i love it for accounting, interesting

Vorteile:

the workflow is excellent, once the invoices are registered the payments are made after a short time. and the accounting is easier to manage with this tool

Nachteile:

unfortunately it is not possible to make changes to your provider, which is annoying. otherwise the software is great

Avid for All!

Kommentare: Overall I have loved my experience with Avid. I have used a plethora of AP processing platforms and by far Avid has been the most reliable and easy to use platform. I still have to use others and I dread it far more then when I know I have to process invoices on Avid. I would recommend this platform to anyone in my industry.

Vorteile:

-Uploading/Sending invoices to AVID is less than 24 hours -Invoicing History is always available and goes back more than 1 year which can be helpful -Header and distribution lines are easy to use -Codes pull from our chart of accounts making the coding process painless -Save and approval are very easy

Nachteile:

-Invoice feed does not separate invoices per property they are all mixed in with each and cannot be organized on our end. This makes it difficult when you are coding per one chart of accounts and then have to switch to another when the next invoice is a different property. -Header dollar amount line when changed does not reflect in line item and creates an extra step to adjust amount in multiple places adding time to coding

Not a big fan of Avid Pay

Kommentare: I do not like Avid Pay. One vendor called them and tried to change payment methods and Avid Pay customer support told them they should be charging us 5% more on invoices to make up for the usage fee from them.

Vorteile:

Avid Pay is easy to use to pay vendors.

Nachteile:

Majority of the time payments are not processed in a timely manner and vendors are constantly calling asking where their payment is.

An absolute MUST HAVE!

Kommentare: I've used AvidXchange for a few years and it blows my mind how we used to code invoices without it! It communicates flawlessly with our accounting software, making the process smooth!

Vorteile:

AvidXchange is a brilliant software making coding invoices easy and efficient! Gone are the days of manual coding and scanning! I love being able to send invoices to the email and have them in the portal to quickly code and submit. This software makes coding seamless and easy! A workflow game changer truly.

Nachteile:

No cons! If I must list one, I would say the timeliness of check delivery. Other than that, I love this software!

Much Needed Platform!

Vorteile:

I believe the user-friendliness and the weigh lifting it does on our Accounting department is what I most like about AvidXchange. It is easy to use and easy to navigate through the site. Also, the Avid Utilities feature is definitely a must have, that way you don't have to worry about getting late fees on your utility bills.

Nachteile:

I don't have any cons at this moment. I believe in continuous improvement and finding new and better ways to make the product more valuable. I believe AvidXchange is doing a good job so far. One item that would be good to add is to provide more training support and to have a more broad communication to the people who have access, especially when the system is encountering technical issues.

Avid for Bill Pay

Vorteile:

Makes Bill Pay easy with approval workflows. Easy to communicate to other team members in workflow. export/upload to Appfolio seamless. Reports make spreadsheets for owner bills. Also support is easy to connect with and very helpful

Nachteile:

Would be helpful to be able to have separate export for owner bills with avid extracting the markup. But this would be an entire new level of service.

AvidXchange Review

Vorteile:

Vendors no longer have to provide you with paper copies of invoices that get sent in, the vendors can send their own invoices in and they can be approved through the dashboard. AvidXchange allows our company to process payments easily and conveniently.

Nachteile:

I do not really have any complaints about AvidXchange. I think that there could be improvements on the Dashboard, but not a complaint.

Streamlining our Accounts Payable

Easy to use for a non-numbers person

I like how it is very user friendly, even if you don't have an accounting background or don't use accounting functions frequently. The ease of use in this software is superior.

Nothing--it really is a good program and has been very easy to use and saves us a lot of time.

Full Featured Software

Tracks everything in one place. Need a receipt? It's there. Wondering how much staff spent on travel? Its there. Did you pay that invoice? Find out.

Like any new system, it takes a little while to get over the learning curve.

