Kommentare: Flowers are still paramount when it comes to nonverbal communication. With FTD software, your choices are endless for every mood, situation or occasion. What makes FTD work is the service options offered meets the emotional and social needs of its customers. The arrangements may not always meet the exact expectation but it is the next best thing to being there.


What I like most about ordering flowers on line through FTD is the convenience. I can almost always find the right flowers for any special occasion with just a click. FTD offers several upgrades from basic to premium which gives you a visual if you are considering to spend more or less. The plant food that accompanies every arrangement is a plus.


What I like least about FTD is the difficulty in determining the accurate height and width of the flower arrangements. The pictures do not always give an accurate height and width measurement. You can spend $100 and still receive an arrangement less than 8" in height which is very disappointing. Also. the boxes are not easy to open. The way the flowers are packaged can cause a loss of buds when unpacking. Extra greenery would help soften the loss even if the greenery is offered for a small fee. If you receive a flower box and you are away from home, where are you going to get scissors or pliers to open the box? The floral pictures are stunningly beautiful but what you see is not always what you get.

There is not much about this software that I like. The only thing I think I really like about it is that you can recieve multiple online orders that you might not have gotten otherwise.


The customer service is terrible with the "middle men" of the orders knowing nothing about flowers, prices, delivery times, and they often try to cheet you with the price and what they are asking for. My florist would always require the "middle men" to send a written attatchment over the DOVE POS or otherwise, like a wire-in, so that they could not claim we sent something they did not want. Also, the processing of the orders had way too many steps and wasted a lot of time.

Able to integrate with FTD orders if you are a member. IT support is good and has always fixed issues.


You have to sign a huge contract to get this software and you are then locked into the software and you may find it very difficult to get out of it if you change your mind. The fees are not just with the POS itself they charge for stuff they should not be charging you for like they charge extra dollars for antivirus or backup services, IT support, etc. The statement is so hard to understand you will be confused to know what services you are paying for and they are not optional. The UI is very confusing and it takes a number of hours to train a new hire to understand it. There are many rules to it and too many section to get something done. Don't bother trying to train someone who is not very proficient with computers.

Kommentare: Don't sign up with a wire order service! its just not worth the headache.


The system is easy to use and integrates with other wire systems. They offer credit card processing, delivery tracking, as well as other florist tools so that everything is integrated, of course all are at an additional initial cost and monthly cost.


You can't use POS or website without a membership with their wire service which is ridiculously expensive. They charge you a membership fee (per month) plus 7% of the order plus 20% goes to the sending florist plus a ton of additional fees that are not optional. You have to buy their vases and be coded for it or you don't get orders. You receive maybe 5 orders a day.You pay late fees for any orders delivered after 530 but keep in mind same day orders come until 3pm. Plus, if there is a problem with the order, FTD can cancel the order without trying to resolve it. And on top of all that they continuously sell you additional options like more zipcodes and before you know it you are paying thousands a month and your average per order doesn't cover the delivery fee or the flowers and vase and now you are working hard and making negative profit. Oh, and lets not forget. If you cancel, you have to wait 4 months, they stop sending you orders and you get a bill in the thousands when you are done.

It's not bad, but it's not life-changing.

Kommentare: I would say the software is on par with Dove POS HOWEVER, it is definitely more organized and focused than its competitor. Again, it is not life-changing software, but I would definitely take it over Dove POS.


We've been using the free trial, and while it is SOMEWHAT user-friendly, I was happy with the calls being placed whenever we would get an order. I do like that it rejects an order if has not been acknowledged within 30-60 minutes, however, that can also work to your disadvantage at times.


I think the software is mediocre at best, but I think florists shouldn't have to pay extra to have their super tickets printed out/formatted. I was trying to integrate it on another platform I have, but it doesn't work. Either way,
