Kommentare: I was happy using Iris Works. It made studio management really easy.

Vorteile:

User friendly UI. Time saving really. Automated client leads saves up a lot of time. Constantly being updated and improved.

Nachteile:

If there was an option to include a reminder email to invoices I think that would've been great. Website is not that great compared to the app.

I loved Iris works

Vorteile:

It was very easy to use. It didn't​ take me long to learn how to use the sorftware.

Nachteile:

The extra fee to use the scheduler. Also,​ I wish they had a better email system (ex: I entered in the incorrect email address and didn't​ know until i asked the client if they received it)

Decent enough but much room for improvement.

Kommentare: It helps me keep my business organized better than I could alone, but I am definitely considering switching to a different program like ShootQ

Vorteile:

Contracts and invoices - I enjoy the ease of sending clients contracts and invoices. Being able to accept payments through Stripe and PayPal makes life easy.

Nachteile:

The organization of this program is not intuitive at all. The menu across the top is disorganized in itself like "locations" would be as important as a dedicated menu header as "clients". A menu to the side with the main part of the window being your workspace or "dashboard" would be much cleaner. Clients - a giant, seemingly neverending list of clients is useless. I can search them by name, but some sort of organization or grouping option would be nice. The individual client page is nice. I like being able to see their activity, invoices and documents. To -dos: A boring list that tells me nothing. Visuals would be nice, like an interactive calendar that can be color-coded. I can tell nothing from glancing at a list of text. Calendar: Meets the bare minimum of calendar functionality. Being able to see a list of upcoming calendar entries would also be nice. Invoices:Professional looking. I like that I can connect to Quickbooks. Documents: Again, a list. I like the tabs to separate them. The editing window is garbage. A common complaint is accidentally clicking outside of the window and losing your work. Studio: Email templates are ok, but not be able to add images is not ok. The banner option is lame. Also, if emailing clients is going to be an option through Iris Works, there needs to be an email client where we can look through our messages. Having to hunt down emails client by client is tiresome. Workflow would be nicer if there was a better calendar.

I love a company that listens

Kommentare: Iris Works Staff listen to their clients and take their suggestions and run with it. I really appreciate how they take constructive criticism and make their software better. The two times I've asked about a certain feature or functionality, within a couple months it was available! For that reason alone, I'd never consider switching softwares!

Vorteile:

I love that it's all-in-one. It's been so easy to use and navigate!

Nachteile:

Not a fan of the weather section and how it has to ask me every time I log in if I want to allow access to the weather part.

It's affordable and easy to use, totally useful, My favorite feature of Iris Works is their automation of workflow. I can now send my emails to my clients automatically, saving me a lot of time, ALL IN ONE!

I absolutely love the tools provided to me by Iris Works!

Vorteile:

I love everything that Iris works has done for my business organization and the ability to sink calendars, the fact that I am able to manage my clients in one great spot all while providing great customer service to my clients. This is for sure a win for my business.

Nachteile:

The ease of use on a mobile device isn't where I would like it to be. I would love an APP version for my phone so that I can use the system better on the go!

I love that it is basically a one-stop shop! It makes signing contracts and getting invoices paid super easy!

Nachteile:

Seems like they're are a few kinks that need to be worked out. Especially in the invoices and website lead customization .

I wish their was an easier way to view inquiries instead of having to click through to the site. Also I wish there was an easier way to view them once their instead of having to remember this name from the email alert and look them up under clients...such a waste of time! I also which you guys had easier contracts

Great business organization tool!

I love how it keeps my clients organized like the details of their session and wedding as well as the invoicing and questionnaires.

Nachteile:

I wish any emails sent out to clients would also be sent to my email so I have a copy of all communications.

This software is amazing

Kommentare: Save time while you work in your photography studio, while Iris Works makes your life much easier with the tools it offers.

Vorteile:

The photographers usually work independently and since I use this software my work is much easier with the features to manage the contracts and receive the payment invoices. I can also schedule appointments with my clients, all without losing time.

Nachteile:

It needs many improvements, I would like to be able to only modify the contracts instead of creating a completely new one. The improvements they need are many.

