Excellent software product.

Kommentare: SO far, so good. We organize the activity of a fairly large maintenance department using this software.

Vorteile:

SS provides the essential tools for a CMMS.

Nachteile:

Missing some features. Room for improvement.

EASE AND SUPPORT

Kommentare: We run care homes for people with disabilities, the maintenance is ultra important and we need a great tool to help with maintenance and support SS-CMMS is it.

Vorteile:

ease of use and value for money go hand in hand with good customer support

Nachteile:

Sometimes the interface can be a little clunky.

Best bang for the buck

Kommentare: When ever I have an issue with malfunctioning aspect in the software, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is "Johnny on the Spot" to fix the problem. This doesn't happen often, usually only related to major updates and as far as I'm concerned it is not untypical to have problems with software updates. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] always responds quickly to resolve any problem.

Vorteile:

This software is inexpensive. My company doesn't have deep pockets. If it were not for the price of SS-CMMS, I would likely have to use a legal pad and sticky notes. I was able to get this software working functional for my operation with a little bit of testing in the trial version. I modified some tables in a way that would help me organize data for service reports. I use this application throughout the day both on desktop and mobile app. My operation is not too complex, thus this software suits me just fine.

Nachteile:

Would prefer to be able to build my own table definitions for type of maintenance issue, but the canned descriptions are enough to get by. Would prefer a little more robust report writer to link indexes of both open and complete task within a date range, but I get by with running two reports and joining them in Excel.

Simple and effective

Vorteile:

Very easy to use. Like all software it takes time to get everything set up, adding all of your machines, parts, pm schedueles, etc but it is pretty straight forward and logical.

Nachteile:

The android app is new and Great. The button spacing can be a little off sometimes which doesn't affect anything other than visual appeal

Good CMMS for the value

Outstanding and easy to us. Works great for small facilities that need something to track parts and repairs.

Nachteile:

It is limited, but expected for the value. Just a couple of things that could be added that would make it even better. Would be very useful if I could record equipment breakdowns severalty.

Develop a schedule that provides reminders at regular intervals

Have not been able to find a way to delete a task when it has been identified that it was incorrectly created or the schedule should have been changed.

Throughout the duration of using the system, it has been easy to use.

Very versatile Software

Kommentare: Overall I have enjoyed my experience with this software. We recently starting using it to track scheduled calibration on gauges and electronic testing equipment. This was previously kept on a paper record. The switch has improved how promptly things get calibrated helping to ensure a correct final product.

Vorteile:

There are several reasons I like working with this Software. I love the ease of use, software navigates very easily. I like all the features and notes im able to make to the work orders. The PM calendar feature allows me to better plan my week. Also the Support they offer is amazing! Thought I had lost 2 years of data by mistake and they were very quickly able to recover my data and get me back up and running.

Nachteile:

Not really a Con but would love to have a feature were could view the Equipment information from a open work order.

Pharmaceutical Enterprises Review for SS-CMMS

Kommentare: So far SS-CMMS is compatible.
This software is used daily within our Maintenance team.
We can track dates when last equipment was maintained and load extra Equipment assets at any given time.
The system is also Android Friendly for Quick viewing with your handset.

Vorteile:

Daily creating Job working Orders. Great system for Preventative Maintenance system within the Organization.

Nachteile:

The Numbering sequences of each Job Order. When printing Job Orders you need to print one by one instead of having the option to print all Work Orders.

Good system for a small operation

Kommentare: I started with the free system to see how it would work for my operation. It is a low end system as far as features but works well for our business. The e-mail work order generation makes it easy to track and prioritize trouble calls. There are areas in need of improvement but seems to be a work in progress with updates coming out every now and then.

Vorteile:

Easy to use. Accessible anywhere on any device.

Nachteile:

Reports are "clunky"

SS-CMMS the idea maintenance management system for small or medium businesses and properties

Kommentare: Overall we have been very happy with our SS-CMMS experience. As a small non-profit housing co-operative trying to do a good job maintaining our housing assets it has been an invaluable tool to track what maintenance is happening and make sure work doesn't get forgotten about. Two thumbs up!

