Kommentare: We needed a solution that, first and foremost, would allow us to keep our member data in house. Over the past six or so years we've gone from under 10k delivery every two weeks to nearly a million emails per month on chunks from a few hundred recipients up to over 100k per blast. Being able to connect to a variety of big system databases as well as build quick ad-hoc lists for emergency e-blasts (without sharing our data) has been hugely helpful and not something you find in many higher-end systems. Not paying a per-email fee was also a huge benefit. The customer service has been excellent including a fairly severe bug being patched/released in less than 24 hours. I don't expect that kind of service every time, but it was the first time *any* company has been that responsive. The upgrade from version 6 -7 went smoothly and I've come to like using the new version. We have to refresh/correct data in our ad-hoc data lists frequently and they sped this process up immensely. The system interface can be little quirky, but in general is fairly easy to learn. You may need some geeky staff to connect to external databases and I always recommend having some basic knowledge of HTML to be able to fix strange formatting. For some users and some applications, going with some other web-based, ultra idiot-proof product may still be a better option, but buyer beware. Some of those cool products are "free," but you give up control of your data and "free" often turns into "OMG" as your company grows. We also needed a system where we could use our own templates and HTML coding. I haven't used their new templates, so I can't comment on that aspect. I have tried to "upgrade to another product" a few times in the past, but no other vendor has a system that allows such great flexibility with data ... and the price is very reasonable. It is certainly worth trying. (And no, I'm not paid to say any of this. I rarely feel strongly enough to review a product, but for our needs, I'm that impressed and unlike some of our vendors, this company hasn't been bought/sold a dozen times!)

Quickly load small "one-off" databases
Connect to big SQL databases elsewhere in the organization
I like that in version 7, you can set up a client/server based workflow. This helps keep different folks isolated from the main system.
Does *not* charge per email. That is unusual in this day and age and can be HUGE.

Nachteile: There are simpler, online solutions if that's what you need. Not everyone wants to install software on their own systems.
If you want to run it with multiple users in a server configuration, you may need some technical know how. That's not a con, really, just a heads up.

Kommentare: We are an IT solutions company like you, but in the field of accounting and payroll applications. And believe it or not, we are using EasyMail7 not for marketing and sales, but for another purpose... It is only of late that several of our clients in payroll wanted to have their payslips to employees emailed instead of printed and distribute ("going green"), thus, we were tasked service them thru handling of the emailing of payslips to the 500-600 employees twice a month (so I need to attached specific files to each employee) That's when we tried to develop and integrate our program with a utility that would email the generated pdf payslips from our system automatically. the program can send email, but unfortunately, we didn't anticipate that if bulk emails are sent, other problems like "SPAM" detection, locking of accounts in yahoo or gmail would occur... If we didn't find a solution fast, we would need to send each payslip manually one by one. Due to time constraint I had to look for an alternative, though we need to have some manual intervention... that's where I came across G-Lock's EasyMail7. We saw that the features and functionalities of your software simply fitted my requirements from the get go. But frankly, what truly made this purchase a "no brainer" was not only the software itself, but more because of the patient, efficient and tireless support that I experienced with one of your technical support experts - Ms. Julia Gulevich... and I'm truly still amazed at the high level of support that G-Lock provides - what a life saver, imagine all the man-hours saved just to send individual employees one by one 500 of them!

Honestly, without her expert assistance in setting up not only for EasyMail 7, but also for third party softwares Mandrill and Amazon Web Services (she even went to the extent of using remote access software Teamviewer to support me - which was beyond the call of her duty), I would not have fully appreciated the power and flexibility of EasyMail 7. To think that I am only in a trial version... What more if I were already a paying customer, right?

Now I am a very very happy user of EasyMail7... and I am able to give good service to my client as well is so gratifying!

Thank you for such a great product, and an equally great support service!

Vorteile: The best thing is the various data sources you can use to get your mailing list from. I use both csv and ODBC and it works perfectly.

Nachteile: I do not have any problems with this software.

Kommentare: We've tried a few of the name brand email marketing applications and decided to use G-Lock Easy Mail, simply because of the Analytics Tracking Software. Knowing how many emails were opened, who opened them, what time they were opened, and what links they clicked on is invaluable information. Having this information has enabled us to fine-tune our email campaigns and get more value out of our lists. For example knowing what time most of the emails were opened has helped define the best times to send specific email campaigns. I would feel like we would be running "blind" if we did not know if anyone was reading our marketing emails. I don't think we could operate without G-Lock Easy Mail and G-Lock Analytics now. These applications are solid and the customer support is excellent. Any questions or issues we have had were answered or resolved well within 24 hours and sometimes immediately if someone was in the office. I would highly recommend any of the G-Lock software applications to anyone wanting to get to the next level of email marketing.

Finally i have found the perfect bulk mail software!

Kommentare: I have been throwing money away year after year with Mad Mimi, Constant Contact etc. Finally i discover Amazon SES. Low cost ($1 per 10,000 emails sent) and ultra high deliverability. So all i needed was an app to connect to Amazon SES to send my emails from, manage my contacts, bounces, unsubscribes etc. G-LOCK Easymail7 has answered all my prayers. Email design / html importing: Easy.
Contact management: Piece of cake.
Bounce handling: Flawless.
Most importantly it is a stand alone app that does not require you to install on your web server. For example, Go Daddy do not support a wordpress bulk mailing solution. So using this stand alone application takes care of any of those possible issues. It's just you, easymail and amazon ses. I have had a few technical niggles due to me setting it up incorrectly at the beginning but every time Julia and the team have assisted me promptly and successfully. After sales support is so important. These guys have it in abundance. I thoroughly recommend this software. Does everything you need and the Customer Service is unbeatable. Go get it!
