It lacks the visual and audio enhancements. If they only made it as pretty, fun to watch and hear (music etc) as Kahoot it would be almost perfect.

Great product

Kommentare: Overall a great experience, I have been using this software for about 2 years now and I continue to use it. The students love it as well as it helps them to assess their learning within the class.

Vorteile:

Is of use and that it can be used with mobile devices. Easy to update poll questions.

Nachteile:

The polls deactivate after a while so each time the class is run I have to go in and activate the polls I am going to use that semester. Maybe this is because I am using the free version of the software.

Okay Product, But Shockingly Poor Customer Service and Inflexible Policies

This account was tied to my former small business, which I haven’t closed but am not currently operating. The charge caused my account to overdraft, which was not only stressful but also financially impactful. I reached out to Poll Everywhere immediately to explain the situation and request a refund, but what I received in return was a rigid, policy-driven response that completely ignored my unique circumstances. Despite me clearly stating that I no longer need or use the service—and the fact that I had used it only once—they refused to offer any flexibility or refund. They cited “fairness and consistency,” but it’s clear this approach serves their bottom line, not their customers. Why This Matters:
I am a journalist who produces independent documentary films. Anyone who has ever tried to build a small business or create independent films knows how difficult it is to stay afloat financially. What may seem like a small $129.72 charge to a company like Poll Everywhere is, in reality, a significant amount to those of us who are working hard to create something meaningful. It’s also incredibly frustrating that their process requires customers to jump through hoops, such as manually downgrading their accounts, even after stating they no longer want the service. They have no customer service phone number, forcing you to rely on slow, email-only communication. This makes resolving issues a time-consuming process that could be avoided with a simple phone call. Policies should serve as guidelines, not barriers to doing the right thing. Good companies know when to consider context and make exceptions for honest mistakes, especially when the evidence is clear: no service usage for an entire year and an inadvertent overdraft. Live Audience Response to a Poll. I hosted one event in a theater where I wanted to ask the audience one question in real time and in a way they could immediately see what everyone else's answers were.

Nachteile:

Poll Everywhere offers a good product. If you’re looking for an interactive polling tool for presentations or events, the platform itself works well. I used it once at a live film screening to engage the audience, and it performed as expected. But while the product is decent, the customer service and company policies are incredibly disappointing.

Vorteile:

Poll Everywhere was one of the first "text in" polling options available and I was an early adopter. I work on a college campus and I have used the software for everything from allowing students to text in their vote at a talent show to polling the audience during a talk to incoming students. Poll Everywhere allows for seamless connection to presentation software so you can easily integrate your polls into your slide deck. It's also easy for the audience to send in their response, even if they've never used the program. Finally, the realtime polls allow you to get instant feedback, so you know what your audience is thinking.

Nachteile:

I don't have many complaints with Poll Everywhere. I would say that they need some improvements in the their pricing options, but this is minor. The only adjustment I would like to see is a smaller price tag for a one time event.

Easy to create & implement, not as easy for users

Kommentare: It was a great free option for small meeting engagment, but not optimal for large groups and not super easy for participants to join.

Vorteile:

The competition feature of the live poll and the multiple options for participant responses.

Nachteile:

The difficulty participants have getting into the poll & using the app. I often get confused people who take time to join. Also the fact that I cannot moderate competitions easily from my app, and that participants can't see leaderboard in between questions on their app.

Kommentare: Everything was really great to be honest it is very useful to everybody.

Vorteile:

It has a sense of urgency and you will be able to come up with the result on the time that you wanted. It was considered a nice tool for making a big group decision distantly it will allow every participant to share their sides through voting.

Nachteile:

Like least about the poll is that it cannot send information to everybody that they need to mandatorily cooperate to come up with an accurate result during the collecting of votes or responses.

Kommentare: I have had a great overall experience using poll anywhere, and I use it to build effective polls. Several users create polls and surveys using the poll everywhere.

Vorteile:

My favourite aspect of Poll everywhere is that it can be used to design effective polls. The user interface is quite straightforward, easy to use, and beginner friendly. It makes the process of making polls seamless. Other applications can be integrated with it.

