Kommentare: Einfaches und unkompliziertes CMS von Adobe, allerdings lohnt es sich nicht für kleinere Unternehmen, die lediglich ein CMS für den Website-Bau benötigen - dafür ist es zu teuer. Größere Unternehmen, die die anderen Komponenten (zbs. Analytics) auch verwenden, machen hier nichts verkehrt.

Vorteile:

- auch für Anfänger gut geeignet - benutzerfreundlich und ähnlicher Aufbau zu anderen CMS (zbs. Wordpress) - Website-Bau einfach & schnell gestaltet - Gutes, verknüpftes DAM System - Automatische Speicherung

Nachteile:

- Viele Bugs - Keine Benachrichtung bei Fehlermeldungen - Eingeschränkter Support (kein 1:1) - relativ teuer

Kommentare: Generell ein einfaches und zuverlässiges CM tool, welches sich schnell erlernen lässt.

Vorteile:

- einfache Funktionen - schnell zu erlernen (ähnelt zbs. wordpress)- automatische Speicherung ohne Veröffentlichung - gute Übersicht und interne Features (zbs. Datenbank für Assets)

Nachteile:

- Teilweise Bugs (Veröffentlichungen sind oft nicht sofort zu sehen) - Assets müssen immer erst in der AEM Cloud hochgeladen werden, bevor sie benutzt werden können.

Manage organizational websites, content & forms easily with Adobe AEM!

Kommentare: Our organization has multiple websites & media channels, AEM keeps our assets intact & handy. Reusing an asset is extremely simple using the Assets pane. AEM helps us to deliver personalized experience to our end users.

Vorteile:

AEM has a site builder inbuilt which is a simple drag & drop application to create & edit websites and or webpages. AEM supports multi-channel publishing & it easily integrates with Adobe Analytics & Adobe Campaigns.

Nachteile:

AEM has a learning curve & it would require formal trainings for the users & the administrators. The product is also very expensive & might be unsuitable for smaller businesses.

Digital content authoring and delivery tool

Kommentare: Since Marketo is part of the CRM, and individuals are increasingly migrating away from a dispersed Martech stack in favor of a more unified strategy, the connectivity between the two has been really helpful.

Vorteile:

As the manager of marketing operations, I am responsible for reporting on campaign statistics, website traffic, and key performance indicators (KPIs), as well as making choices based on this data. The metrics were presented in a way that was easy to understand and use, which aided me greatly in my daily reporting.

Nachteile:

Although the tool's insights and reports are sufficient, they can be improved by allowing users to create their own segments and therefore allowing them to zero in on the channels that are of greatest importance to them.

The "Ferrari" of CMS and DAM

Kommentare: It's a great suite, but it requires an incredible effort and a well structured team to make it work at its best.

Vorteile:

The real power of this software is its overall suite, not the single software itself: only if you leverage on the CMS, the DAM, etc you can get the real benefits of this software.But a lot depends on the system integrator: this software is a Ferrari, but if you do not set it up properly, it's like driving it only with the 2nd gear.

Nachteile:

It requires a lot of work, especially in the set up. The DAM could be a nightmare if you do not have a good data structure, good processes and well organized folders.The CMS could be a nightmare as well, especially when you use it in a headless commerce perspective.Again, a lot depends on the system integrator partner.

Great tool for enterprises

Vorteile:

It's a great tool to manage a big amount of websites. You can use content in many different websites in a very easy and efficient way.

Nachteile:

Really difficult set-up, developments are extremely complex and take a lot of time.

Enjoyed the functionality and customization

Kommentare: I think the forms that I was able to create with AEM were great. The software I now use doesn't have the same customizable features, and I miss them. I feel that the forms I create now don't look at good.

Vorteile:

I really liked how much I could customize the forms I created.

Nachteile:

It took a lot of training and practice to get good at using the software.

Complex, non-intuitive but gets the job done

Kommentare: I have found it more complex with content types differentiated in less intuitive ways. It requires memorizing what differentiates one things from another rather than getting it intuitively as a logical distinction. It also has more to ignore when completing a task.

Vorteile:

I do like the clean authoring forms, and the availability and visibility of locales, translations though they are very complex to manage and understand

Nachteile:

I dislike the complexity of workflows for doing so many things, from setting up locals and translations, to editing headless components. Compared o other products, AEM seems to have more things to work with rather than fewer things that can be customized in broader ways.

