Communicating with customers
Vorteile: It is very easy to receive and send messages to customers regarding account information. Notifications are very timely and software is updated regularly.
Nachteile: I really don't have many complaints. Sometimes emails get routed to spam that are not spam but that is about it.

Vorteile: It is easier to use than our previous software. When you use it it does not open additional windows as our old software did. It also offeres a lot of settings that can be customizable to your library. It is easy to use and making chatting easier.
Nachteile: The thing I like the least about it is that is have a feature that allows you to share your photo with your clients. I would rather we did not have that option as I feel some will abuse this.

Gets the job done
Kommentare: We use LibAnswers to staff the Ask-A-Librarian chat service for our library patrons. Overall it works well for that purpose. When the questions get a bit more complex, i.e. closer to research consultations, the shortages in the program can be seen.
Vorteile: For basic question and answer chats, this software is very useful. I appreciate the integration with FAQs so that repetitive questions can be answered more quickly.
Nachteile: The picture sharing and screensharing functionalities are still very new and not quite up to par. LibAnswers also does not integrate with other LibApps products as well as I would expect - i.e. with LibCal to make appointments, LibWizard for experience surveys, etc.
