Kommentare: Excellent product that allows attachments via barcode to the FMIS, has really improved with the latest release allowing PDF files as they are much smaller (MB) than the previous TIF files. Really easy to set up and use especially directing your photocopier to the required directory on the network.

Scanning of received invoices into accounts system - Technology One
Kommentare: Our overall impression of the product is that it is OK. We have found the product to be very sensitive in terms of where on the invoice the barcodes are placed which can become a time consuming practice when scanning up to 200 invoices a day. There are times when a scanned invoice is not recognised for no apparent reason; for example in a batch of 50 invoices that are scanned, invoices 5, 26 and 38 may not 'work' and need to be barcoded and scanned again. This again can be an extremely time consuming and frustrating task.

A Good Solid Document Management System
Kommentare: We have been using Ferret for document storage at our insurance brokerage for around two years. It's been a great way to store documentation electronically in a systematic and orderly manner. We like the way you can link accounts, input notes and search for clients and documents. It would be good to have segmentation for each client account in terms of being able to separate records into different subsets such as renewals / claims / proposals / general. Overall I would recommend Ferret to any other business looking for an easy-to-use document management system.

Easy to use
Kommentare: We have found Ferret software easy and simple to use. It's a lot easier trying to find information with Ferret rather than looking through the hard copy files as we used to.

After installation - no problem using Ferret
Kommentare: Easy to use - has enabled all records to be kept in client file. Has eliminated the need to print and file as many documents.
