Kommentare: Our ABA department really loves the program, and for their use it is efficient and compliant.
Vorteile:
The implementation process was very organized, thoroughly communicated, and professionally managed. All inquiries were handled with courtesy and professionalism. Support needs, while very few, are promptly addressed and resolved.
Nachteile:
Program setup seems more intricate than other programs I've used. Multiple levels of user setup, connecting providers to one another and clients, attaching templates to service codes, etc, seems rather cumbersome and, at times, confusing.
High Hopes, Massive Letdown
Kommentare: Extremely poor customer service. Extremely expensive for poor follow through.
Vorteile:
The graphing and data collection portion of the software displays in a very clean and clear way. I enjoyed programming with Central Reach because of the thousands of configuration options--it helped me be creative as a practitioner without having to reinvent the wheel multiple times because I could bank goals.
Nachteile:
Customer Service was good when available, but it was extremely difficult to receive the level of help I needed in a timely fashion. I am a small operation. Every single delayed claim impacts my livelihood. Waiting a month for an appointment or email response is taxing--waiting SIX MONTHS for technical issues to even be responded to is not acceptable.
CentralReach For ABA Data Collection and Storage
Kommentare: I am able to record and store all my clients data easily in one safe place.
Vorteile:
I like how CentralReach systematically prompt fades as the client got closer to acheiving our behavioral targets. It was relatively simple to use and I use it for 7 hours each day so that's a huge help!
Nachteile:
Although I know that it's imperative for the system to log out after a period of pause for HIPPA reasons, however, I wish the system let you stay logged on for a bit longer since I would constantly have to re-log back in during the time I was administering DTTs.
Central Reach vs Kareo
Vorteile:
I like how user friendly this software is. I am able to track cancellations, authorizations, and the amount of remaining hours we have left on an auth very easily.
Nachteile:
The meta data does not always pull into a report.

Total Lack of Sales Integrity
Kommentare: I very much regret this purchase and am even considering making a switch AGAIN despite the high switching costs. I had a good customer success lead but she couldn't do anything to help the fact that we had a sales rep who over promised and could not deliver.
Vorteile:
Clean interface, customized forms. Pricing is okay.
Nachteile:
I finally have to review this because I am so frustrated with this software! So much was promised during the sales process and once we were well into implementation, one by one these things were denied. Additionally, as soon as you "go live" you are directed to use the support ticket function for any questions or issues, and they direct everything to an Ideas Portal which is not maintained.

Once the system is set up as desired, it makes data collection and admin duties flawless.
Nachteile:
It does take about a month give or take to go through the training and set the system as you desire.
I've been around the block!
Kommentare: CentralReach has opened up so many more avenues for our company to be able to expand and grow within the field of ABA treatment. They continue to offer more and more features and work to perfect those features. The support that comes with the system is exceptional as well! Whenever we have questions about whether we can do something or not, the answer is immediate.
Vorteile:
When I first started using CentralReach I was in a Senior level position. I will be honest that I was intimidated by all of the features and functions within CentralReach but as I began learning more and practicing within the system, I caught on quickly and easily. I was most impressed by CentralReach Learn and all of the clinical features that were available to me. From data collection options for my clients to reviewing that data collected, CentralReach made the process quick and easy for me over the traditional paper and pencil methods I was used to.
Nachteile:
Like every electronic data collection tool, there are going to be glitches in the system. When those glitches occur, they halt client sessions and sometimes client progress. Thankfully, CentralReach offers the option of printing paper data sheets in the event electronic data collection is not an immediate option (whatever the reason may be). There is also the CR Mobile application allowing for offline data collection in a pinch, which makes the pains that technology can hold at any given moment, much more bearable.
Great Customer Service, Great Product!
Kommentare: Overall, it has been a good experience switching to CentralReach throughout the past year. There have been a lot of growing pains, but we are definitely able to keep an eye on everything from intake to billing much more efficiently than before.
Vorteile:
Moving to CentralReach has had an extremely positive impact on our day-to-day operations. It is intuitive and user friendly. It can do nearly everything that our old system could not do, faster & better! They are constantly updating and improving the interface and features.
Nachteile:
Since CR is in use in a variety of states/markets/etc, if we have a specific feature request that only affects a small number of organizations, or only affects our organization, it is placed at the bottom of the development list. Which, from a business standpoint, totally makes sense and we understand, but can occasionally be frustrating if we can't find a suitable workaround while it is developed.
CR for the Win
Vorteile:
The usability of the platform is a huge benefit for this software. Navigation is easy for our users plus there are multiple ways to get to the same "end result" which is highly effective for workflows. CR's ability to have an all-inclusive product for client information, scheduling, data collection and reporting are very valuable for our business. Last but not least is the level of customer service we receive. It is TOP NOTCH especially from our Customer Success Lead!
Nachteile:
One area for improvement would be to integrate with organization's SSO via Azure AD. This has presented an obstacle for us in meeting our CIS requirements.

