Pros and cons of RFPIO

Kommentare: Overall experience with RFPIO have been quite well as it has fulfilled our current requirements of task management and workflow management.

Vorteile:

RFPIO is the amazing tool for task management as well as for workflow management as we in our team has multiple tasks that are assigned independently to other resources and these tasks can be automatically monitored by team lead.Similarly workflow management helped us to follow the pipeline that we built for each iteration of task.

Nachteile:

E-signature feature of this tool is not upto the mark also it don't provide more varieties of docs in customised documents section but we can create different instances of the same using valid methods.

Extreme Time Saver

Kommentare: Responsive has helped increase my job efficiency greatly. With the platform, I'm able to easily add and remove Q/A pairings as well as leverage the current pairings we have in the database with ease. The ability to filter for certain things using the tags or collections feature helps me find things a lot quicker and remove any irrelevant items, ensuring the answers always pertain to exactly what I'm looking for. The only critiques I have with it are small ones which can be fixed or a new feature could be added to mitigate the problem. Overall, it's a very helpful platform that I encourage others in the industry to use, to help fill out questionnaires, as it has saved my team and I countless hours a year with the answering process.

Vorteile:

- Very user friendly - Smooth transitions between tabs and sections - Lots of options for sorting and filtering - "Collections" feature is extremely helpful

Nachteile:

- Copy and paste function sometimes doesn't work properly - When I'm in a Q/A pair, I'm unable to see what (if any) collection the pair is a part of. You can see this with the tags, so I'd like to see it with collections as well

Good product, could do with more customisation

Kommentare: Overall quite good. took a while to get use to and learn most of the functionalities, but it is a very effective tool.

Vorteile:

I like how it acts as as repository for our Q&As and can also help with projects.

Nachteile:

I don't like the lack of functionality around custom fields. For my company it is really important the AI doesn't give wrong info based on wrong product version.`

Not that useful

Kommentare: Not good. Very frustrating using this product. I wish we used another tool.

Vorteile:

The progress tracking is nice and the ability to tag people for help on questions is useful.

Nachteile:

The search is terrible. It constantly misidentifies what I'm searching for and shows completely unrelated results. Searching for answers is our main use case for this tool and it fails pretty miserably. I waste a lot of time in Responsive looking for things that should be straightforward. Its always a crapshoot importing documents, a lot of time it messes up identifying the right questions and answers and i've lost track of how many times the answers get exported to the wrong cell.

Nachteile:

I understand that the AI references the Content Library, but I would also like it to include responses based on information from documents uploaded to the tool.

Responsive at Work

Kommentare: Excellent, we like the collaboration with all team members and the Q&A setup.

Vorteile:

Ease of proposal creation, and the ability to have an easily accessible and up-to-date content library.

Nachteile:

We had some initial issues with answers not uploading correctly. It was resolved with the customer service team.

Great tool

Kommentare: Overall, very positive. Right now it is a central part of our working process, so I cannot see myself going back to no tool, as it was our case.

Vorteile:

That it was very easy to start working with, and that we have all the previous content in a very accesible way. The reports we receive are great, as we can have an overview of the projects and create stats on how we are working.

Nachteile:

We need to work very hard to keep everything updated. We have too many products and sub-companies, and therefore it is very difficult to use the AI automatic answers. There are many applications we are not using because they are limited to the admin, so I dont think we are using the full power of the tool. But that is more on us, I guess.

Responsive: My Honest Feedback

I love how Responsive has centralized our proposal process. It's much easier to manage multiple RFPs simultaneously, and the version control is excellent.

Nachteile:

It took some time to fully understand the platform's capabilities and navigate the interface.

The feature of Responsive that multiple collaborators can work on an RFP simultaneously is amazing. Also, the features like the content library, review, etc are very useful.

Nachteile:

Everything almost is perfect about the tool. I don't feel there is a drawback.

No more angry Sales Engineers

Kommentare: It has been a game changer for me. Instead of dozens of never updated, poorly written Google docs, I have a single point of truth. I no longer have to bug sales engineers for questions (hence the title of this review).

Vorteile:

The best feature is that it standardizes answers across the enterprise. No more "winging it" and hoping you're not misleading the client,

Nachteile:

The usefulness of Responsive depends on how much effort you put into setup and upkeep. If your colleagues don't keep it up to date, it is less valuable.

Kommentare: RFPIO is a good tool for answering complex RFPs with internal teams .

Vorteile:

Responsive has a great content library which grows over time and auto-tags relevant answers.

Nachteile:

The import process for importing files into the tool should be more smooth and user friendly.

The interface of copying and pasting answers from the platform into emails, slacks, or other applications has been poor.

Big Help for RFPs

Vorteile:

It provides a consolidated tool to manage all of our RFPs. Promotes collaboration and allows us to finish lengthy RFPs in a quick and diligent manner.

Nachteile:

Wish there was a more compact view that I could control what is shown in the UI

Intelligent answer library

Vorteile:

It is the intelligent answer library that makes it easy to find and reuse content from past projects.

Nachteile:

It is the export to Word process that can be frustrating and time-consuming.

