Kommentare: I love the mobile app because it allows me to stay connected and access from anywhere. This has been especially helpful when I'm out of the office and need to access important information.

Vorteile:

I like it because with this platform, I can quickly share information, documents, and updates, and the comment and discussion feature on each post allows for fluid, real-time interaction.

Nachteile:

At first, it took me a while to get familiar with all the available options and to be able to find the most efficient way to use them.

There are so many amazing aspects to ThoughtFarmer's interactive intranet platform. I brought an interactive intranet to my company for the first time they had ever experienced one. Therefore, it was crucial to have an intuitive, insightful, and easy-to-use tool for our staff. I have used other platforms before, but ThoughtFarmer's is not only the easiest one to use, but also the most professional and functional. After less than a year, internal communication has been transformed and is thriving now at RICK Engineering with the RICK Hub (our ThoughtFarmer intranet) as a center hub for everything, and employees are more engaged than ever across all of our offices. ThoughtFarmer's staff made our build and enhancements since then incredibly smooth and pleasant. They're always helpful, prompt, and forward-thinking, and absolute pleasure to work with.

Nachteile:

I honestly do not have any true dislikes or complaints. The current platform/process for pulling statistics has shortcomings and is not very easy to use. However, ThoughtFarmer has demonstrated a new stats platform they are working on now and will be launching soon. So, we're really looking forward to that.

Excellent Customer Service

Kommentare: The customer service team at ThoughtFarmer is great. Every time there is an issue, or we don't know how to solve a question, we reach out to the team. They are speedy with their replies, and usually have very straight forward direction and imagery to help solve the problem. Thank you [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] for all of your help in the first year of our Intranet!

Vorteile:

The software is overall straight forward to use. The Thoughtfarmer community page is a great way to learn tips and tricks on various software capabilities that we didn't realize were there.

Nachteile:

Challenges with employees connecting to the intranet when off of our Network - but this also may not be a Thoughtfarmer problem! This has made it a bit challenging for our jobsite employees (who never come into the office) to get used to using the Intranet and integrating it in their daily lives. But everyone in the office has had a great experience with it.

Kommentare: Positive. The customer service is really the star. The product could offer a few more features but TF does not fall far behind other intranets I've worked on in the page. In some places, it does excel.

Nachteile:

While TF offers a great deal of widgets/cards, there are a few I've seen from other platform providers that I'd love see in TF. E.g. greater page layout customization, an accordion feature that doesn't require subpages, upvoting, more options on image position and placement etc.

Amazing Product and Service

Kommentare: As I said before, the customer service offered through ThoughtFarmer is like nothing I've ever experienced. We were walked through every step with well-designed training classes and never left to just figure it out on our own. The product itself is very intuitive.

Vorteile:

The product itself checked off every box our organization needed, but the service we received from our Project Manager and Customer Success Manager really stood up. There was not a question they couldn't answer for us.

Nachteile:

There isn't anything I've found I don't like about this product. I have card suggestions, but these are not complaints.

A Fantastic Intranet Platform!

The support they have offered us through the setup process was incredibly valuable and I would encourage anyone considering ThoughtFarmer to take advantage of their Implementation Services.

Vorteile:

ThoughtFarmer is super user-friendly intranet software. It was easy to build out the site and will be simple to maintain. I'm excited about their content review feature to help manage our content as time goes on. Their implementation services and overall customer service was EXCELLENT. With their implementation services, you get bite-sized workshops that take you through all the important features and best practices so the process of building an intranet isn't overwhelming. Super helpful, especially if this is your first intranet site.

Nachteile:

The only thing that I don't love about ThoughtFarmer is their app navigation. Clicking through the site the way you would on a desktop just isn't super functional. That said, the search feature combats most issues that would arise from that, and I also understand that it's hard to fit a whole site into an app without watering it down.

I have really enjoyed working with ThoughtFarmer. I have had many questions come up while designing our Intranet and everyone has been quick to respond. I appreciate having the ability to reach someone directly. It is also nice being able to build a relationship with ThoughtFarmer and they know our goals, and can help us achieve those goals.

Nachteile:

There are very few things I didn't like about ThoughtFarmer. Of course, we've had a couple of hiccups while trying to figure everything out, but everyone has been quick to help. If they don't know the answer, they are sure to create a case with Tech Support to get us the answers we are needing.

Kommentare: Very professional company with friendly and helpful employees that offers great customer service and tech support.

Vorteile:

The product is very user friendly, has a great user interface and is also very intuitive for admins. Features are abundant, all elements for a great employee intranet are present.

