Dashlane sync fast for all the devices. Dark Web monitoring is good, it actually scanning in realtime.

Nachteile:

Dashlane has small number of features. It's actually password store, just store the password and use it. It does not have many features. If I want to save ssh key or something?

Kommentare: So I'm really bad in remembering the passwords. Dashlane really helped me in keeping my multiple password saved. I'm using it for personal use too. It's really difficult to remember so many emails and password.

Off course it's feature of saving the password. For me it's really helpful in keeping my password saved with it.

Nachteile:

They may increase the time limit of saving the password. Like it's for 14 days currently.

Easy way to secure and access credentials

Vorteile:

It is the best way to secure passwords and it is providing VPN service also that is really great at free of cost for free plan users. As i am working in an organization it is my responsibility also to keep client credentials safe, Dashlane helping me to secure credentials and access them in safe way that is really good.

Nachteile:

The only dislike i have is we can use only one device is permitted with free plan. Apart from that there are no dislikes.

Good, But Lacking Compared To Competition

Kommentare: We ended up only using Dashlane for about a week until we decided to switch to 1Password.

Vorteile:

My favorite feature of Dashlane is the ability to change all (or some) of your passwords at once. This is especially useful for a business that utilizes accounts that are accessed by multiple employees.

Nachteile:

There were a few caveats that made us stop using Dashlane. Firstly, there are no folders, making it hard to manage our 50+ different account passwords and impossible to share specific folders with different media departments. Also, the price is higher than the competition, which makes it a bit unappealing when compared to something like 1Password (especially because they don't offer any multi-user plans on their lower price tiers).

I recommend the tool in order to not fight anymore by looking for a password. It allows to win time with only 1 password to remember. It's also easy to update the new passwords.

Nachteile:

The only cons I can see is that it needs to be approved by the legal department in order to be sure it's safe.

Pretty meh compared to other tools

Vorteile:

It did what it should - kept track of passwords and organized them in an encrypted folder for you. Pretty plain and simple!

Nachteile:

The Dashlane functionality was buggy and our passwords were often prompted for on pages that didn't require a password. It was also a big challenging to update passwords automatically when changed and I often found it didn't record changes. I left this platform for another.

Would rate higher, but no way to edit a user's email whilst retaining passwords

Vorteile:

Sign in on Chrome to websites works well. Password history and sharing of passwords useful even though sharing options are poor.

Nachteile:

Calls itself Dashlane for Business, but does not have deep understanding of Business user needs. When a staff member has a change of primary account name (eg: change of name) Dashlane should allow us like every other app to change the email linked to the account.

The Dark Web monitoring feature is quite impressive, notifying you if there have been any data breaches that have compromised your personal information.While Dashlane offers a free account, it is limited to one device, making it more suitable for testing the software than for regular use.Dashlane is a wonderful choice if you want a simple and safe way to manage your passwords.

I like that the software helps keep passwords safe and that you can share logins with employees without them actually having the password. Great for use since employees come and go.

Nachteile:

Sometimes it is a headache to login or if Im using a certain browser it won't work.

Approachable and user-friendly

Vorteile:

Dashlane is so easy to use! It lives as an icon in your browser bar and is always running, prompting you to update info or add new credentials as it notices you enter new information. Once you are logged in, you STAY logged in for days at a time, which is a feature I can't say enough good things about (and one of my major gripes with another similar password management program). It is so annoying if you have to continually log in with a (necessarily complex) master password just to get access to your other passwords. But Dashlane doesn't have that issue. It also has a user-friendly iPhone app.

Nachteile:

My only small gripe was that the autofill was SO good that it would sometimes log me in to websites automatically before I had a chance to confirm which login info I wanted to use (at times I have multiple logins for the same site, both for work and personal use). But that may not be an issue with Dashlane and instead could be something with those websites, I'm not sure. If it is an issue on Dashlane's end, I would suggest not autofilling right away but rather allowing a dropdown in the first input box (i.e., user name field) if there are multiple saved logins. And/or don't automatically run the "enter" command after filling things in (this also becomes an issue if a credit card has some updated information, like an expiration date). Instead, you can autofill everything and then let the user (me) click "enter" once I've confirmed everything is good to go.

Kommentare: Dashlane for Business is an excellent tool. It provides incredible security. It saves time by expediting the sign-in process. Never worry about forgetting a password again!

Vorteile:

Dashlane automatically saves & securely stores all of my passwords. It makes logging into sites EXTREMELY easy with its auto-fill function. It works seamlessly across all my devices. I also love the password-generator feature, which creates ultra-secure passwords when I don't feel like thinking of my own.

Nachteile:

I can hardly think of anything I don't love about Dashlane. I suppose my biggest problem with it is that I wish the VPN connected automatically.

manage your passwords with ease

Kommentare: manages passwords and automatically logs you in. Even allows for multiple logins to the same site (which is useful on occassion). tAkes the stress and pain out of managing multiple passwords (I have over 200)

Vorteile:

I have over 200 passwords and like most tried using the same password (not a good idea) or keeping a written list (also a bad idea). Now I can choose a password and get prompted to ensure it's secure, or let Dashlane pick one for me. Either way, it's saved for auto-population for later use. No more remembering did I use upper case or lower case? Did I add numbers and symbols, etc.. This takes all the guess work out and ensures a secure password is used. It also provides reminders of how long you've used the password (and to change it if needed). and one of the best features is you can use it across multiple devices.....

