectivity makes it not very usable.

Antwort des Softwareanbieters

von FileOpen Systems an 6.6.2018

The FileOpen software operates in three environments: installed on the desktop, via browser plug-ins, and via native HTML. Each of these has a different functional profile, i.e. not all features are available in all modes. There is at least one configuration in which the FileOpen Client *does* prevent screen capture, *does* prevent print-to-file, *does* enable viewing (in the browser) on any client system and *does* support Offline Permission. Our support team is happy to help configure a free evaluation subscription according to your needs.