Vorteile:

Simple, the software doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a Maximo or other major vendor's CMMS but it does what most small and medium sized users will want, it handles work orders well. Cost effective - most small and medium sized companies want something that isn't going to break the bank, SS-CMMS definitely delivers on that front. We are a small non-profit housing co-op and we don't have a lot of money, SS-CMMS was within our budget for maintenance software. Web hosted - Our business does not have the IT infrastructure to host our own database servers. SS-CMMS is entirely web based with the option to download your data. Fit our needs perfectly. Excellent customer service - we've encountered a bug or two and reported them to the developers, we get fast responses and quick fixes. We've been very happy with the customer service to date.

Nachteile:

The only down side we've found so far is a somewhat clunky user interface in some areas, but with the responsiveness of the developers I would expect this to improve over time.

All the basics

Kommentare: For the low price. This software cannot be competed with by the larger expensive cmms programs. It has all the functionality I need for my department. A few changes to make searches and navigation quicker would be great, but I am satisfies with the way it is now. Thanks for providing such a value for such a low price!

Vorteile:

The compartmented setup for locations and work orders is ideal for quickly referencing up to date information on our assets. Unlimited users makes the communication very fluid between departments and upper management.

Nachteile:

The search engine could have a few changes to make one less click for every PM completed. When quick compelting 30 or more PMs in one day. Each and every cleared pm will restart you at the top of the list. On a mobile device this requires lots of scrolling and makes for a tedious clean up if the list lapses for a day or two. A mobile app would be extremely handy and hopefully better oriented towards Android devices.

Low cost Software that will get the job done

Kommentare: with some creativity on how we wanted to use this software, we have learned to love it. We use it for a complete history of everything that has happened to all of our equipment.

Vorteile:

I like that you can have unlimited number of people using this software from the same price. it is also very easy to learn. comes with an APP

Nachteile:

not as fancy as other software programs that have much more features to it. cant create barcodes labels in this software, and the report is bland.

SS-CMMS Review

Kommentare: Customer support has been very helpful in making the changes we wanted so we could tailor the system to suit our business. We use it everyday.

Vorteile:

Does what it says it can do without a lot of training. I like the dashboard. Customer support has been responsive and helpful.

Nachteile:

It has clumsy navigation and the the views seem jumbled together. It would be nice to be able to custom arrange the view.

Good, cheap inventory management

Vorteile:

The highlight for our company is that it is very easy to get the equipment in and set up PM's and other work orders.

Nachteile:

The report printing doesn't always fit properly and is not too useful.

Review

Kommentare: Good but our person who sends for repairs refuses to use the work order feature, so it is really a waste.

I wish it would stay on the site you are using util you are done navigating the screens. Since the update a year ago you have to wait for it to go up to 100% between screens. What is that about? To time consuming to wait. Sometimes it gets stuck in the 90’s. Not everyone is in an area with high speed internet. We have all our sites in rural Virginia

Finally a facilities program that actually works

Kommentare: It helped us to go fully digital on our maintenance and service request system. No more paperwork. We have the option to store completed requests for future reference and to track reoccurring issues.

Vorteile:

The setup and daily use is very intuitive. You don't need to be an uber-geek to use this. It has a large variety of options to choose from. This makes it customizable.

Nachteile:

The PM setup can take a while to get used to. Some of the drop down options have too many choices. It's like having too much of a good thing.

Just what we needed

Kommentare: We have been using SS-CMMS for 2 years now and love the program. We needed something that would help us prioritize and track maintenance issues and more importantly be proactive. Reporting, data input, creating tasks are all easy to use. Learning curve was easy for everyone. Great program overall. Great value!

Managing Maintenance has never been easier or more affordable

Kommentare: As a Director of Engineering for a full service Marriott property my goal was to take our existing paper based Maintenance recording system to a digital format. My budget was Zero for such a system so I spent a considerable amount of time looking at several options. I found SS-CMMS, used the full featured free trial and fell in love with the simplistic approach, easy set up, and no nonsense experience of its use. I purchased the annual subscription myself to show how valuable a system such as this can be in terms of operation efficiency, and record keeping to my Hotel management. After review of the successes SS-CMMS has brought to our Hotel I have been reimbursed, and a budget line has been created to continue its operation. I highly recommend SS-CMMS to anyone looking for a simple yet effective means of managing your maintenance operation.
