Nachteile:

Parents complain about the statements and how they read. They find it difficult even if I put in a specific date I'm glad to see that you can print the child's info sheet from their profile. It would be easier if the information came directly up on the screen instead of the steps you have to take

Kommentare: Having Jackrabbit to use as our enrollment, billing, and attendance tracking system is the best product that we can find out there. We have researched other products over the years, and almost switched to another product at one point, but Jackrabbit is the superior system for us to meet our needs.

Vorteile:

We have been using Jackrabbit to a little over 10 years, and as changes and adaptations have been made to Jackrabbit Care we have found the system to be exceptional compared to the other products that are out there. Two of our most positive reviews would be first with regard to your customer service as your staff respond quickly, are always helpful, and if they need extra time to research something they will let you know and follow up ASAP. Also, the "Legalese" or Agreement Text portion of the online web registration settings is amazing. No other product provides this same level of ease for parents and also the details we need immediately upon enrollment.

Nachteile:

Our programs are unique in that we offer a great deal more variety in scheduling then most other Before/After School Programs. I wish there was an easier way for parents to correctly input their child's selected days at the time they complete the registration. This is the one step that most parents miss during the process, and one that would be the most helpful to us to have right up front.

This product is very easy to get used to. I rarely have a problem with the software and it is easy to teach others how to use it.

Nachteile:

Sometimes doesn't load quickly. It may be the internet connection.

Great System

Kommentare: The ease of adding classes as needed is what is great about Jackrabbit. I can create, start, end, and archive classes at any time. It is easy for parents to use as well.

Vorteile:

It is user friendly and once you learn it using it becomes second nature.

Nachteile:

My only real concern/complaint has to do with billing. I do not like that if accounts are not active, we are still charged for them if we do not archive them.

Great Customer Support

Kommentare: Great! I've always had great support and even had them take care of some issues I thought would be very timely on my own.

Vorteile:

Great quality service! Very timely and efficient replies.

Nachteile:

24/7 isn't an option. Not a huge issue, but that is the only down side.

Trial Review

Kommentare: Overall I like Jackrabbit, but I prefer to wait before getting it for our center.

Vorteile:

I liked that it is user-friendly. I've used JR class in the past and I liked it.

Nachteile:

I think there is still a lot of work that needs to be done to meet the needs of our daycare. We need more reports, filters, etc.

Jack Rabbit Care

Kommentare: ​It is a fairly easy system to use that is reasonably priced. It does the job that is needed and is user friendly for parents as well. I like that I can send out a mass email to the entire group or individual classes.

Vorteile:

I like that I can print a report for almost anything that I need to do - attendance, statements, balances etc. I like that it is an easy to use system without all of the bells and whistles getting in the way. I can contact the helpdesk with a question and get a fast response. I can also schedule a call to get additional support if needed.

Nachteile:

Sometimes it is frustrating that two different parents aren't able to pay a bill or both have access to the billing, especially if the parents aren't together and they are sharing the cost of care. Setting up registration can be a lengthy process and it would be nice at times to have it more streamlined for what is needed. The registration fee does not get automatically applied as well to the current family when the new enrollment window opens. This is frustrating because I have to go in manually and apply a registration fee for any returning family once they register.

Best possible billing solution for your childcare center needs

The ease of billing and collecting tuition and the printing of reports is so simple yet it covers all of our needs

Nachteile:

Cons: there are not any that I can see, the ease of adding in new families and setting up the billing rotation is far easier than procare or brightwheel. The ease of collecting fees and printing reports is top-notch

Great system with great support

Kommentare: We've had a great experience with Jackrabbit care. The support team made sure we had everything we needed at setup and called periodically to make sure things were running smoothly. The system is easy to use and parents love the communication and ease it brings. It was one of the cheaper options when we were looking for a system but still offers all of the features.

Vorteile:

The support team has been amazing! The system is user friendly and continues to add valuable features.

Nachteile:

I feel like we have trouble with the app some people don't get notifications, some apps freeze. The app is still being developed witch makes it hard to use sometimes.

Too complex to use unless you're a computer genius

Kommentare: It did allow me to organize all my billing and enrollment all in one place.

Vorteile:

The software is built to hold a lot of the business information, which was helpful. We were able to track billing and enrollment and such. You are also able to bill parents through jackrabbit, which my customers really liked. Anything to make it easier on them, they really appreciate.

