Helpful product for scaling up operations.

Vorteile:

It has been very reliable in terms of service providing and quality management. The features of Arena QMS stand out in performance compared to rest of the products.

Nachteile:

They are a bit on costlier side and have to show empathy during customer support.

Arena QMS real review

Kommentare: I've been using Arena for over 15years and it's the best PLM & QMS system I've encountered

Vorteile:

Centralized location for all BOM, changes and file related things especially when it comes to working with overseas contract manufacturers

Nachteile:

costs are high for enterprises. I hope there are ways to lower the costs

QMS is lacking

Vorteile:

At least it is not a paper based system.

Nachteile:

It is not user friendly at all. Searches are confusing, and notifications are confusing. Circulating documents through Arena is a hassle.

Feedback with my experience with use Arena QMS

Kommentare: Overall I like to use Arena QMS system for documentation process.

Vorteile:

Easy to use and easy to learn, powerful fast Search.

Nachteile:

Search could be more easier and better filtering.

Ease of Use for Users

Kommentare: Big improvement from our previous QMS system, smooth implementation from user perspective. Look forward to learning more about Arena.

Vorteile:

It's breadth of capabilities, customizing of Dashboard, ability to save search filters.

Nachteile:

Not auto-populating in Dashboard fields. I.E. if you click into "Training", only recently visited Trainings appear, not necessarily all that are outstanding for the user.

Arena QMS Review

Kommentare: I like it a lot! I haven't had much experience with other QMS systems but Arena was mostly intuitive and I've helped improve our company's utilization of the various features.

Vorteile:

I like the ease of adding items to/from DCOs, implementing changes, document storage, and item creation.

Nachteile:

Adding items to BOMs should be the same mechanism as adding to DCOs (can input multiple search queries then add all to BOM) some functions are harder to find intuitively (import/export functions or certain comparisons) so more free resources for workers on more advanced Arena activities would be great.

Q.S Perspective

Vorteile:

We like the BOM management. When something in the BOM changes, it's easy to track.

Nachteile:

Document Management and Cost. It can be expensive

GOOD QMS with some issues to QAD

Vorteile:

All documentation in one platform, Sorting and searching made easy

Nachteile:

Work order and material sync up with other platforms is a problem and hassle to deal with

Arena QMS eval

Vorteile:

It is easy to implement and is very powerful.

Nachteile:

The way licensing is setup. I would love it a lot more if it was priced per logged in user and not named user.

Easy to Setup and Use

Vorteile:

Easy to configure and usability has significantly improved over the years as well as improved validation. Also easy to link items for complete traceability

Nachteile:

Some more flexibility for configuring the Quality world and updates.

Vorteile:

Quality module is the most like function what i used. like the nonconforming material control connect with CAPA, and easily to update the layout.

Nachteile:

File no. and Document no. Item no. confused people.

A Game-Changing Solution

Kommentare: This is a huge tool to use for the product and regulatory requirements compliance and especially to prove this compliance to the authorities.

Vorteile:

The configuration possibilities that allows to complies with a Quality Management System.The compliance to the FDA requirements for records management, electronic signatures etc...

Nachteile:

To improve the follow up of the actions, it should be useful to follow tasks individually in quality processes. e.g. Corrective and Preventives Actions

Kommentare: Quite good

Vorteile:

Good tool to store data and information. Very good for PPAP

Nachteile:

Sometimes loading data takes a lot of time.

Arena PLM more than eQMS

Kommentare: Has worked well for contract manufacturers. Ease to keep multiple clients defined

Vorteile:

Arena BOM management and change control are outstanding.

Nachteile:

Reporting. No out of the box dashboard. Analytics is not intuitive.

Arena QMS Review by non-technical User

Kommentare: My customer is able to notify me of process changes and updates easily, and we are able to gather the necessary details and implement changes.

Vorteile:

Arena QMS is very user friendly for non-technical users. It is easy to locate items, changes and such with the powerful search tool provided. I enjoy the user interface.

Nachteile:

It seems like BOM searches time out and take a long time during busy times of day.

Test documentation Review for Medical Devices

Kommentare: Overall Arena is a great tool that eliminates paper and performs the transactions electronically and saves a lot of time for all the employees.

Vorteile:

Creation of items, uploading and routing for reviews are at high ease.

Nachteile:

the searching query can be better because currently, we can only search with items that are definite. We need to remember them.

Proud customer for fifteen years

Kommentare: For a decade and a half the various modules and services of Arena PLM have been at the hub of my engineering activities. At multiple companies and across several industries this software has been able to deliver powerful, enterprise level cloud-based lifecycle management solutions in a reliable and user friendly manner, and I am amazed by the quality of support. As far as I'm concerned, Arena is one of my core suites in ANY venture, the one quantity I can depend on because it just *works*.

Vorteile:

The sheer flexibility and ease of use, combined with a low barrier to entry and learning curve. Combine that with both desktop and mobile accessibility and you have a best-in-class offering.

Nachteile:

There are a couple of feature enhancements that I've been waiting for a while now, but I also recognize that 1) there are workarounds for those missing elements that are functional, just not pretty and 2) Arena support has shown a clear track record of listening and responding to customer feedback, so I'm fairly confident I'll see those new addons someday.

Great PLM and BOM system that integrates well

Kommentare: Arena is a great tool for any company and makes it easy to share BOMs, parts, and lifecycle for entire product families.

Vorteile:

The BOM and Part system are great. It is easy to do ECOs and have Arena integrate with ERP systems such as SAP.

Nachteile:

There is not much that I do not like. I think the module that could be improved is the Quality module to be more of a workflow, but it could also be that our use-case is not very standard.

Admin/Doc Control Review

Kommentare: My overall experience is pretty good. I would prefer the training aspect and out of office to have more flexibility however.

Vorteile:

It works pretty well for processing change orders and searching is pretty simple.

Nachteile:

There is no out of office function to pause training due dates for employees with an extended out of office. When I reached out to Arena support, I was told that there is no function for out of office and I was not given any timeline for when that function will be added. I have used MasterControl and when I have to change training due dates in Arena, there is no option to include a comment when I have to change a user's training due date. Mastercontrol asks for comments whenever you edit.

Excellent PLM System!

Kommentare: Going from an access database and manual ECO system to ARENA was a change that provided so many benefits. Our ECO turn around time decreased, we were able to make changes to parts and various BOMs quicker and easier. Changes made to parts/BOMs are fully traceable and the changes are available on ARENA via redlines.
The various quality modules provided us with a more streamlined approach to CAPAs, NMRs and Device Returns.
Our purchasing function has improved as access to necessary files is all provided via ARENA.
Overall the ARENA PLM System is very user friendly and a very powerful tool.

Vorteile:

The change module, items module, and quality module, ease of use, and customer service at ARENA

Nachteile:

No cons at this time.

Arena QMS Features

Vorteile:

Search options are very helpful; file associations are useful; BOM redline feature is very useful; being able to bookmark documents and the dashboard are also very useful features

Nachteile:

Accessing some functions is neither obvious nor intuitive - for example being able to sign off as a document approver is not easily accessible

Easy to use QMS software

Vorteile:

User friendly, I have used other software before and Arena is the most user friendly one.

Nachteile:

I have only started using Arena for 3 weeks (since I have joined this company) and I like it so far. Don't have any dislike yet.

Kommentare: User-friendly. As a person who has never used Arena, it was very easy to use and navigate with little training.

Vorteile:

Ability to compare BOM differences. Easy to track engineering changes/revisions

Nachteile:

I have not had any issues using Arena QMS