I am a homeschooling mom of 5 and there is no way I could run my photography business without Iris!

Kommentare: IRIS allowed me to reclaim my sanity and time. I spent so much time worrying, and going over my lists, and scheduling reminders, and writing out emails... IRIS took all of that and automated/organized every bit of it, where I don't have to think about it at all. Choosing IRIS was the smartest thing I have done for the business side of my business period.

Vorteile:

Iris allows me to stop stressing about something falling through the cracks. With so many balls in the air, I was constantly worrying about forgetting things or making a mistake. Between the automated workflows that gives me confidence that all of my emails are going out on time, the to do list items, so I know I didn't forget a deadline, to the templates that save me so much time! I love that the entire site is mobile optimized and that I can run my business from my phone if I have to. I have every piece of information with me no matter where I am, giving me the ability to provide quick answers and great customer service without having to wait until I get home to my computer. IRIS has also saved me a lot of money! I would have had to hire an assistant long ago, if I didn't have IRIS to automatically do much of the behind the scenes tasks. In fact, there are SO MANY little things IRIS does, that I actually have more confidence that they are being done, on time and correctly, than I would if it were a real person doing them. lol

I have been Iris Works to keep my clients and sessions organized for over 2 years now.

Vorteile:

I like being able to create client profiles, and being able to add notes for each session as well as be able to look at that client's history. I really enjoy the ability to attach a form and contract to emails for my clients and keeping those on file as well.

Nachteile:

There has been a couple features missing to make my workflow more efficient that I have made requests for with Iris Works and they haven't been created it. My biggest drawback is not being able to access my client through the calendar. For instance - when I click on a session I can see my client's name but to access that client's profile I have to leave my calendar to the client section and search that client to see additional information such as the form my client filled out for that session. I would like to be able to click on a session from the calendar and access that information more efficiently - especially for the days I have multiple clients.

I love using Iris Works for my photography business, I don't know what I would do without it!

Vorteile:

I love the layout of the software, and the client management system is perfectly suited for my medium-volume studio. It's great to be able to have automated emails, invoicing, calendar, and client info all in one place. I also love that it syncs with Shootoroof, PayPal and Square, and my google calendar.

Nachteile:

It really, really drives me crazy that I can't schedule invoices or create recording payments. About half of my clients are on payment plans, so I have to use either Square or PayPal invoicing to schedule future invoicing, it's messy and confusing and screws up the accounting feature on Iris works. That's my one real complaint, however. I think there's room for improvement in terms of design options for email (correctly very limited, I can't customize to look like the rest of my marketing) and it would be nice to not have to create an email template on a separate screen when scheduling automated emails, but those are minor annoyances. PLEASE FIX INVOICE SCHEDULING!!!

Game Changer

Kommentare: Customer service is always fantastic. They’re always making improvements to the software AND adding new partners. Spend the money and take your business to the next level.

Vorteile:

What’s not to like??? I couldn’t function without Iris!!! I can manage my shoot schedule, communications, online galleries & invoicing all in one place. It easily connects to my iCalendar, Shootproof, & Square! Email templates and automated workflows save me so much time.

Nachteile:

The only downside is the initial set-up; it does take some time to get all the existing client information entered. That would be a downside to implementing any client management system, not just Iris.

Helped Scale Our Business

Kommentare: Overall, we've renewed our subscription and will continue to use Iris Works.

Vorteile:

Iris Works allowed us to bring up our level of professionalism while simultaneously simplifying everything.

Nachteile:

One time, Iris-Works had a glitch and would not load. I tried to contact them to see how long it would take to get the program up and running, but I had trouble reaching anyone by phone/email. It was pretty time sensitive because the program contained all of our couple's contracts and contact information. It was a good reminder to diligently back everything up.

It's ok to use but I feel like it's not complete.

Vorteile:

Managing clients with their info, scheduling tasks, and keeping everything organized. I use to use folders with manual entry and this way better. I like to look up client info even when i'm not in my office.

