We use Busybusy both in the field and in the office. We love the flexibility & mobility it gives us!

Kommentare: Access to real-time data and tracking and the ability for users to provide additional information by using descriptive fields.

Vorteile:

It can be used anywhere. We have construction crews in the field and it's great that they can use it wherever they are and we can have real-time data without having to wait for the end of the week for paper timecards. It takes a lot of the burden off of our foremen and frees them up for more important work. Plus, their customer service is outstanding!

Nachteile:

Limited reporting features. Their canned reports often provide either two little data, or too much data that their canned reports often provide either two little data, or too much data that nut then needs to be manipulated in Excel.

I've used many of the top apps for years, and BusyBusy has some amazing options that others don't

Kommentare: They have been really amazing to work with honestly, the team is super helpful, replies quickly, and seems to really want to understand my issues and solve any problems. That is huge for me!

Vorteile:

I like the field budgeting options that can use both time tracked (hours) or labor burden (dollars) to track the progress of each project

Nachteile:

There isn't much to not like about it overall, but some of the menu's could be a little more user friendly, but honestly, I think all of the apps we've used could use some improvement on that.

Its easy to use however, its functionality to save clocking in and out is an issue

Kommentare: Being able to clock in on my phone. Accessibility through phone and computer. Being able to view time cards and current hours in pay period. Checking and signing time cards makes it easier to be paid on time.

Vorteile:

busybusy offers an app that has a simple design and easy to use interface. It also offers a website that has a simple but more in depth view if needed. The layout for the clocking system is cool and I like how it tracks your time. Viewing old time cards is a positive thing for me also.

Nachteile:

The app and website have been unreliable at times to save punches, which makes it where employees have to remembers their times instead of what the app is suppose to be doing, which is tracking those punches. It wastes time for the administration staff to have to go back into time cards and fix multiple punches between multiple employees.

Nachteile:

The name....lol. I thought it was cheezy. Other than that, I think it's a new product and will continue to improve over time..

Essential for Payroll

Kommentare: We are not losing out on billable hours.We have a solid history for any clients (and labor force) who have questions.

Vorteile:

We use busybusy to complete payroll, target project management needs, and capture billable hours

Nachteile:

We actually don't access all features we could in busybusy. For our small business it, we are finding our use appropriate and essential. So we actually don't know what we are missing. WE are having trouble with our management force buying in to the concept. They feel like we are tracking them.

Easy navigation, I can explain how to use the app in less than five minutes to new employees.

Vorteile:

Overall my experience with busybusy have been successful. I personally have had zero issues when it comes to the navigation and reporting while using the application. My experience with their customer service is outstanding and they will do whatever it takes to resolve the issue immediately. The overall navigation is simple and easy to use. My eleven year old knows how to use it. The cost is low comparable to other timekeeping applications.

Nachteile:

As of today the only cons that I personally have is that it currently does not integrate with our bidding software. If this could integrate it would be the perfect software for our company.

Kommentare: What I mentioned on top, that it fulfills the DOT Requirements for the use of ELD Devices that reached a death line where now it is mandatory; I really wish it does the long Driver-logs for on the road too? may be it will be something you are working on and then it will be ideal? as per the price? I don't know how much you charge since i'm not the owner of company I used for .

Vorteile:

THat it really does what the new rule of Driver Local will ask for as it applies to me as a Truck Driver Local within the 100 miles radius

Nachteile:

it consumes your battery real fast and before you know you are out unless you inhabilitate the location. sometimes, it also don't save your entry as you did? you run the day thinking that it is tracking and at the end you find it that it still hanging on the save screen?

So simple to use! Finally an app all my techs don't complain about!

Vorteile:

The time card reports, they make doing payroll so much quicker! Easy to find, easy to read!! Also the break tracking feature. I'm not hunting down technicians anymore to ask them if they took a break, it's right there at my fingertips when I'm ready to process payroll :)

Nachteile:

Very rarely, but its happened a couple of times, I've been logged out of my app on my phone. Nothing too frustrating, I log back in and I'm back in business!

I have had a good experience with BusyBusy. I like that I can change my username and password.

Vorteile:

I like the separation of time cards for different punches. It is really nice to be able to describe why I am punching in. During normal work hours it may seem redundant, but when we get emergency calls, it really helps to separate the jobs that we do after hours.