The ability to print notes for audits. This seems like a very difficult and time consuming task compared to our old system.
Central Reach Experience
Kommentare: My overall experience with Central Reach is very good. Excluding the cons I mentioned, the product is almost perfect and definitely on the right path.
Vorteile:
The most impactful feature that I noticed with this product is how easy it is to use. It's very user friendly and clean, with the bonus of having a regular updates and as well as quick responding customer support.
Nachteile:
The least favorite I have with this product is, every time there is a new feature added, some functions tend to get temperamental and glitchy.
Do not use for ABA data collection purposes
Kommentare: The technical difficulties combined with the very complicated user experience make this a platform I discourage ABA providers from using.
Vorteile:
The calendar views, authorization management and utilization are great to use.
Nachteile:
The process to setting up data collection for ABA providers requires a huge amount of response effort compared to other platforms like Catalyst. The procedures are so disjointed between the overall data book, the goals, importing curriculums, I work twice as hard to include relevant info. In order to be compatible with their reporting system, you have to place information at goal levels that should be at target level or enter it twice if you wish to access it logically for data analysis. The graph view does not allow for trends across anything but an entire time period (does not adjust per month or 3 month period for example), if you switch data to per week or month, goal and phase change lines disappear. You cannot view an average of data. The reports generated looked very unprofessional and you cannot alter graphs to different views unless you manually delete them and re-import. The list goes on. The CONSTANT tech issues lead to problems with session timers, saving data, trouble with rates that took months to resolve, and often a complete inability to access any necessary parts of the platform during business hours. At least 1 time per week there are issues, sometimes more. Our clients and staff pay the price for this.
CentralReach
Kommentare: Overall my experience has been pretty good with CentralReach but I have had some hiccups that have a driven me crazy.
Vorteile:
I like how easy it is to take data on each client and how easy it is to add a new goal. Nachteile:
when running a therapy session with my client in Home I use my cell phone to login via the Internet and I have to keep logging in several times over the course of the therapy session that last for several hours and feels like the software runs really slow and doesn’t always add my data. I recently had to log out and log back in several times for it to even begin to register that I was trying to take data and the session wouldn’t load properly. Seems like there are a lot of online app technical difficulties while using the program on the Internet via a Mobile device. I have also had issues with the program being able to load my session notes section properly on Saturdays. Very frustrating that on Firefox on a Mac session notes works most of the time but on a PC trying to Do session notes there’s a lot of difficulty with drop-down boxes not being activated when I know they should be and this happens frequently on a Saturday.
Dueling Data Collection Programs
Kommentare: Communication with the support team was always quick and clear, they work as quickly as possible to get their system back up and running.
Vorteile:
I love the editing ability to group goals according to therapeutic focus that session.
Nachteile:
Functionality! When the software works, it's a dream. When it doesn't, you lose everything. If there's no data, it virtually didn't happen, and programs aren't assessed appropriately.
OPINION ON CR
Vorteile:
I've been working with CentralReach for the past 9 yrs it's the one thing I recommend to all new billing companies and providers looking for a billing plateform. It has everything I need to get my job done. The only thing I would seriously look at as how it's set up to generate secondary claims. This is the one big issue I have with CentralReach, and I have several clients that have a primary and secondary insurance and this part of CentralReach has made my life very difficult! Otherwise I love it! thank you!
Nachteile:
generating secondary claims, this needs to be changed (remove the # of times a payment can be posted from the first) sometimes the claim can be denied for whatever reason but a $0 payment needs to be posted anyway.
CentralReach Review
Kommentare: CentralReach was required by my company. Once I got the hang of it, I now prefer it for its consistency and legibility. I believe I am only aware of a fraction of what the software has to offer. Sending out emails with random facts of what it provides maybe monthly could be beneficial.
Vorteile:
CentralReach is easy to navigate once you learn the basic components/strategies. It is constantly coming out with new features and trainings to ensure smooth usage.
Nachteile:
When the software is down or slowed, which is fairly often, it does not notify you with an alert stating “technical difficulties” or something of that nature so that you are aware it’s a universal glitch compared to personal complications (e.g, WiFi connection, etc.) Additionally, when you submit support tickets, sometimes there is no follow up.
So many outages it may not even be worth it.
Vorteile:
The possibility to see trends in data and to measure progress over time and create several different kinds of reports.
Nachteile:
Unreliability. This month alone there have been 6 separate times when the system has been unavailable to make progress reports or to collect data, impacting services for clients.
Central Reach is the best practice management software for the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
Kommentare: Our experience has been wonderful. We have been with CentralReach for over 5 years. I cannot imagine running our company without it. Over time, CentralReach has worked to improve and increase usability for BCBAs. Most of all, the customer service is wonderful.
Vorteile:
This software allows connectivity between all aspects of the company. Claims, timesheets, data collection, authorization management, and billing are seamlessly connected for clients and staff.
Nachteile:
The software is not easy to learn to use. This can be a barrier for new staff. Though the power of the software makes up for this and it is worth persevering to learn to use it.
Multi-state ABA Practice - 5 STARS!
Kommentare: Central Reach can manage scheduling, reporting functions, reporting functions and most importantly, billing. Their staff is passionate, knowledgeable and truly cares about their customers success. If one person does not have an answer, they will utilize their resources to find you the answer. The filtering options in their many screens is a great functionality that can help an organization get down to the nitty gritty of what is occurring. The reports that you are able to run are user friendly and top notch. The support team have been phenomenal in helping us get up to speed on new features, answers our questions promptly and is willing to go above and beyond with our requests. I highly recommend Central Reach to any and every ABA practice.

Software makes scheduling my work hours easily and converting my appointments are easy to do. Software is extremely user friendly for me who struggles with technology at times.

Central Reach pros and cons
Kommentare: After the 2-year implementation, it has been excellent.
Vorteile:
Once we finally understood how to utilize the software, it meets almost all of our needs. When audits are requested, we feel 100% confident we are in compliance.
Nachteile:
Very difficult to learn. We had to hire a single individual, just to learn and understand the software. It is not intuitive. If you do not fully understand something (e.g., giving access to contacts), you can be left wondering why things are missing.
