Great and easy system to use
Kommentare: Very positive overall - am enjoying very much using the system compared to the old one
Vorteile:
It's super easy to use, very user friendly system. The UI is a delight - modern and bright and most things are where you would expect them to be. System very rarely glitches and works even on limited wifi/internet connection. Big fan! Mobile app great.
Nachteile:
The logging in is sometimes a bit slow, and the automated emails look a bit naff - but otherwise no complaints!
A great facility for mileage/expenses management and reporting.

International traveller
Kommentare: No better or worse than anything else I've used. But there is definitely a lot of room for improvement.

Being able to photo receipts and write descriptions on the go.
Nachteile:
Reconciling against bank statements. The import feature I am aware of is incredibly picky with what it accepts in the spreadsheet, to the point I've given up doing it that way in favour of manually creating my own claim items. The platform is not available for use when there is no internet avaialble. The mobile app should have offline capabilities. Perhaps something that could be incorporated into a better interface with bank statements, as I am an international traveller, I don't like the exchange rate fields so much. I would simply prefer in a claim item to have the option for the transaction to be foreign or not (including a selection option for the local currency), and a separate field for the amount reconciled against the bank statement in the credit card's base currency. Given that I have created a rather simple python program that extracts this data from the bank statement into the following columns, I don't see why it should be difficult for webexpenses to implement: "Date, Description, Foreign Currency Value, Foreign Currency 3 letter code, GBP Value, GBP exchange fee, Cash advance fee, GBP Total"

very simple way of submitting expenses with full transparency over items to claim, approve and the status of those claims
Nachteile:
it can take quite a bit of time to do a claim submission where there are multiple items saved up over a period of time. It definitely works better as a process when you claim as an expense arises, rather than batch processing
Good, but could be even better
Kommentare: Overall, despite the niggles with the integrated map, it is an easy to use platform.
Vorteile:
Summarised expenses claims, everything seems straightforward and easy to use.
Nachteile:
I don't like the map integrated into the mileage claim section. It seems to use an outdated version of (Microsoft/Bing?) rather than Google Maps, and so will sometimes find a really random location rather than the obvious one you have put in, so you have to go back and edit it. Also the passenger mileage claim could be much better because at the moment you basically have to duplicate your claim under a slightly different setting. There ideally should be an option within the original claim to tick to say if you had any passengers, how many you had and how much this adds to the existing claim.

Good system but......
Kommentare: Overall a good product that streamlines the whole reimbursement process. Could have slight improvements with being able to draw on screen and highlight or select areas that you want to bring attention to.

Using Webexpenses to sign off expenses is fast and very easy to navigate. Easy to log in and find expenses that have been submitted.
Nachteile:
It can be cumbersome in trying to submit expenses. The loading of reciepts can be difficult sometimes depending on the format used.

Linked desktop and mobile app makes it much easier to add items to a claim than before. Uploading receipts via the mobile app automatically inputs most of the required elements and makes the process much quicker.
Nachteile:
Viewing receipts linked to an item via the desktop site can be temperamental at times.

categories, waste of paper, not environmentally friendly, deadlines all the time and when i've had a busy month is quite stressful. i process on average 20 expenses per week so i do more than most
A good suitable system
Kommentare: Great, good system ,especially as we used paper based systems before. The effort to manually add on spreadsheets was challenging

I use currently travel management for my staff team and myself. The system works perfect without faults. Customer Service is great
