Easy hiring tool for all employees to use.
Great tool in general - room to improve .. to make it more user friendly and intuitive

Ich arbeite jetzt schon seit über 6 Jahre mit der Software. Es hat sich einiges getan und es ist generell ein gutes Tool. Allerdings für Manager, die nicht täglich damit arbeiten, ist es oft nicht super Customer Friendly. Es ist nicht wirklich intuitiv gestaltet.
Self scheduling etc. ist super hilfreich im daily business.
Vorteile:
Das Arbeiten mit dem Dashboard macht das Review von Kandidaten einfacher. Hier hat man alle Details, Application Questions und CV in einem Fenster. Man kann die Bewerbungsprozess gut customizen.
Nachteile:
Das neue Interface hat seine Vor-und Nachteile. ABER - was könnte geändert werden: Es ist für viele Hiring Manager schwer, die wichtigen Details auf den ersten Blick zu finden. Application Questions muss man immer separat anklicken, damit sie komplett angezeigt werden. Hier sind wichtige Infos enthalten, wie Wohnort, Salary Expectations und Visa etc. Zusätzlich steht jetzt nicht mehr im Profil Überblick direkt "Resume" zum anklicken - hat sich wieder durch ein Icon ersetzt. Beim Offer Making wäre es super, wenn man nicht nur ein Dokument anklicken kann, um es an Kandidaten rauszuschicken. Wenn ein Dokument in einem anderen Ordner auf dem PC abgelegt ist, ist es nicht möglich meherer Anhänge zu machen. Es muss immer alles in einem Ordner hinterlegt sein, um mehrere Dokumente anzuklicken und anzuhängen. Zusätzlich wäre es besser, wenn man auch eine Schnittstelle zu Google Workspace hätte und nicht nur Microsoft. Die Anbindung an Karrierewebsiten ist sehr schwer. Zusätzlich ist das Layout der Greenhouse Job Seite selber nicht schön. Hierzu braucht man immer ein Development Team, um etwas zu ändern. Hier wäre es schöner, wenn es gewisse Layout Bausteine gäbe, die das Recruiting /HR Team selbst nutzen kann, um die Seite mehr an das Branding der Firma anzulehnen.
In Betracht gezogene Alternativen: Personio
Gründe für den Wechsel zu Greenhouse: Kosten der Software waren noch etwas niedriger als bei Personio. Zusätzlich hatte ich schon in der vorherigen Company mit Greenhouse gearbeitet.
Gute Basis, hat noch Luft nach oben was Usability angeht

Vorteile:
Am besten gefällt mir die kollaborativen Ansätze zum gemeinsamen Ausfüllen von Bewertungen vor/nach der Gespräche
Nachteile:
Manchmal kommt man durcheinander wo man welche Notiz mit Tag gelassen hat, weil es einen Funnel gibt und eine gesamte Liste
Good ATS for any team
Kommentare: Overall, I think it's a great ATS. Super easy to use, has a great rundown of features.
Vorteile:
- user interface - ease of use - very intuitive
Nachteile:
- lack of easy automation - lack of sourcing within the ats - there are a few sections that can be organised better in terms of ux/ui - the extension for linkedin sourcing hardly ever works
Couldn't recommend Greenhouse more!
Kommentare: I have used Greenhouse for five years now. At my most recent job, we invested in Greenhouse and I took part in implementation. It's easy to make a case for something when it's that good.
Vorteile:
I like how user friendly the interface is and how responsive support is.
Nachteile:
Personally, I don't have any negative points about Greenhouse.
Close System. Good Enough When You Do Not Need Much Customizations.
Vorteile:
The overall UI of the greenhouse is user friendly and navigation is very clear. It does serve mostly all hiring requirements.
Nachteile:
Greenhouse doesn't provide any customization be it reports, custom fields, granular permissions or anything. It's mostly the closed system unless you decide to pay additionally for anything.