The Most Flexible RFP Tool Available

Kommentare: As one of RFPIO's early customers, I can honestly say that our experience has been nothing but absolutely amazing. We've been able to calculate massive returns on investment in using their software, and I've enjoyed working with their team so much. RFPIO didn't just introduce me to a proposal tool, they introduced me to the proposal community.

Vorteile:

RFPIO has the best document import in the business. It's flexible enough to handle almost any format of document, but still offers plenty of time-saving shortcuts. The export functionality is also very good--it almost always results in a clean, tidy document. I also love the flexibility of the Answer Library. Features like merge tags, intelligent tagging, custom fields, collections and categories mean that the Library is more than capable of handling just about any business case you can throw at it.

Nachteile:

My computer tends to have some latency issues when trying to work with large projects, and everything takes maybe just one more click than I'd like, but I also think that the payoff there is an interface which really does not need to much explanation for end-users.

Game changing for the RFP team

Kommentare: As stated in the title, RFPIO has really changed how we manage the RFP process. It has allowed us to bring all of our SMEs into the system and saved us from countless versioning, passing Word docs around, copying and pasting updates into a master, etc. Our team can communicate and collaborate with ease. It is tremendously cost-effective in that it frees our technical folks and others to spend more time on their core jobs and less time digging for RFP answers.

Vorteile:

The ease of collaboration across the company and the ability to manage the RFP process in a far more streamlined fashion than previously. RFPIO allows the user to search for just the right content with ease. RFPIO has truly changed the way we do business -- for the better.

Nachteile:

Nothing, really. Whenever I have had an issue (all minor) with how the software works (for instance, a notification I wanted to turn off), the RFPIO team helped me with a workaround. It really works extremely well for us.

A great solution

Kommentare: I have always had a very positive experience working with the team.

Vorteile:

I think that RFPio does a phenomenal job of allowing us to import our RFPs and to keep an up-to-date library of our most common answers. It's a great way to centralize our processes.

Nachteile:

I think the import tool and the options for declaring entries (description, section, question, sub question, etc) can be a bit confusing. That said, I didn't go through an official training on the system, and inherited it from someone who inherited it. I think the concern is more with my organization, but I do think there are improvements that can be made to the import area in particular. Especially, for example, if there is a table built within a larger PDF document.

RFPIO is by far the best RFP software I have ever worked with in my 15+ years of proposal management

Kommentare: RFPIO's team is so cooperative, and responsive! Their goal is truly to be a partner to us in our RFP efforts.

Vorteile:

RFPIO is flexible and powerful and saves us time. It allows us to fully manage our library of responses, as well as attachments and projects, with easy visibility into what is going on. Even better it allows multiple divisions of our company to manage everything in one system!

Nachteile:

There is nothing we don't like about RFPIO.

Intuitive, affordable platform

Kommentare: Overall, RFPIO is a great product. I'm always impressed when I upload a complex source file and the software is able to identify the sections, questions and subquestions. However, I'd love for them to make the question assignment process simpler - I'd like to be able to assign specific questions to someone and still give them visibility on the entire project. Additionally, the multiple team member symbol doesn't indicate which specific members are needed on a specific question. My team members are often confused with the platform, no matter how simple I try to make it for them.

Vorteile:

Answer library, smart file upload functionality

Nachteile:

Assigning questions to different authors is not very clear cut. I find that I need to assign all questions to all team members involved on a response so that they have visibility on the entire project. Otherwise, they can only see the specific questions that are assigned to them.

Great Answer Library with Recommendations Features

Kommentare: Overall, me and my coworkers have enjoyed using RFPIO, mostly because of the ability to pull from existing Answer Library entries and continue to add to that library over time.

Vorteile:

The Answer Library and how it appears in the Recommendations Panel while working on an active RFP, is the best part about RFPIO.

Nachteile:

Importing and exporting is the trickest and sometimes most time consuming part about RFPIO. I wish there was more flexibility with the import functionality to select and label things. I wish I could more easily give project visibility to people without having to make them an Author/Reviewer, or Project Manager role. Oftentimes, I just want people to be able to see all the sections of a project, without giving them unnecessarily high access. One last "con" would be the email notifications. I know you can queue emails, and change your personal preferences, but it's still adds up to a lot of emails during a large complex project.

I can't imagine responding to an RFP without RFPIO ever again!

Vorteile:

The ease of usability and intuitiveness. A new user can be independent with less than 10 minutes introduction. We recently completed a complex government RFP with over 20 new internally users and multiple external consultants who were all able to quickly and confidently use RFPIO to provide content for our compelling response. The complexity is unimaginable in a historical Word redline version management process.

Nachteile:

Have not found any yet! Wish I would have known about RFPIO sooner.

Amazing product for efficiency

RFPIO = TIME SAVINGS

Kommentare: Every interaction I have had to date has been quick, and efficient. They bend over backwards to accomodate schedules and are patient with newbies of their tool.

Vorteile:

The collaboration and workflow is outstanding. The Customer Services is TOP NOTCH.

Nachteile:

There is nothing I don't like about this tool. Sure there are some features that can be added just like any software solution but overall I think this tool is top notch.