Nachteile:

As poll Perfect is the most popular of the others, I can't think of any drawbacks.

Vorteile:

Poll Everywhere is easy to use from both the instructor and the student facing sides of the software. We desperately needed to find a solution to get real-time survey results in the classroom without making students pay for clicker technology they would ultimately toss away. Poll Everywhere is that solution!

Nachteile:

This is not a complaint about the software itself, but rather the pricing. Poll everywhere is more expensive for a tool that is not very robust. If you're looking for simplicity, than this tool is perfect.

Simple, easy way to build active learning into your training

Vorteile:

I like how easy it is to create polls on the fly or in advance, add in elements like photos, animated gifs, videos, etc. It was very user friendly, and the tool integrated with the LMS we used at a previous job. We were even able to add a Poll Everywhere tab to Power Point so polls could be built into presentation slides.

Nachteile:

There weren't alot of things I didn't like about it, the free version probably has some limitations but overall the tool is very versatile.

Best option for polling

This was a revolutionary software for ease of polling a group of people. It can be used remotely as well. It just allows for excellent anonymous polling of Audience and groups of all kinds. And allows for a cool pop up of different answers. Plenty of features for the more complicated polls and easy use for the beginner. A must have in the academic settings for quick quizzing of students.

Nachteile:

I only find that having to have an account can be a complication but it’s free and easy to make one and I believe you can still poll even without an account, I might be wrong about that though. Overall, just seriously no complaints.

Does the job

Vorteile:

Lately, my professors have gotten into the habit of using Poll Everywhere to conduct an interactive lecture. By showing the link on the screen, every student can participate quickly in polling during the class. It's simple and easy to use, and also easy to set up. Instead of having students buy clickers, this is an awesome, free alternative to get students engaged.

Nachteile:

Some of the modes of presenting the data results are very hard to read and understand. There needs to be improvement to the options of presenting the data.

It helps with polls. I usually send poll to employees getting reviews related to diffrent work load and Yes, This tool helps extremely. 100% recommended and should be used.

Nachteile:

It has nithing which I dont like. Have all the features. Wish It could have something like scraping data from the polls and separately targetting them.

Vorteile:

Poll Everywhere was a big hit when we revealed it during a management development session. The participants loved the idea of responding to an interactive activity and viewing their responses in real-time. I would recommend any professional who does presentations to utilize this tool. It brings a new depth to your presentations! The ability to use the app is so seamless and tech savvy as well.

Nachteile:

I would like to see the ability to have more than one multiple choice question displayed at a time. However, it probably wouldn't be as clean and cohesive as possible.

Vorteile:

Poll Everywhere is easy to use and eliminates the need for costly remotes/clickers. Users can access the polls and respond via smartphone. I have used Poll Everywhere as a student and also in a professional setting and have never had an issue with it. Results are instant and displayed in a chart which can be easily interpreted.

Nachteile:

For individuals who may not have access to a smart phone or prefer not to use personal electronics for this type of use, data collection may be skewed.

Obtaining people's opinions

Kommentare: Professors in classrooms have used it to collect our opinions and to gauge our understanding of topics.

Vorteile:

Ability to integrate into PowerPoint presentations. Audience does not need accounts to sign-in, can open link and answer poll (anonymous). Various types of polls (single words, multiple choice, yes/no).

Nachteile:

Expensive for the features it provides. Customization can be improved.

Vorteile:

Poll everywhere is a simple and effective alternative to a similar application as a turningpoint. Poll everywhere does not require a complicated configuration and the display of the results in real time and in response size is a welcome feature.

Nachteile:

Unfortunately, I didn't use Poll everywhere enough to find failures in it. Maybe he doesn't have one after all.

Great tool for large meetings

Kommentare: Very quick and easy to create and setup polling for a presentation of any size. People love the interactivity it brings to otherwise dull presentations.

Vorteile:

Easy to setup and use. User friendly for the admin as well as the participants. Voting is really easy from a computer or a mobile device.

Nachteile:

Would be nice to be able to configure more. Nicer graphics (looks quite a bit outdated), a little more flexibility on how to display results would be nice as well