Steep learning curve and high cost, especially for small teams.

Adobe Experience Manager offers an integrated platform for managing content, digital assets, and customer experiences across multiple channels. This allows organizations to create a unified customer experience across all channels, from web and mobile to email and print.

Nachteile:

The product is highly customizable, but the amount of customization available is limited. This means that organizations may not be able to get the exact functionality they need out of the product.

An expensive option for the content management

Kommentare: In my previous company, I developed two big projects. Both of them was done for the big companies of Belgium. For one of them, we developed 17 websites with different language options.

Vorteile:

Backend is full Java and for the frontend, you use any modern frontend frameworks. By dragging and dropping, an editor without any development knowledge, can easily the content. Its asset management is strong.

Nachteile:

Development is a little bit difficult and there are a lot of unknown limitations and bugs. If your target is just content management, this solution is so heavy and expensive.

For being an Author, you're as limited to the limitations of your developer.

Kommentare: It's been ok. I believe your overall experience woudl depend on the team's willingness to keep up to date with all feature releases and understand it's capabilities, vs it's limitations.

Vorteile:

I think if it were as polished and built to represent the business' needs, then it could be an incredibly efficient platform for your web experience. The ability to rapidly create and maintain pages and the integration with Target makes for a great testing platform.

Nachteile:

Again with developer limitations.. there are a lot of vanilla features that work great and is a benefit to the business. But when it comes to building out your website experience.. unless your UX designer and developer express creativity and can work around challenges and limitations, you may find yourself being only able to build pretty cookie cutter type web sites.

An enterprise content manager that acts like visual studios

Kommentare: I've used a few content managers, but this one has been the best for author customization and communication. I like that you can leave other authors notes. I compare it to visual studios because authors have the ability to drag and drop to modify pages. Authors have a lot of freedom potential for settings, obviously depending on permissions. Their tag manager is also a great asset to our architects.

Vorteile:

Tag manager, digital asset manager, and nontechnical admin abilities.

Nachteile:

Permissions take a lot of effort to lock down and authors could potentially do prod damage. A lot of I's to dot and t's to cross to make sure they don't have damaging access.

Useful Content management system

Vorteile:

Very user friendly with the WYSIWYG interface and easy to learn components and templates. Regular workers can author their own content.

Nachteile:

With most content management systems they each have their own nuances. Things can arise depending on what browser youre using, how your components were made, what kind of network restrictions your company has. All things to consider when setting up this application.

One of the best content management systems

Vorteile:

A Sophisticated tool that is easy and quick to develop and addresses digital marketing needs, super easy to use for a marketer.

Nachteile:

Adobe docs do not provide comprehensive development help. Learning is more community driven than authenticated by Adobe

Clumsy and bulky

Vorteile:

it has basic functionality to store, tag and share creative assets with internal and external team members

Nachteile:

Not a user-friendly design. For example, search results load in portions, you never know if that's all or you need to scroll down more, hold, release, wait. Not intuitive at all.

Can do it all

Vorteile:

The level of customization and development capabilities are best in the business. We run everything on through AEM. My primary function is around the DAM, but from web authoring, workflows, you name it, we're able to customize AEM to meet our exact needs

Nachteile:

While customization is king, it does take development time, hours and personnel. That said, the pros FAR outweigh the cons in that regard.

Very useful but transformed to be prohibitively expensive

It was the best tool I've ever found to make dynamic forms

Nachteile:

It used to be included in acrobat but was transformed in to a 5-figure product, way too expensive for a small business.

Good content management system

Vorteile:

Adobe Experience Manager makes it easier to organize and manage the data needed as per the company's needs. It has a hassle free set up and it's overall a stable tool.

Nachteile:

A bit pricey, but totally worth every penny.

Useful for document management and storage

I could make notes on electronic documents.

Updating those notes regularly was difficult.

Ultimate way to organize media

Vorteile:

This thing is powerful and can handle so many things I can't list them all. If you use Adobe software and have lots of files, you owe it to yourself to check AEM out and how it can help your company.

Nachteile:

Because it can do everything under the sun, it's hard to navigate and difficult to see all of it's functions. The support contract is almost as much as the software
