Reftab is a great package what creates and gives ease of use of asset management. It's structured and clear.
Nachteile:
I'm missing some features such as bulk transfer or bulk assign to user but that's quite it, further it's quite neatly build!

Hi Lucien, thank you for the review - the ability to bulk assign to a user exists in a couple different places, such as the asset table and the mobile app. Meaning you can assign multiple different assets and peripherals / accessories to users at once. I think the place you're looking for is within the accessory page. This is easy for us to add and will have it ready for our next release. Thank you again for your review!

Kommentare: I really believe that this service should be as well known as the most popular solutions, and it really deserves to be.
Vorteile:
Quite simply, the developers are so responsive, that issues and suggestions are acted upon and that makes such a difference to the product today. The flexibility of fields and categories means that it could fit all possible use cases. The self service portal is really handy and user friendly. Settings are plentiful so you can get things as close as you can to how you want it. It's simple, yet powerful and has so so much potential. We were looking at the better known alternatives whilst testing reftab as there were a few niggles and add-on which should be as part of the standard package (when compared to competitors) but this is all resolved and I'm really glad we stuck by it.
Nachteile:
Reporting is a little lacklustre, it is basically a filter and that's about it. It would be good to see formatted, client friendly reports, as well as checkout receipts, packing lists, hire terms and other handy supplementary paperwork. The accessories feature could do with a bit of TLC as it feels like there is a lot of potential, but doesn't quite integrate with the rest of the ecosystem properly yet. I think the logo looks like a push chair!
Good Value for the Money and has just the right amount of features for our business
Kommentare: While I did encounter a decent number of problems during the initial set up and deployment the product support is responsive and you will not wait around for a response. The bugs that I did find were either taken care of within a couple of days or an estimate was given as to when we could expect a fix.

Very easy to use. Great support. Love the fact that we were able to trial a fully featured version which ensured the software would meet our needs. Have been using the software for about a year and even within this time there have been updates making the software even better.

Inventory Management Lifesaver!
Vorteile:
Reftab is incredibly easy to setup, implement, use, and customize but the most standout feature of this product is the impeccable customer service. Lightning fast responses and willingness to implement fixes for our edge use cases among other great support has earned our loyalty!
Nachteile:
Reftab is geared toward assets that will be checked in/out while we use it as a way to manage customer assets that we've deployed in a permanent fashion so there have been some workarounds that we've had to implement, but the software tracking that's included more than makes up for any slight inconvenience. We're managing/tracking our certificates easier than ever with Reftab, too.

My overall experience has been great. We have used other systems in the past and they clashed with our systems or became over complicated to update.
I feel confident that Reftab have got this covered.
Recently I had an issue that was resolved very quickly and professionally.
Vorteile:
It was easy to set up with the support team helping me, when I got stuck they were always quick to resolve any issues. I find it easy to use and run reports. They are always developing and trying to improve. We don't use it to its full potential yet but I am confident that in the future we will. Its a great product in my opinion as I like to keep things simple to make life easier.
Nachteile:
There is not much I don't like to be honest. I sometimes find it frustrating when trying to look items up but that is more down to me not using it enough.
Reftab review for medical outreach
Kommentare: RefTab is a plug and play option for companies wanting more control over their asset management. It was simple to understand and onboard our team. I highly recommend the trial option for anyone who wants to try out this option. It's very intuitive.
Vorteile:
We started using RefTab to help support the development of our humanitarian trips and found it to be a critical key to increasing our capacity. The ease of onboarding was a #1 priority and I was able to search for everything I needed to set up. The import functions were also very, very easy to use and helped tremendously.
Nachteile:
I don't have any cons at the moment. We did not pay for the highest level so maintenance options are slim. I would like more of that.
Great ITAM solution
Vorteile:
Reftab was super easy to setup and get going. Once the initial setup was done, Education on using Reftab was simple and easy so we were able to get up and running very quickly. Use of the smart phone app makes keeping track of our assets simple, very well done app!
Nachteile:
the only Con I can think of is that it would be nice if Reftab had an asset "tag" we could attach to "non-connected" devices such as TVs as a way for it to automaticilly update, like the installed agent does for Windows devices

Solid product at a great price point
Kommentare: Reftab has been one of the best products we've implemented at Lexer. Super simple to set up, we primarily use Reftab to keep track of our laptop hardware and its overall lifecycle within the business. Reftab comes with a robust set of reporting tools and integrations. Well worth the price point

Great asses management tool
Kommentare: It has been great. I tested several products before picking this one and I made the right choice.
Vorteile:
The ability to track anything as an asset, and link accessories to the asset.
Nachteile:
So far none. The only downside was exporting the computers from my RMM tool with user accounts there wasnt a way I could find to import to Reftab with the user. I had to manually assign all of the assets. Just time consuming but not a big deal.

Best Program on the Market
Kommentare: The experience with Reftab has been fantastic, from the program to the management team. Everyone has been so helpful and flexible to tailor the program to work best for us. I would recommend this program to anyone who is looking to track all their assets have automated reports sent out.
Vorteile:
The user interface is simple and easy to work with. Made it so much easier to locate assets that have been signed out to employees and track the usage. It was an easy transition for employees to start using the program and the training aspect was fast and easy. Reporting is fantastic by getting notifications of who has not turned in something.
Nachteile:
I don’t have any Cons on the software because if I do find something missing the Reftab team is always available to try to find a way to get us what we are looking for.