Nachteile:

to get around on the site it's annoying..I wish there were more tabs to get back to certain areas. Plus I'm ALWAYS having to relink Quickbooks and add in my products over and over which stinks a ton of time. Not sure where the problem is there with Iris or QB but I hate to use PayPal for invoicing so that's why integrate with QB. I also hate that there is no separate area for leads they just go into the pile and you can not sort them for follow up.

I love Iris Works!

Kommentare: I have used Iris for several years and find more benefit from it the more I use it! I have automated many things through it and it has made my life so much easier.

Vorteile:

Iris has streamlined my client experience when booking. Automating things has made my life so much easier and I feel as though my business looks more professional with such a streamlined booking process.

Nachteile:

There are a few things I wish that I could do that Iris isn't capable of yet. However, they are constantly adding more features!

Makes my business SO much easier to run!

Vorteile:

I love every single feature, I love that I can see how much income I brought in last year so I can see how I'm doing this current year in relation. I love the invoicing, and how easy my workflow is!

Nachteile:

That clients can't make payments toward a lump sum. So if a wedding client wants to pay off part of their balance I have to send an invoice for that exact amount instead of letting them pay what they want as they go.

Overall I am happy with the application.

Vorteile:

I love the integration with shootproof and that it allows me to automate my workflows and receive payments on invoices. I also love that the people behind Iris Works are always working on improvements based on its clients feedback and most requested features so there is always new features being added and no additional cost.

Nachteile:

There are some features that are off to a great start but lacking in robust-ness. For example the calendar integrates with ical or google calendar but there is no ability to create availability and do automated appointment scheduling. It also doesnt allow you to categorize or group email templates so it can be hard to find what you want when its just a random list.

A great and easy to use studio management software!

Vorteile:

I love how easy and quickly I was able to integrate the software into my business. I was up and running very fast and it was easy to get help from the support team. I love how I can integrate all my calendars! I also really like how easy it is to keep client information all together...their contracts, questionnaires, invoices and everything all in one stop! I also really like the automation side of things with emails and more!

Nachteile:

The financial side of things is weak. I wish I could track my business expenses and mileage. I also wish I could use this as an app on my phone too. Last, I wish I could reply to emails sent out through the software.

Vorteile:

I love the ease of scheduling clients and sending off invoices, etc! I find that I am saving so much time and I love being able to see all of my invoices, scheduled sessions, and session info all in one spot! Plus...it's nice that it does things that I don't have time for (as in sending emails, etc!) I LOVE it...and the customer service is AMAZING!

Nachteile:

The worst part is setting it all up. Once you have done that, you're good to go...but the process is quite lengthy.

I love Iris Works. It's easy to use, user-friendly and I love the questionnaire feature.

Vorteile:

Easy to use, has questionnaires, you know when some has read a contract and sending invoices are simple.

Nachteile:

I really don't have a con(s) about this software, but what I would really like it if I could send line item invoices showing, reservation fee paid and the new balance owing. Or if someone is on a payment plan having automated invoices generated in which also shows past payments with the new balance owing. Another thing I really would like if after a session I could send out a review of services to a client to ask who they enjoyed their experience.

The support staff is incredible, fast communication and always available to help!

Vorteile:

I love how simple and clean it is. It's so easy to read, and manage, and keeps me organized! Love Iris Works! I also love the fact that she is so easy to communicate with, and always responds in a timely manner! I appreciate the customer support so much, it means the world to me!

Nachteile:

Would love to not have to sign in every time because I'm lazy :) also would love a phone app where it was quicker access!

I really appreciate how much Iris helps with tracking my workflow and staying organized!

Vorteile:

The ease of use, setting it up, and being able to easily see a snapshot of my calendar and to-dos. I love how it keeps me organized and info is separated by client!

Nachteile:

I wish I could drag/drop to-dos in a different order when they "occur" at the same time/same day. Wish you could click on client name from to-do list and go to their profile. I wish there were a scheduling feature.

I love how much easier it makes my life

Vorteile:

Contracts, client info, I like that I can send questionnaires and then easily refer back to the questionnaire before the session to make sure there isn't anything I'm missing.

Nachteile:

I wish there was a better app process as well as emailing clients without using a specific session, just if I need to send them a quick email or if I wanted to email ALL my clients about a sale.
