Printlogic - Great value and amazing support
Kommentare: Our overall experience has been a great one. From the onboarding call(s) to the training sessions, [SENSITIVE CONTENT], and all the developers have done an amazing job of getting us set up and making it clear that they will customize as many options as possible to set things up the way we like it. We are still somewhat evaluating the software and haven't fully committed to it, but I'm confident that we can make the complete switch to PrintLogic and use it as our main MIS software to help the company run smoother.
Vorteile:
The overall design of the app is nice and clean. There is a ton of customization available and the team at PrintLogic has been unbelievable in terms of support and are always quick to respond. I have yet to see this level of service with any other company, especially not when it comes to software. They are constantly adding new features and it is clear that they truly value their customers and what they are looking for. They are quite adamant about customizing everything so that it meets our needs, despite the smaller size of our company.
Nachteile:
There are a lot of features related to offset/litho printing that do not relate to our (Mostly wide-format vinyl/sign printing) industry, and some features & wording are not required or useful. I understand that this software is geared towards several different printing industries but it would be nice to have the option to remove all features and wording related to offset/litho printing. There are some quirks when it comes to material calculations but we're still in the early stages of setting it up and user error is usually the cause for most of our confusion. Exporting the data so it can be brought into Quickbooks Desktop has been a bit confusing, but I'm confident that we can get it sorted out. Direct integration with QBD would be nice but I understand they can't possibly cover all the possible integrations that clients might need.
PRINTLOGIC REVIEW
Kommentare: I have found the programme very easy to use. It exports the invoices into Sage, which helps with time management for our book keeper and eliminates the mistakes from manual entry. The reports are invaluable for marketing, so sales can see chase up quotes that have not been taken up, and chase clients who have not ordered for a certain period of time.
Vorteile:
It is easy to use, generates many reports to aid with the running of the business and you can have bespoke reports created.. We have had one created we use at the end of the month showing all the jobs that have not yet been invoiced to ensure we invoice all the jobs we have produced that month.
Nachteile:
When you amend a small item of a quote you are working on it changes everything and can adjust the price that you had worked out completely. You can work around this, but need to be aware of it.
Usage of Print Logic System
Kommentare: Overall, Printlogic is actually a convenient and powerful. It is easer to track our orders from customer and details, however, our company is still adjusting the features. I use printlogic for job tracking only.
Vorteile:
The most impactful feature is one job can be access to all departments, we can track status, costing and project management. Easy access to get Job Sheet as well.
Nachteile:
Time sheet is convenient however the we as a user cannot give remarks to explain to our analyst and we cannot view or print the time sheet for review purpose. It would be an ease if Printlogic have this feature. We have to get access from website as well, I would like to suggest Printlogic to have an apps that can work on phone and computer for a much better access.

Kommentare: Very good. Coming from Tharstern most operations are seemless.

Kommentare: Overall, Printlogic is integral to our business. It helps us keep organized and manage projects, estimates and billing.
Vorteile:
Relatively inexpensive for team use, relatively low learning curve, browser based, responsive support staff
Nachteile:
There are certain features that could be improved on, most of all the production manager could be tweaked to be more user friendly. While many things have customization options, more could be added on front end, rather than requiring support staff to implement. Client facing documents (statements, invoices, estimates) could use a facelift and more customization options.

Printlogic is very easy to use in all areas, very helpful company with plenty of customer support, if something needs to be changed or any suggestion given to make thing best fit my company going forward, Printlogic are always willing to help and look into these areas for me.Along the way over the last 7 years they have always tried to help with any improvement suggestions I have made to make the system more personal to me and my Company.
Nachteile:
Their are not many negatives with printlogic in the areas I use within the software, little things like when changing the contact name to whom the estimate needs to be sent to, if I need to go back into the description to change something it reverts back to the default contact but this is just a small thing and I am sure Printlogic would look at locking this if I asked.Not may negatives really i can find about the software, very happy with the system in general.
The right software for the right time

It is built by printers for printers so totally gets what we need.
Nachteile:
As we changed our business model to a creative full marketing agency we needed to migrate to a software package that was built for that sector. If we stayed in print we would have stayed with Printlogic.

After Covid and a general change in the direction of the business we were looking for a system that worked better over the web than our existing supplier. Printlogic were very good at making it fit our business.

