Adobe Digital Publishing Suite: Great for interaction and digital output

Kommentare: Overall my experience has been with publishing PDFs for clients and myself as well as a few digital publications with interactive sections/motion.

Vorteile:

What I like most about using Adobe Digital Publishing Suite is how accessible it makes being able to create digital content and self-publish from both an individual and smaller company perspective.

Nachteile:

What I like least is that Digital Publishing Suite isn't entirely intuitive and does have a bit of a learning curb to get it to perform how you may need.

Could not work without it

Kommentare: its helped me to deliver and perform in my job role - its an essential tool for any designer or marketeer to have in the stack.

Vorteile:

Its the market leading tool - its your google - or your apple - for designers there is no other suite of tools i feel comparable. the things it has enabled me to do as a lone marketeer within a business is invaluable.

Nachteile:

It can be rather complex to pickup from a beginner - however the investment is 100% worthwhile - the only frustration i do have are the differences between the platforms i.e photoshop and illustrator - I feel there needs to be more consistent interfaces

Great software

Kommentare: It’s a great piece of software for designing, publishing and producing content.

Vorteile:

The fact that there is multiple application in one software to take care of all your design and video needs.

Nachteile:

They switch up packages and there are times that the software crashes on the desktop and application multiple time when using the software.

Industry Standard is out of Control

Vorteile:

I love everything about using their suite of software for my business. I've been using Adobe since the early 90s when they first launched software for Mac only. Once you know how to use it, it will be everything you need for digital and print publishing.

Nachteile:

Once they turned to subscription base, they lost me as a customer. The software is great and it's the industry standard, but you're held hostage. The updates started to become useless and they would have done better keeping the software simple, buyable, and working on other options for growth.

Industry Standard

Vorteile:

I'm assuming the Digital Publishing Suite includes InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat Pro. These are all the publishing industry standard applications. The fact that they are all made by Adobe means that moving from one application to the other is seamless and smooth. They are made to work together.

Nachteile:

The price is a little high especially now that you can't just buy these applications you have to buy the entire Creative Cloud. The learning curve is pretty steep too.

A must-have for creatives!

Vorteile:

This is the industry standard! No matter what industry, a designer of any kind can make use of this software. All pieces of the suite integrate well, and the addition of CC libraries is a game changer.

Nachteile:

Price! The price can be hard to handle as Adobe software is expensive. It's sad to see young creative professionals being priced out of a platform that is pretty much a requirement in the industry these days.

Adobe Publishing Suite is the most complete set of applications for publishing online or offline.

Vorteile:

The package contains everything you can desire for your publishing needs, from editing text to images and video, to setting it up on web or traditional media, publishing is very easy with this suite.

Nachteile:

The price can be daunting for beginners and can seem expensive if you do not know how to use the software and take the most out of it.

Allow for Professional In House Design

Vorteile:

Adobe Digital Publishing Suite is an incredibly powerful tool in the hands of our marketing team. Through this software our firm has been able to create high quality marketing collateral that has allowed our firm to stand out from the crowd.

Nachteile:

Definitely not intuitive software. Most useful in the hands of trained professionals

Great pdf software!

Vorteile:

Love that I can combine or split files while working with pdf. Also, digital signature capability helps streamline our approvals process.

Nachteile:

Not as much personalization as I would like in a software. Some of the tools are in unexpected places and can be hard to find.

Kommentare: I have had a positive experience with Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. I would suggest this software to any designer, but caution them to balance the cost against their overall profit. If your niche is publication design for mobile devices, this software is a must!

Vorteile:

I love how I can create projects for tablet publication. This has been a game changer for many of my clients who publish catalogs and online magazines!

Nachteile:

If anything, I would say the price of this software. Buying Adobe products can be expensive when you start to add them up, although they are necessary for almost all designers.

Adobe Suite is definitely a go to for graphic design

Kommentare: So Overall I'd say say it's a seven out of ten because the only issue I really notice is the apps are known for crashing

Vorteile:

Easy to use, easy to setup and file and locate

Nachteile:

Limited ability to have clients sign off

Endlessly Versitile

Kommentare: I used this program to create a class reunion 'year book' with photos, commentaries, letters from classmates . . . and it was perfect !!! I use it for family newsletters, company fliers, pamphlet layouts . . .