Nachteile:

Setting up can be quite tedious, as is managing the read and write access for each post and page. In the end, this benefits the user though. One thing that is missing is a chat functionality, although this can be easily solved by having one of the standard collaboration tools installed. I do however believe that with the latest version of the software (that we are currently not on), you are able to integrate with MS Teams. Herewith, the chat function will become available.

ThoughtFarmer has changed the way our organization communicates and collaborates

Vorteile:

The easy-to-use platform makes it simple for anyone in our organization to post content. The message boards and alignment with individuals' roles has made it much easier for us to communicate with targeted groups and virtually eliminated the mess of mass emails we used to live with.

Nachteile:

The lack of integrated form-building/workflows in the system is limiting, but we've found ways to work around this in most cases. The platform does allow you to embed Wufoo forms, but it's not as elegant or efficient as truly integrated forms that could be linked to the user's identity.

A great way to disseminate information
a social experience at work that helps users hear and be heard

Vorteile:

The ease of use and how easily certain aspects can be customized are probably my favorite parts. But, it seems worth mentioning that the implementation process was also pretty enjoyable and informative. I feel like we learned a lot and were able to really launch something that our employees would engage. And they did.

Nachteile:

There isn't a particular part of ThoughtFarmer that we don't enjoy. The only issue I have is... I wish it had a learning management system integrated. But, that's more of a just a wish/request.

Kommentare: We needed a one stop platform where employees both old and new can quickly access information they need to make their lives easier at work and to find assets that will help them connect with our corporate culture. ThoughtFarmer met all our requirements and delivered what they promised.

Vorteile:

ThoughtFarmer is so much more than just software. The team was there from Day One to help us maximize our platform and build the Internet that met our expectations without breaking a sweat or breaking the bank. Putting together a company wide Intranet from scratch was a daunting initiative but with their expertise and support it was one of the easiest implementations I've ever done and the end product is something the whole team enjoys and uses daily. In a nut shell, ThoughtFarmer is super easy to use, fulfills all our requirements for what an Intranet should be and looks great.

Nachteile:

Having a news post appear in both the feed and in the top carousel is bit redundant .

Slick, glitch free, and adaptable intranet tool

Kommentare: We’ve built a community platform for lawyers and related professionals to share info and network. The granular access controls and security groups allow good siloing.

Vorteile:

It works solidly and reliably. Very hard to break! I’m sure I’ve spent a thousand hours in this tool as an admin and power user. And the results look great in desktop or mobile.

Nachteile:

Lack of integration with automation services like Zapier or IFTTT. It would be nice to have more ways to publish content to the intranet without manually logging on.

Fantastic and user-friendly intranet software

Vorteile:

ThoughtFarmer turned our intranet from an outdated repository of information to a dynamic site for employees. The kudos feature is great, and the news feed is really good. Very easy to use - all kinds of people (with varying tech savviness) have been posting news items. I like that we can target the audience, e.g. post specifically to leaders.

Nachteile:

Adding header images doesn't quite do what's expected in terms of resizing images. I don't love that almost everything you do ends up in the activity feed, i.e. people creating pages and adding events to group calendars. Not all relevant to the whole organization and it makes some of the more pertinent information harder to see.

User-Friendly Interface For Less Tech-Savvy Team

Vorteile:

I feel like I do not need to be a developer or programmer to click around the back end with ease. The front end is also extremely easy to use for our staff, many of whom are older or less comfortable with using the internet as a whole.

Nachteile:

I don't have much to say about what I don't like; I suppose our organization has had some very custom needs lately and it has taken some time to figure those out and get them set up, but ThoughtFarmer has done their very best to work with us and get them implemented, and it is shaping up.

Great Intranet Product

Vorteile:

This is a great looking intranet, very easy to navigate and use. The search is very strong, quick, and in-depth. From an administrative stand point it is very easy to manage as it runs on IIS and uses modern systems (ex. Amazon Corretto). Active Directory integration is nice. The support team is fantastic to deal with; quick to respond and supplies plenty of information.

Nachteile:

Could use a larger Knowledge Base. That's all I can think of!

Kommentare: My experience is great as we no longer need to move while looking to share documents or messages.

Vorteile:

ThoughtFarmer has a friendly UI interface that makes it easy to navigate the entire software features. Internal communications has been lifted by ThoughtFarmer.

Nachteile:

Currently, all the drawbacks has been rectified by the vendor customer support, which they offer as soon as possible.