Nachteile:

I feel like there should be more security. On a phone, for example, if I clock in, I stay clocked in for weeks unless I clear everything. Naturally I should log out but for those times when you're in a rush it'd be good if it timed out after about ten minutes.

Kommentare: There's really nothing negative in my mind. It's just a good, user friendly app for timekeeping and I don't think anyone could go wrong in adopting this program for their employees time keeping.

Nachteile:

I have not really learned any more about busybusy since we first started using it almost 2 years ago. I am not very tech savy, and so I have not done any self learning. I have reached out to my rep to go over new and interesting things but we just have not been able to connect. To be fair to busybusy, every day I log in, there is self learning updates right there at the top; I just have never looked at any of them because I don't know if it will apply to us or if it will even make sense to me.

BusyBusy is a great program that meets our needs.

Kommentare: Our experience has been positive. The reports that are used weekly are easy to generate and clear and simple to read. The busybusy program has cut down on the amount of time that management uses to verify hours, especially compared to a manual punch timeclock

Vorteile:

BusyBusy has been an instrumental way that we track the time students spend with their projects. BusyBusy has detailed reports that allow us to see quickly and easily the amount of time spent on a project and that they were at the correct location. Allowing us to set up a geolocation circle has helped us ensure that the time spent was spent where it was supposed to be.

Nachteile:

I'd love it if there were a way for the version we use to send push notifications to users to remind them to clock in when they arrive at the geolocation we've set up and to clock out when they leave it. Other than that, we have had no issues with busybusy.

Busybusy has taken away the headache from our old time card system

Kommentare: We were able to track our jobs and the hours our employees worked per job more accurately. It's also helped our employees be a little more responsible for their own time cards.

Vorteile:

It was very easy for our employees to learn how to use the app on their phones. When they forget to clock in or out, it is possible for me to go in and edit their hours. I also like the reports that are available. It makes it easy when it comes to payday to see a report of each employee and double-check the hours they worked.

Nachteile:

Some of the tasks take a few too many clicks to get through or are a little confusing. For example, finding an employees time card from a previous day takes 4 or 5 different menus. I've gotten used to it after using it for so long, but I remember it was confusing at first. I also struggle with the little clock that pops up to choose an employees clock-in or clock-out time. I'd rather just type in the time than move the hour/minute hands on a clock. I also wish there was a way to get notified when an employees scheduled time off is coming up. We let our employees schedule time off as far out as possible, but when the time comes, we've forgotten about it. We actually don't use this feature of the Busybusy software, but would if it was more helpful to us.

Easy to Use and Great Customer Service

Vorteile:

The ability to enable and disable almost every basic feature makes building out the system easy and quick. Allowing you to make it the exact way you would want it. With the room for growth into the application from a basic time and project tracking to full blown project management and profit tracking, the opportunity for you and this company are endless.

Nachteile:

While there are a few niche things we were looking for, but couldn't get to work, Busy busy makes up for in their customer service and willingness to receive customer feedback for improvements.

Good product for time management and digital reporting

Vorteile:

Easy to clock in and out. I like that you can create reports and upload photos directly to the reports. I like the ability of supervisors to assist the workers in clocking in/out and switching between jobs throughout the day just in case they forget. I like that the mobile progress reporting platform allows you to make line breaks without making entirely new notes.

Nachteile:

It can sometimes take a long time to load notes and daily progress reports on the mobile platform resulting in wasted time, and sometimes my phone will even time out and lock itself while waiting for the reports to load. I'd like to see faster load times, but perhaps if you could add an option to keep the phone awake like some other apps do I could at least stop having to tap the screen every 15 seconds or so to keep it from locking.

Excellent product for Time Management and Time Clock

Kommentare: BusyBusy has streamlined our payroll, by integrating with our accounting software we are now able to directly import our employee's time rather than manually entering in the data from paper time cards. Another major plus is the scheduling feature, our Project Managers are now able to update our crew on the fly and direct them to their next worksites.

Vorteile:

The software is very easy to use and the mobile app makes it simple for our employees to keep track of their time. The Scheduling feature has also become a integral part of our daily/weekly planning for our project managers

Nachteile:

Right now the only thing we would like to see would be a feature that tracks small equipment, something like the Milwaukee Tag system that uses Bluetooth and QR codes to map where small equipment is being used.