Nachteile:

At times there have been some sync issues across devices, but this has been rare. It is frustrating when it happens, but fortunately it has only occurred a few times over a couple of years.

Credential sharing made easy

Kommentare: We have been using Dashlane for more than a year now, we are very happy about this choice. It's a must for mid-size and big companies.

Vorteile:

It is very easy to : (1) add teammates, (2) add in new websites with shared credentials, (3) install extension or use the app to access websites. We are sharing dashlane within the company, it's SO MUCH EASIER NOW. We do not have to copy paste all the time and send confidential infos as credentials through chat and emails. It clearly feels safer.

Nachteile:

There are so many steps in order to log in, BUT it's definitely a plus as well because it ensures our data safety for sure.

Dashlane is very easy to use and just the perfect app to keep track of your passwords, renew them every so often, and be assured of unique and secured login details. The design is also very straightforward and intuitive, unlike some of its competitors that tend to confuse the user than to help. It is also a highly rated app that makes you confident about your online accounts' security, especially the ones that deal with finances.

Nachteile:

The initial setup can be a bit difficult to manage, but you just have to clearly understand the instructions so you can maximize its full features. Its browser plugin can occasionally send pop-ups to save passwords even if you just did save the passwords.

This is the best and most secure password manager. Period.

Kommentare: I use Dashlane to securely store all of my passwords and to create very strong passwords for my accounts. The sync features also makes logging into my account across my devices easy.

Dashlane is the best password manager out there. I've used several others, and I can confidently say Dashlane beats them all. From the very neat and intuitive user interface to the ease of use, this software is just awesome. The autofill option works like charm. That makes logging in very easy and painless. Another wonderful feature is that it seamlessly syncs my passwords across all my devices, making them available in whatever platform I'm using.

Nachteile:

Aside the price, there's really nothing to complain about since I never expected such a wonderful software to come so cheap.

Only mildly annoys me while getting the job done

- For whatever reason, there does not appear to be an option to add choose the phone number you use to autofill forms. Sometimes I need people to contact my office number, sometimes my cell. Overall Dashlane's form autofill annoys me. - Dashlane can be glitchy on certain websites. When this happens, I experience problems such as having to reload a page 20 bajillion times or turn dashlane off. -Dashlane automatically signs me out of my account multiple times a week. I have no idea why. I am the sole user on my computer. It's pretty frustrating. - I work at a consulting firm. We have numerous clients. Hence, I run into this specific issue with Sharepoint websites with similar set ups: Dashlane is unable to tell the difference between clients' Sharepoint login portals. I have to fight with Dashlane to turn it off, look up the password info for each client's Sharepoint portal and proceed.

Kommentare: Dashlane Business is great way to share passwords with other employees for websites that everyone on your team uses. Also, you are able to separate your personal passwords/info from your work passwords, which is the best part!

Vorteile:

Dashlane is very helpful for remembering the hundreds of passwords that we use on a daily basis, especially when you want to have very hard to crack passwords for different websites. I'm able to have a different password for each website and Dashlane keeps track of it all for me. I also love that I can save all my credit cards and bank info in it, so that I can checkout easily on payment platforms and online shopping websites.

Nachteile:

I have had times that Dashlane didn't update a password automatically that I changed on a certain website, which I don't catch until then next time I try to get on that website again.

Great for personal use

Kommentare: Dashlane was great are the time that we purchased it, offering an affordable password manager that allowed sharing. But it failed to scale with us and deliver features that were promised so that we could grow as a business.

Vorteile:

Dashlane offered a low price point for personal password manager. It's great for individual use, but it struggles to scale.

Nachteile:

There are no integration points for businesses. No API is available, the Chrome experience is lacking, so users are forced to use desktop machines rather than something like a Chromebook.

Vorteile:

I have been using Dashlane for a couple of years now. The guys over there at Dashlane are doing an excellent job. I especially like the user friendly dashboard and the extend in which you can add only the details you really need to. I also like that a lot of new features are being added all the time without affecting the overall performance or user friendly dashboard.

Nachteile:

The only thing I hold against Dashlane is that there has been a few times that I have had to force reset the software especially when it is used in combination with the google extension. Other than that I am very pleased.

Top 5 Best Apps Ever. Can't live without it anymore.

Vorteile:

It has singlehandedly saved me many many hours of login time, searching for passwords, syncing, and password generation time. It's brilliant, secure, and I can even install it on my government laptop (shhh!). It automatically logs me in to sites, it backs up all of my sensitive data/info and autofills it into forms at my request. Can't live with out it. If it were to crash or go out of business I'd be up the creek.

Nachteile:

The UI isn't as smooth as it could be, but that's nit-picking. It's pretty solid overall. I'd say the fact that I have to pay for it to sync on more than one device is a con... I guess.

Dashlane is great for companies looking to manage multiple logins and passwords.

Vorteile:

I've used Dashlane for over 2 years and it is one of my favorite applications. I can easily access passwords from my desktop, personal home computer and smartphone with ease. They sync automatically as well so I'm never stuck searching for a password I can't find.

Nachteile:

There is an issue with changing the original email address on accounts. I've since switched to different companies but I'm unable to change my original login password which is annoying.