Brilliant tool for a small non-profit trying to keep track of loaned items
Kommentare: Love it. Previously we were trying to keep track of assets in a manual spreadsheet. Our assets are expensive cameras and are donated (or funded by public donations) and are loaned out for free (with no deposits) so having easy tracking is a must. Didn't know exactly what we needed or how to set up so just started (really easy) with the default fields and this product has the flexibility to add fields as I was going along, or change things at a later date. Haven't yet used the "request custody validation" but think this will help us at year end to double check where our loan cameras are. Great product and would recommend. Thank you Reftab.

Easy asset management
Kommentare: We have been able to move our asset loan system from a very messy shared google calendar system to Reftab, it has reduced individual workload and enabled more independence in making planning choices for asset loans across our organisation. We have also been able to significantly grow the amount of assets that we have available for loan as the management and tracking of the items is a lot more efficient.
Vorteile:
The software makes it extremely easy for multiple users to be able to log in and see what assets are available to be loaned and make reservations for them as required. We were looking for a solution that would allow many users to access the information centrally and this does it beautifully.
Nachteile:
The pre-determined access levels are the most challenging with the software, but we have found ways to work around this. We can't easily set access to specific sections and views, as this is a bit limited. Any issues or improvements we have, we make suggestions to the team at Reftab, and if they think it is beneficial, will roll out the change in an update to accommodate the request.

Great inventory management system

Again it's really about friendliness and folks that believe in their product.
[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], one of the founders, gave us a nice demo, highlighting features of how Reftab can work for us. At the end of the presentation, he was willing to come up with a package that would best suit the needs of our nonprofit.
I am the one to set up the inventory management system and corresponding lending library that will be used my many employees in the future. The software is intuitive where I can figure out a lot on my own. Sometimes I would look for help in the documentation, and there are also times I have discussions with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] about certain questions or things that will come up in the future.
It's been a great experience so far, and I'm sure any company will have a good time with Reftab too.

There is a lot to like about Reftab. It has a modern look and feel. It's software as a service, so there is nothing to download or install. It's quite easy to use, but it's recommended to at least look through the documentation. And the founders are always willing to help.
Nachteile:
There is nothing not to like. But you must take time to learn how it works via documentation and experimentation.
Reftab is Worth It
Kommentare: The Reftab team was extremely responsive to our inquiries and concerns. They made multiple immediate changes to design flaws we recognized. The system is streamlined and allows for configuration to your organization's needs. The price was extremely competitive. I would entirely recommend Reftab to anyone looking for an asset management system.
Vorteile:
The best thing about this software, and why we original started using it, was its integration with JIRA, our ticketing system. Integration was seamless and gave us great insight into diagnosing issues with specific hardware.
Nachteile:
It's intend use is to check out hardware on a "by user" basis. We have business office managers at our various locations who control and manage all hardware at the location. Since they could not assign hardware to them in the portal, we had to allow each advanced access, which allowed them access to areas we didn't want them to have.
Good and totally worth the money

Would be great if they can add order tracking module (on the other hand, not many asset management systems have it). Mobile app isn't good in scanning qr/bar-codes sometimes.
Stockholm Repairyard review
Kommentare: We think it's really good, but have problems with the location problem.
Vorteile:
We here at Stockholm Repairyard are very happy about using Reftab. Now we can localise which house IT equipments are and the the information about the product.
Nachteile:
We at Stockholm Repairyard prefer to view our location images via the web application rather than the phone. We would also like to add photos from the location from the phone when we can only see it. We believe it would be preferable to be able to add and view photos from mobile devices. It would be easier to see locations on the web application if you could only add pictures but not see them; we think this is kind of stupid.
Ideal tracking software
Kommentare: We needed a product to keep track of our inventory of Ipods used by our housekeeping staff. We looked at other products from free to the overly tech heavy software. We just wanted something simple to use and to know when the equipment is in use and by whom. This product really filled our needs. Any questions we have are quickly addressed. We don't use half the features they offer, but if we ever do its nice to know they are there.
Vorteile:
The simplicity of the product in setting up, training staff to use was quick and easy to use. Tech support is awesome.
Nachteile:
We've been using the product for about 8 months and so far we don't have any complaints.
Customizable & Versatile!

This software adapted well to fit our needs in organizing our tool crib. I liked how we could create kits combining any amount of assets and accessories, and create fields to store types of data. Nicely designed.
Nachteile:
Limited with attachments, no photo option for a completed kit.

The Customer Service at Reftab is unbeatable. I am new to my Department and had issues with access. I had help within a few hours and they stuck with me until my problem was resolved.
Nachteile:
I have no complaints. Reftab is easy to use and works great for tracking instruments in our Department.
Brilliant Asset Tracking and Management Software

The ease of setup and use. It has a good feature list which is growing based on customer feedback which in my opinion is the best way to enhance the product.
Nachteile:
The range of labels supported is a little disappointing but they are adding additional labels going forward.