Nachteile:

Compared to other programs I have used, this one is very complex and difficult to learn how to use in the beginning. I did not find any helpful tools on how things worked so it took me awhile. And in this industry I am constantly training new people, so to be doing so on a complicated program was frustrating.

Amazing Customer Support, but missing important features

Vorteile:

Jackrabbitt customer support is absolutely AMAZING! This is the best part of us using their system. Their ability to not only explain but to make videos on the particular issue you need help with is beyond helpful! That is the primary reason we are still with the Jackrabbit.

Nachteile:

The absence of crucial features, which were fervently requested through their own idea portal and garnered widespread support from hundreds of schools and teachers, is deeply concerning. These essential functionalities, including an integrated store, private lesson scheduler, payment options, and other integrations, are pivotal to any school's daily operation do not exist. The "workarounds" do not work. We have to spend $$$ to use other companies to bridge these gaps. It also takes so much more time and effort, where it could easily be done in one platform.

Easy to Use

Kommentare: Jackrabbit Care has been much more suited for the needs of our programming. We were using the original version that was designed for gymnastic use to run an after school program. This newer vision was designed with childcare in mind and offers a better product for what we use it for.

Vorteile:

The software is easy to navigate and the parents have responded well to the app.

Nachteile:

When on site at different campuses the system will sometimes runs slow.

Music School Management Software

Vorteile:

We've been using JackRabbit to manage our music school classes and student payments for almost 10 years. It's easy to use, has capabilities to process monthly tuition payments via credit card or bank account. One of the best features is the ability to do online registration. This was a game changer for us and has contributed to more registrations as people can register at any time, for example if they happen to make the decision to enroll in the middle of the night.

Nachteile:

I'm not sure what their uptime is, but maybe once or twice a year, there will be a server outage. This can be inconvenient as we use the software to run the entire music school.

Kommentare: It's been pretty great. I've worked with other programs that are similar and they weren't always straightforward to use.

Vorteile:

It's pretty straightforward and easy to use. It's very flexible- if I need to make a change to anything I'm able to so without having to go through a bunch of screens. Registering kids is super easy

Nachteile:

It can be a little too flexible. It would be great if we could set up payments once and have it auto populate for the dates I set it to. For example, if I have a 26 week program, it would be awesome if I could register a child for it, say tuition is going to be $xx amount and it's to be invoiced/charged weekly, and then have Jackrabbit create the invoices for those 26 weeks automatically. Then if I had to manually change something I could. Right now I have to manually input every week for every child which can be time consuming.

My Go To Site!

Vorteile:

Jackrabbit Care is the place that I go to several times a day for many reasons. Our state requires all paperwork to be in a file folder in a file cabinet. Jackrabbit allows me instant access to everything. If I need a birthday, it is there. If I need to check a payment for a parent , I go to transactions. If I need a phone number, I don't have to go to the file drawer, it is at my right arm.Tax time is a breeze as I can get a statement for a parent while I chat with them. I love to see if I can top my income from the year before on the dashboard graph.It takes awhile to input all the info I need but once it is there, it takes only a moment when a child brings in their physical and I have to just add the shots they got that day. My state immunization survey used to take me hours and now takes minutes.

Nachteile:

If I need to change a payment or payment error, it takes too many steps. I have to unlink payments for each line on the transaction page rather than being able to unlink the whole page.I don't like when I register a child and after I am done and put them in a class, I have to go back and make class changes and start all over.

Jackrabbit

Kommentare: It was so nice to be able to move all our registrations online. Easier to track data... but there's a learning curve in figuring out the exact search parameters to access that data! But customer service is amazing - they are easy to reach and quick to help!

Vorteile:

It is very comprehensive with lots of options for customization. It is easy to get up and running with some features, and then add in more as you go. They have phenomenal real person customer service. They are so easy to reach by phone or on Zoom.

Nachteile:

There are so many options to customize, that it can be difficult to find the data you want. (E.g. one drop down menu has the wrong option selected, so you get no results.) It isn't very intuitive. More i information buttons with better explanations would be helpful. Pre-loaded Favourite search options would also help.

I like that there is a platform where all the members can be categorized by group level and print outs are readily available for rosters.

The email templates are limited and not enough variety of choice.