Easy to use but wish I had more access

Vorteile:

The platform is easy to use and navigate. It isn't hard to search for what you need. The process of entering AP is easy.

Nachteile:

I don't like that I have to email AP to be entered. I would prefer to be able to upload it myself and have it readily available. Or, at least have the option to upload AP directly to Avid when it is urgent. I don't have as much access in Avid as I do other AP platforms and it can be frustrating when I have to change something on an invoice. For example, if the amount was entered incorrectly, I have to comment to have someone change it, instead of being able to change it myself at that moment.

I love Avid!

I hate that I'm not able to edit the invoice once it's been uploaded but I think I may just be blocked.

Kommentare: Our experience with AX is that they sell what you buy--meaning--no false promises and a great deal of kindness, functionality and grace with the transfer to a new system.

Vorteile:

The feature that is most impactful for me is their onboarding process. They meet with you each week to make sure the issues coming up are not only solved, but explained so that you have ownership of the operations. Their patience with those less technically inclined is fantastic.Although the software interface is very busy, all things seem to be labeled very logically and you can "poke" around to find things and not create issues.

Nachteile:

There was not a way to tie "class" from Quickbooks to AX which was tough for us, because of being a semi-governmental organization, we have to track expenditures in a very detailed way.

AvidPay a no brainer

Kommentare: Experience is great. At first I was skeptical, wondering if it was too good to be true or if our vendors wouldn't like receiving their payments via Avid. All those concerns have been put to rest. AvidPay really works and I've had no complaints from vendors. I think what makes it work is that Avid makes a transaction fee when vendors choose to receive payments by faster means like ACH or virtual credit card.

Vorteile:

At a net savings, AvidPay enabled us to eliminate our check cutting process, provided our vendors convenient options to receive our payments, and decreased several security risks in our payment process.

Nachteile:

Each month I pull a report off the Avid platform to confirm payments made have been received by our vendors. The report task a while to load, maybe 15 seconds? The bank statement looks a little different with the transaction description, but all the information is there to reconcile statements.

Kommentare: We have automated our AP approval flow as its now all dont in the system rather than manual handwritten approvals. All end users have taken onto the new flow and it has shortened our monthly close process.

Vorteile:

It is very easy to use and administer All users really like it, it has automated many of our processes.

Nachteile:

Would prefer coding options to be more straightforward, but it still works well.

Kommentare: The response and help during our initial start up with [sensitive content hidden] was fantastic; it was after help let us go to normal channels is where I lost my faith with getting help. Just this week I put in an URGENT email to support and still have not heard back.

Vorteile:

Less keying for accounting, easy researching of invoices status.

Nachteile:

Duplicate invoices and approval process, managers are very confused by this and can not move forward with out accounting deleting invoice first, which is causing problems. Strongroom and Caliber do not all ways integrate.

Best Accounts Payable Solution for your Business Needs

Kommentare: Processing the large amount of invoices that we have each month for our properties has become streamlined with Avid. We don't have to file and store thousands of invoices a month and cut and sign checks for all of these payments.

Vorteile:

It has streamlined our payables process substantially. All invoices can be located in our Avid module, review and approval of the vendor invoices, and most important, it integrates with our property management software.

Nachteile:

Everything is good, we really don't have any issues.

Kommentare: I have been very happy with the product. It provides the options that we were looking for when considering purchase. We only utilize the purchasing, reports, and PO function. When choosing a product we were looking for something that could integrate with Microsoft GP. We did customize a number of things to fit our business and everyone at AvidXchange were great while working thru the process.

Vorteile:

AvidXchange has helped streamline our invoice processing; to eliminate paper, and approval routing time. It provides the approving team access to see where it is in the approval/payment process and see payment information. By providing this information at their fingertips it saves us from receiving emails/phone calls looking for basic information. Overall the departments that use the system are very happy with having access to their invoices in one place.

Nachteile:

The reporting system is cumbersome. I would like a report that would let me customize the detail I am looking for.
