The Medfusion Patient Portal has been an extremely useful tool to use in our practice.
Kommentare: Well, it helped us achieve Meaningful use and now MIPS. It keeps us HIPPA compliant when we need to send clinical information to our patients, it streamlines refill requests (relieving telephone volume).
Vorteile: The Patient portal is an extremely useful tool for the patients, doctors & staff. It has also contributed to us meeting Meaningful Use & now MIPS. Patients can request refills to nurse, ask general questions to staff and more. We can send clinical notes & lab reports automatically or on demand and it is HIPPA compliant . We also use it for sending email blasts to our patients with updates on our practice and even urgent office closure. It works hand & hand with our EMR system. Great tool.

Terrible patient portal compared to others
Kommentare: Need to know that a request was received and physician office will respond within a 24 hour period. I.e. send an email back that it was sent and accepted.
Vorteile: Able to log in and hopefully see information, and documents. Sadly they are never there when you want to view.
Nachteile: Limited subject line, and needs better flow of reviewing records. Should have more characters for subject. Have to put in message

Terrible Customer Service
Kommentare: I would not recommend working with this company. They were a good company when they first started but it has been downhill ever since and seems to be getting worse
Vorteile: We have a patient portal and we have had one for some time. The price was better compared to other companies.
Nachteile: Customer Service is never available and it is difficult to contact anyone. The forms are not very attractive either.
