Frustrating and underwhelmed. Updates are long overdue, and long-standing customers ignored.
Kommentare: Originally, it was a very efficient way to get an e-commerce website for our business. It just has not kept pace with the industry standards.
Vorteile: We have never had an issue with security; the website syncs with our very large inventory of items; it is fairly clean and simple to use when it comes to the basics of category and page set up.
Nachteile: Due to the large number of SKU's the site loads very slowly. There is no way to generate a site-wide performance or image size report to see if some pages could be optimized. There is no separate editor for mobile mode. No plug-ins for abandoned cart or other standard e-commerce apps. No easy way to see what new / updated skins might be available. Making changes is often a custom request process done by coders in New Zealand but screened by the sales office in Canada, so there's little direct communication with the team building the site. Virtually no customer service or effort made to make the experience better. 5 years in we're pretty much paying a hefty monthly hosting fee with very little communication.
