Nachteile:

More skills needed to use this software, I can say this website was designed only for an expert.

I have been using ccs for many years, it is a user-friendly software, has simplified the estimating process for me

Nachteile:

1. Nothing that stands out, CCS has a lot of functions that I still need to explore but CCS also makes this easy with the free webinars.

20 years later and .....

Kommentare: I have been a QS for 30 years. For 20 of those years, I have used RIB Candy. I cannot image doing my work without it.

Vorteile:

Easy to use Easy to link and back up files / data paths Reporting

Nachteile:

No spellcheck :) I wish one could set up a default set of report to print following an estimate, instead of printing each one separately

Kommentare: i think it's a good construction tool that does a lot of things and it can be used to manage lots of projects. i also think that should one understand it better, the results will be beneficial

Kommentare: candy does not incorporate advance capability to formula or function like excel, and it has some unnecessary steps or incapable of doing of shortcut on steps. with the current advancement of technology including AI, the candy should be more efficient then it is now.

I am still a beginner but i believe if i understand fully how to use candy it will be easier to do estimates faster and efficiently with increased accuracy

Material adjudicator, requires line items to be priced temporary to bring usage in adjudicator Risk on resource allocation cannot be applied on trade but rather on trade types

New Candy User Review

Kommentare: My experience as a new user is relatively good. Certain things make it a lot more time-consuming to use. As I use it, I get faster using the program, but I do release that some aspects will take more time to do, compared to just using Excel for my claims

Vorteile:

It is relatively easy to use and using it gets easier as I progress

Nachteile:

The print to excel is frustrating. Headings, Bill no, Elements, total, etc. are not bold, and I can't find settings to change the print to excel settings. I also feel that there should be formulas connected to totals so that if the PQS certifies on your claim, it pulls through.

Kommentare: Been using it on a regular for my work related duties , I'm getting better and better by each day and overally I would say it's gem

Kommentare: Overall I am happy with the product and would recommend any professional in the construction industry to invest in this powerful product . Candy Makes Project Budgeting, Estimating and cost controlling much simple.

Vorteile:

The ease of use, the user interface is so simple to toggle through and for one to get used to. In terms of Quantity Take offs, one may do this in a matter of half what they would if done manually

The frequent updates only really , otherwise I am happy with the product

Candy - An Excellent Tool

Vorteile:

Most of what I use Candy for is the QTO and Estimating portions. I find them very useful and quick to use. I do enjoy that the software is continually being updated and changing to make it easier to use and more streamlined.

Nachteile:

As I mostly use the QTO function, I do come across a few minor bugs. Sometimes QTO will crash or state that there is an unexpected error; or sometimes the length or area tools will bug out when inserting new point etc. However this is not a major issue.

Kommentare: I would definitely recommend Candy to any Construction business. You have to keep up with changing times to stay ahead of your competition and Candy is one of the best ways to do so. The courses that you can do with the program is also fantastic and you learn so much.

Vorteile:

What I like most about Candy is the ease of using the product. Once you are set up and start going it makes your work a lot easier. It safes time and money, and in business time is money. I love how I can do my programming, subcontracting and pricing all at once. Project Management is made more efficient with Candy.

Nachteile:

Initially getting all the "meat" for estimating of projects (Masters) can be a challenge. Pricing per license can get a little expensive if you do not make use of the program a lot.

Kommentare: CCS is great for pricing tenders. It is great for assisting with the preparations of the cost reports

Vorteile:

I enjoy the estimating and valuations . I like the fact that you can customize it for your own uses.

Nachteile:

The difficulty and amount of time that it takes to programme on CCS. There is a lack of clarity of how to link everything and pricing multiple items with the same description.

Kommentare: Witnessed a transformation of Candy from a DOS based platform to recent look which is not just a cosmetic touch it's enhanced like anything with strong features from setting up a job at pre-tender stage and helping through out the construction cycle till handover

Candy is a complete solution for a construction firm

cash flow needs some more improvement and reporting tools Couldn't explore it to a full extent

Kommentare: my experience in Estimation . I solved how calculate amounts of alternative items without adding to overall project total cost.

Vorteile:

CANDY software save more time and easily review and updated . I can make many useful reports from CANDY.

Nachteile:

Little reports can not be extracted from CANDY such as resources per trade with number of BOQs for repetitive BOQs.
