Kommentare: We started with a local support vendor that (after more than 10 years of frustration) we now discover has been sabbotaging our EHR system. In short - this person crashed our in house server, and PDS support came to our rescue. They worked overtime to discover what happened and how to best move forward. We had to start from scratch after 10 years and now we see how the system was supposed to run the whole time. It is working so much better than ever. We are an independent 4 provider clinic and can't afford something like Epic, and this system is delivering what we need at a cost we can afford. I simply can't thank their support enough for helping our practise literally survive after this incident. Without their help i think we would have had to close the doors.
Vorteile: The support we have received in our darkest hour with our EHR has been above and beyond.
Nachteile: See next note please as what was worst was our hardware support person and not MDsuite/PDS

Ok for office based primary care, but watch your back!
Kommentare: Terrible company to work with. Staff is lazy and unhelpful. I always feel like I'm dealing with a government bureaucrat instead of someone to whom I'm a customer.
Vorteile: The level of service calculator, the ease with which customers can make templates (assuming the end user gets sufficient training - but I talk about that later)
The customer support is horrific. Usually someone will talk to you right away, but they just say, I'll get so and so to contact you and no one ever does. The rep they sent to "train" us sat in the front office all day talking to the staff, and then hinted around several times about wanting some medical advice/treatment. When we had problems, she just blamed it on our systems even though we bought new computers that met or exceeded their system requirements.
Their list of ICD-10 codes aren't accurate. Numerous times I have tried to code a diagnosis and the number you find on ICD-10 dot com is TOTALLY different than the one in their database. It's an example of the lacadaisical way they approach business.
You can only log in on one machine at a time. I take my laptop into the room with the patients. Suppose I get a phone call and need to look up a result at my desk. I have to bring in the laptop and look it up or log myself out of the laptop, then login on the computer at my desk.
Some things in the history such as Gs and Ps (pregnancies) don't flow from the "pregnancy" screen to the "OB/GYN" screen. you have to enter it both places. You can't view the pregnancy flow sheet after the note is closed without opening a whole new note.
The software was clearly not thought out or written with the user in mind.
The cloud version is SLOOOOOOOW! They refuse to help us with that. The servers go down once or twice a month and we are dead in the water while that goes on.