Printers dream
Kommentare: enjoyable and a stress reliever.

Ease of use, takes a bit to setup but a lot easier than something like Printsmith which we've used in the past.

as cloud based you get the odd glitch but nothing that hurts overall experience

The Mobile Comms (iPhone) interface not user friendly, needs looking depending on costs. I can live with it. Printlogic at the moment is value for money a massive USP.

Kommentare: Fantastic. The support staff are so helpful they really work at a high level

Very easy to use and set up. We handle lots of small value orders and Print Logic is very quick and effortless to generate orders

The only part of Printlogic I dont like is that on the order screen I wish you could see all the most recent orders rather than a few of the latest and then some older ordersAlso in the quote screen it would be good to see the quantity and price of the quote without having to physically open up each quote but these are very minor points
SPC & Printlogic
Kommentare: Printlogic has enabled us to quote some work alot quicker, we can talk to clients over the phone and quote them items in minutes, where it took much longer with out old sotfware.
Vorteile:
We moved from Imprint to Printlogic, originally looked to save money on our current system. PrintLogic had a lot of features that appealed to us from Management Reports to quick and easy estimating and job tickets.It took quite a while to get the software to a point where we could go operational. And the support team also managed in upload our legacy data too, meaning we still have some information for our previous software.
Nachteile:
Originally there were a couple of bugs, that soon got ironed out through talking to support.We do not like that we have to request changes to templates via the support team.if more information of data fields were available we could tailer our own templates for dockets, forms and stationery for the product alot easier.
1-2 Years of using Printlogic
Kommentare: We're a small print shop who struggled with managing orders that were in house as well as keeping track of orders for reordering purposes. Before Printlogic, all jobs were kept in a poorly organized filing cabinet which made reorders incredibly difficult to find. Now I can process someone's reorder within a matter of minutes!
Vorteile:
I love the order tracking, the work in progress organization feature and the preload function.
Nachteile:
Sometimes there are more glitches than I would like (a screen going blank, refreshing errors, webpage crashes).
As a POS/presentation box manufacturer/trade finisher we have had the software adapted to suit.
Vorteile:
We are currently using the works order and invoicing modules, and will progress to purchasing in the next few months. Information on job status and relevant documentation such as delivery notes and invoices are easily accessible. The ability to email these documents plus other attachments is very useful. Copying previous works orders to create new orders, and the ability to switch the information over to another customer is straight forward. Numerous reports are available covering all aspects of Sales, Production and Accounts.
Nachteile:
The software is primarily designed for printers, and as a finisher/POS and box maker we have had to adapt to system to work for us. For a user, some of the operations are not intuitive. Printers tend to use job lot pricing and orders are usually made and delivered in 1 lot. We use job lot pricing, but also per 1,000, and each, which the system does not cater for. We also deliver some jobs over a period of months and so require part invoicing, and on some work will charge for overs, or reduce the cost of the job is short. The system does not cater for this, and although there are ways around this problem, it requires more input by the administrator. For example, if a job is entered as 20,000 copies @ £2000 i.e. £100 per 1,000 and only 18,000 are produced, we would invoice @ £1800. To do this the order quantity needs to be amended to 18,000, otherwise, when completed the invoice would be produced @ £2000. This however leaves the customer record at 18,000 ordered which is incorrect. With regard to the estimating, we do not currently use this module as it does not lend itself to our operation. This will take considerable adaptation to work for predominantly bespoke sizes of materials products and the various pricing structures we use.
Easy to set up and use
Kommentare: Overall the sysytem has proved valuable and helped modernise and speed up processes over the last few years but now we are starting to get to a point where it may no loger suit our needs.
Vorteile:
The setup was easy and painless with the help of the Printlogic team. The inclusive training and simple to use system is a no brainer!
Nachteile:
The lack of API and the ability to interact with other software is dispointing, trying to grwo the business means expanding thesysytems you have and the need for them to comunicate and automate with each other. Also the lack of flexability when simple requirments like adding colour or buttons to highlight urgent jobs. The scheduling sysytem is dificult to use so we dont use it. The inofrmation calculated by the sysytem for paper quantity and time to run jobs is not accurate or relaible.