Ease of use, functionality & customer service are excellent! We thoroughly enjoy our time with Greenhouse thus far!
Nachteile:
Integrations can be tricky, but usually boil down to the functionality of the HRIS, and not Greenhouse.
Greenhouse Getting It Done

Easy integrations and the collaboration/feedback piece is great.
Nachteile:
Sourcing candidates in the database is difficult. Would love to see some AI search capabilities
Greenhouse is great for SMB and growing organizations
Kommentare: Overall like GH, it is easy to set up and configure. There are also nice reporting features that you can pull directly out of there for data and business decision making.
Vorteile:
It is easy for the end user to navigate also nice reports
Nachteile:
I wish you could see when interviews are confirmed and there was a better way to manage positions for workforce managment

The platform for those who do not need to rely on AI

I love that GH is actively making a product that lets TA personnel use their craft as opposed to relying on AI. There are so many helpful features that mitigate bias, and we find it easy to help share and use this platform with our hiring managers
Nachteile:
Greenhouse continues to be innovative, but not at the same rate as other companies. This is not a true negative, but they are always willing to help find a solution.

Integration with outlook for scheduling is a challenge. Would like an easier process to disposition a requisition. Reporting on stages of a requisition could be better.
One of the most robust and easy to use ATS systems available on the market

Vorteile:
The system's user-friendly nature simplifies applicant tracking, allowing for tailor-made adjustments to the ATS to suit your company's workflow. The customer service is attentive, always ready to tackle queries and offer swift resolutions. Plus, their reporting capabilities are top-notch!
Nachteile:
One hiccup is document compatibility; Word files and job descriptions sometimes don't translate well, nudging you to tweak the font sizes for consistency
Great Product, But Don't Skimp on Implementation
Kommentare: Everyone I've worked with in Talent Acquisition across three different companies loves Greenhouse, but a product this powerful and complex requires a reasonable investment in proper implementation.
Vorteile:
As far as I can tell, it's the top recruitment software platform in the Talent Acquisition market.
Nachteile:
The self-implementation which the sales staff provided us as a default was inadequate.
Greenhouse is great for managing applications!
Kommentare: Greenhouse is an essential part of the recruiting process. From keeping our pipelines healthy, dispositioning candidates in a timely fashion, and all other important functions, Greenhouse helps us grow!
Vorteile:
Greenhouse has a bit of a learning curve. This is NOT to say that it's difficult to use, but to say that it has many features that take time to educate the teams on. I like how you can extensively see user history and merge candidate profiles.
Nachteile:
The scheduling feature leaves some things to be desired. With other apps like GoodTime you get better interviewer data that allows you to identify trends that optimize the interview process.

Kommentare: My experience with Greenhouse has been mostly positive, moving up the ladder and going from interviewee to interviewer. I'm absolutely certain that the friendly user interface outweighs some of the chunkiness.
Vorteile:
Any person who worked a few years for sure have already come across a hiring platform, chasing a better opportunity. Greenhouse is better used from the point of view of the interviewer, rather than the interviewee. But Greenhouse is good for a number of reasons. For instance, it is very user friendly, it is easy to navigate and works like a small library of new possibilities for your team. It is also highly customisable and allows the user to set up their own recruiting stages for each job.
Nachteile:
There are multiple ways of accessing the same information and that can feel repetitive and, sometimes, even a little excessive.
Great customisable ATS
Kommentare: I've been on the field for many years, and GH is still the best option for our needs. We tried different ATSs, but none were as adaptable as GH.
Vorteile:

Enjoy seamless access to candidate funnel information, clear and organized scorecards, easy-to-use referral links with progress tracking, and smooth integration with your HRIS (like HiBob, in our case).
Nachteile:
Automation Features: Expand automation options for repetitive tasks, such as interview scheduling and follow-up communications, to save time and boost efficiency. The feature exist for long time but I feel it can be even better introducing maybe some AI components.
Onboarding Platform
Kommentare: Pleasant experience with Greenhouse. We used this as an onboarding platform to track new and ongoing open job opportunities and manage our referees and interview steps. We use this as well to manage onboarding documents.
Vorteile:
1. Helps to easily track and manage referrals. The interview process becomes transparent to track the flow. 2. Very attractive UI and user-friendly working dashboard. 3. Chat feature is one of the best things for immediate support and access.
Nachteile:
1. The major missing is AI functionalities now. 2. Very limited customization is available on the platform either in reporting or dashboard. 3. We faced multiple issues with the integration of greenhouse and outlook
Hard to Navigate
Vorteile:
It's a huge tool that works great for recrutiers. Has a ton of capabilities
Nachteile:
Not user friendly at all. It takes a really long time to find the page you're looking for. Feels outdated and not intuitive
The cream of the crop of ATS
Kommentare: Rapidly growing needs to scale that Twilio experienced in 2021-2022 its recruitment efforts to meet increased hiring demands. We used Greenhouse ATS to automate job postings and implement bulk actions for efficient candidate management. With the system's scalability and robust reporting, Twilio was able to handle a higher volume of applicants, maintain hiring standards, and quickly identify areas for process optimization.
Vorteile:
Greenhouse ATS is a remarkable tool that stands out from others. One of its key strengths is its intuitive and user-friendly interface, making it effortless for recruiters and hiring teams to navigate and manage the hiring process efficiently. With its seamless integrations with various job boards and seamless collaboration features, Greenhouse ATS is truly a comprehensive solution that enhances productivity and helps organizations build exceptional teams.
Nachteile:
The complexity and learning curve associated with setting up and customizing the system. It can require time and technical expertise to fully leverage its capabilities, which may pose challenges for less tech-savvy users or smaller organizations with limited resources. Lack of built-in email templates, which can be time-consuming when communicating with candidates. The system's reporting and analytics capabilities are not as robust or customizable as one ideally preferred.
Good tool, nothing special

Mostly intuitive to use and doesn't require training to be able to use
Nachteile:
When searching for a role or candidate, sometimes it took a few different angles and routes before I found the information I wanted
Great Platform for Internal Job Postings and Application Tracking
Vorteile:
Greenhouse makes it super easy to track applications and provide feedback when interviewing job candidates. The format for having the job posting in a tab next to the resume and cover letter of the candidate along with a comprehensive scorecard makes interviews consistent and organized.
Nachteile:
The internal job posting board our company uses could be organized a little better with more information provided or roles hyperlinked but this is not a dealbreaker for using Greenhouse.
Greenhouse - a great recruitment tool
Kommentare: While there are many valuable features for recruiting and hiring, I have found that some people find the software to have a steep learning curve. Some companies may also find the limited customization options frustrating. Additionally the reporting is not as great as it could be. However, overall, this is a ATS software that is widely used and people generally have positive experiences so it remains a popular choice for recruiters and HR professionals.
Vorteile:
I like the notes section that is available to add on candidate profiles. This helps while screening the candidates and keeping valuable information for other team members in the recruitment process.
Nachteile:
Sometimes there are too many options and buttons on the ATS that makes it quite difficult to learn. Reporting capabilities could be better as well. Some teams may spend too much time learning the ATS instead of recruiting on the tool. There are limited customization options and integration issues which can cause problems with data consistency
Sturdy ATS Software
Kommentare: I enjoy Greenhouse. It is great for basic hiring needs and I like the integrations that are supported which enable a full lifecycle recruiting.
Vorteile:
I love that we can manage candidates and job postings. It is simple to set up and then track your candidates per role.
Nachteile:
The reporting functionalities can be more robust and customizable. I dislike that we cannot use Greenhouse for sourcing and campaigning and that we have to rely on external software to do this.
A solid ATS
Kommentare: A very positive experience with Greenhouse. I was previously using an ATS that was decades old, and the amount of functionality that is in Greenhouse is mindblowing.
Vorteile:
Greenhouse provides multiple integrations and automations for every organization. I appreciate that I can automatically send info over from our ATS to our onboarding and HRIS systems.
Nachteile:
Setup can take some time. Greenhouse is a bit complicated on the backend, when you're setting up automations and integrations.