Huge Time Saver!

Kommentare: Been mostly satisfied with the overall experience with Busy Busy. I have recommended it to many other contractors.

Vorteile:

When the wonderful DIR decided that we needed to do weekly payroll on certified jobs, that increased my payroll from 2x per month to 6x per month! Busy Busy has cut the time it takes to complete payroll significantly. It is a great to be able to remotely review timecards and employees.

Nachteile:

We are having issues with time zones. We work all over the globe and when there is an issue with an employees time, I have problems adjusting it when I'm in a different timezone

Exactly what we needed!

Vorteile:

Busybusy has saved me minimally an hour a day on filling out time sheets. Love that the app calculates how long someone spent at each job site within their 8 hour day especially when they work at more than one location in any given day. I also like that we can customize and require cost codes. Busybusy also makes it difficult for the crew members to be dishonest on their time sheet. This app has been far more reliable with its GPS feature than the last app we used.

Nachteile:

I ran into a few glitches during the initial set u,p but customer service was very responsive and helpful. When importing our list of employees I used a short 4 character password and their last name for their user name. Had I known the password required 8 characters it would have saved a lot of frustration. Also in hindsight, because the user name has to be unique, I would recommend using their email address. Without the forewarning several of our employees couldn't log in. It was resolved quickly with the help of customer service. I would like to see the employees have the option to request their own time off. I as an admin am able to do that for them.

We are using busy busy in our electrical company. Busy busy is fairly easy to use on PC and mobile.

Kommentare: The exact time the employees worked onsite. I can track the break time and GPS location of employees.

Vorteile:

I like the easy user interface of platform as it is simple to use on both computers and mobile phone. As an admin it gives me access to edit employees time cards if they made an mistake. The GPS feature is really great to find out where employees actually are when they log into busy busy. This way owner can check if employees are really onsite or not.

Nachteile:

Only thing that bothers me is that software do not have 15 minutes time rounding feature. Everytime I got the timecards like 8:04 min and then have to adjust to 8 hours.

So easy to use , everything is titled with what you need to know and self explanatory to clock in and out easy to make adjustments when you forget to clock in and out or if you didn't take your brake

The bad things about the busy busy app were to start it's a great app I have nothing bad to say other then getting kicked off or out of the app but that may be the cell phone provider I use if I had to say one bad thing it would be to maybe make it were it's a little more user friendly to make adjustments to your time in the app other then the you could say you have A very happy user

Since I prefer to do my work from a desktop computer, I have to move it to my laptop when traveling. That involves a call to customer service (which is fabulous), but it is time consuming and if I forget it work sync with QuickBooks. Also, if I don't sync busybusy with QuickBooks at least every 2 weeks I will loose information.

dont like that hourlys have to punch in and out for lunch, total of 4 punches per day, should have the option to default to auto punch 30 mins minimizing the punches to 2 per day instead, just in and out, to avoid admin from constantly making tedious corrections.4 punches daily is overkill

Very easy for the employees to use during their busy day, easy for us to track.

Vorteile:

I like that I can go on at any time and check a variety of things such as times, location, etc. The software make it easy to make changes quickly when needed. I also love the report features- such as looking at a specific project and a detailed description of the hours worked at that location.

Nachteile:

Ive talked to support staff, and there doesn't seem to be a fix. The locations are accurate, however it doesn't show all their locations. It may show a clock in location but not a clock out, or not all breaks. It is rare for me to be able to see all locations for a person in a single day, making it difficult at times to fully track them and their time keeping accuracy.

My busy busy app won't work occasionally if I don't have data.

Kommentare: I can clock in early in the am before my formen gets to the job site. I can analise my hours from my home without having to log onto a separate website. The app allows me to change jobs while on my way to the next job. The app also slows me to keeps track of hours for individual types of work on each job site.

Vorteile:

I can clock in and out from my phone. Going on lunch break is when I can just click a button on my phone. I can clock in before my formen shows up. I can analise my time from my home.

Nachteile:

It doesn't load sometimes. Occasionally when I clock out the app says I'm clocked out but doesn't register and keeps the time rolling making more work for my formens.