Vorteile:

Offers complete control of lay-out options. The ability to create template pages. Professional appearance of finished project. The versatility of use.

Nachteile:

It was a little clunky when first learning how to use it. (What do you mean did I use the manual?? Phhtttt!) Once I figured out how to use the program options it was great.

General Counsel Review

Kommentare: We have a number of internal and external newsletters and publications for which our Marketing Department is responsible. They tell me that Adobe Suite has helped them streamline their processes and made meeting their various deadlines much easier than in the past.

Vorteile:

I appreciated that the suite was a one-stop shop for our company's in-house and external publishing needs. All of the tools we needed were available in from one vendor.

Nachteile:

In my experience, there have been no negatives so far. Although I'm not one of our "power users," I've loved the functionality in creating forms and other documents to be published to our internal consumers.

Robust products

Kommentare: This is a robust tool that allows for the creation of high-quality publications.

Vorteile:

This is my favorite suite of programs for laying out publications. It’s a very robust tool and is hands down one of the very best for publishing and design layouts. There isn’t much these programs can’t do.

Nachteile:

As is the case with many Adobe programs, there is quite the learning curve for those first trying to use the program. I wish it was a little easier and intuitive.

The Best Tool on the Market

Kommentare: Adobe Creative is THE tool needed for all forms of publishing, from digital to social media to print.

Vorteile:

Is it expensive? YES! Is it worth the cost ABSOLUTELY! Nothing on the market matches the range of capabilities.

Nachteile:

I don't like that businesses can not deploy and use the software completely offline. There is no reason for Adobe to not offer a version that does not require internet connectivity.

adobe excellent choice for video publication

Vorteile:

excellent choice, for your editions and programming of your videos, easy to use excellent tools of perfect work

Nachteile:

I do not have any negative comments for this software, its price a bit high but I think you can be worth it

Very helpful software if you have some Adobe skill background.

Vorteile:

Allows the user incredible flexibility and excellent features. Looking to use the suite to publish an online newspaper.

Nachteile:

Can be too technical for some users. Familiarity with other Adobe products is helpful. Adobe products can also be pricey.

Software with a ton of features that you will have to research well to take advantage of.

Vorteile:

I like the ability to publish and list paperwork and make it look professional. Better than hiring a graphic designer, but watch out.

Nachteile:

Watch out for the time it may take novice users to trouble shoot their own work if something doesn't work well. Pay to play.

I rather loved the easy access. The instructions were right on point. I needed very little help when I used it

Great software to be creative

Kommentare: Being able to send this to the team here at TMW. Great for tradeshows as well!

Vorteile:

Its easy to use, great way to make documents come to life, editing is good. I love the functionality of it. Great software!

Nachteile:

Sometimes it does take a while to load. We have to reboot it and start it up again. But I think that's with any software. Other than that it is great! :)

Functional support

Kommentare: It helps me to use documents on the computer and on other devices, necessary to interact with different web sites.

Vorteile:

It is easy to use. Enables easy connextion with other devices that I´m using. It gives nice oversights of work done.

Nachteile:

Nothing, it works just as I need it. I never missed any additional feature, ornament nor animation.

Problem solver!

Vorteile:

We started using Adobe Products just recently, and I’m seriously impressed. We now have way less calls to IT, and everyone was able to learn the software really quickly.

Nachteile:

Very few complaints, honestly. Actually, none. Slightly pricey, I guess.

Adobe DPS

Kommentare: Distributing digital content in an approachable manner that didn’t require extensive development.

Vorteile:

It allowed our team to publish a digital app without a ton of coding or programming.

Nachteile:

There were certain functionality that did not work across all platforms.

Publication Design in 5 minutes

Vorteile:

I use it if I need to create a design for an online publication really quickly. You don't have to know anything to use and it makes management of videos, photos and texts so quick and easy that there is nothing else you could wish for.

Nachteile:

It is very simple, so it has only basic design features, which sometimes are not enough. But I think it is a fair product design choice.
