Great organization for my membership.

Vorteile:

Very easy to pull up members accounts, billing information, general contact information, and the reps information. Making membership mailing labels and membership reports is very easy with this software. I use this software to easily find any membership representative information I need. This software has also made it easy to look up and find a member.

Nachteile:

The only con I have for this software would be the new update, i'm so used to the old version it'll take time to learn the updated.

Why is GZ different? Answer ..... Customer Service Team!

Kommentare: i started using GZ 4 days before the pandemic was announced by WHO. i had ZERO training or knowledge of GZ. My lifeline was the support team. I was in the chat several times a day, i took all courses offered (more than once) and documented everything i discussed with the customer service team. If it would not have been the TREMENDOUS customer support, i would not have succeeded in getting the client up and running as quickly as i did. AND they never spoke to me in a tone that would have indicated "you should know this". They were always willing to walk me through the basics and over time, my questions grew and more complicated. Through it all, the customer service team is an extension of me and they make me better and smarter each time i call. They are what makes GZ different from other providers. THANK YOU!

Vorteile:

- customer service - online help (old wiki) - training courses - ease of processing memberships - continuity of the flow of membership data

Nachteile:

- cannot add custom fields - some module areas are not very flexible or user friendly - basic reports are missing the ability to add fields that show up on other reports - you cannot undo a mistake - would love to have an option on the tool bar to see the last few records you were on so you dont have to continue to toggle back and forth

Kommentare: It's been up and down. Wish we had more support or a rep assigned to us. We have unresolved issues with billing that have been ongoing for many months.

Vorteile:

Many needed features in one platform like billing, communication, website, member hub, and event registration with full integration. Website builder is easy to use. The platform is overall easy to use and training is available.

Nachteile:

Unresolved support tickets, long wait for support response. We've been unable to run billing or we have had to run billing with errors.

Robust - user friendly system

Kommentare: We moved from ChamberMaster to Growthzone and have loved it. Having a one-stop shop for all AR (as we do this for 5 separate companies). Being able to have multiple invoices and bank accounts - wow!

Vorteile:

The user friendly platform is so easy to navigate

Nachteile:

Event check-in is very cumbersome with a 2-part system - takes too long to check people in when you have a long line

Kommentare: I went from using a very complex system that required a lot of customization on my part to GrowthZone that had everything built in. So complicated in fact that no other staff members knew how to do anything on the admin side. With GrowthZone, everyone on staff can be comfortable working in the program. Things are more seamless - easily seeing your members and their activities, groups, billings and registrations. Everything is all "under one roof" - membership, meeting registration, committees, document storage, forms and surveys, marketing automation plus other available modules that I am not using like certifications, fundraising and more.
Switching to GrowthZone saved an incredible amount of time for my team and is super easy to learn - it's very intuitive. However, if you can't figure it out, the documentation and available training videos are abundant! Which was also completely lacking from my old system. I have recommended it to several association leaders.

Vorteile:

There is so much functionality I didn't even realize I needed and now couldn't live without. It has quite truly saved my staff and me a lot of time.

Nachteile:

There are still some glitches here and there, and some other features that I would like to see added since they seem (to me at least) to be basic and logical additions.

Easy to learn and track member info

Vorteile:

Easy tracking of events, members and visibility of the Info Hub to members. The knowledge base to research answers to common questions is very appreciated.

Nachteile:

Having to update the same information in multiple locations when a member updates their info. Would also appreciate more detailed information on the invoices so that members can understand the time period covered for annual dues.

Kommentare: Sure there have been a few hiccups, but overall, I am so pleased with GrowthZone. I also love all the people -- they are great on the phone, on webinars, and making us all feel like friends at conferences!

Vorteile:

Coming from another AMS, GrowthZone has saved me so much time on the day to day operations. Dues billing takes moments, rather than days of cutting and pasting. Setting up an event and seeing the results of the event is fantastic.

Nachteile:

My onboarding was a little difficult, but the staff was fairly new to the real estate industry, so it was understandable. If I had to point out one fault, it's that some basic asks haven't been addressed in the queue/vote for improvements. However, we're on our third year now, and despite that, still love it!

Kommentare: Overall, I like GrowthZone. It is easy to use. You have excellent customer service over the phone and through chat. Not so much via email.

Vorteile:

I like the ease of use and the integration to QuickBooks.

Nachteile:

There is such a lag time between emailing support and finally getting a response. Chat support is much faster but sometimes I don't have time to sit and wait to chat so I'll send an email. Getting an email response takes way to long though.

GrowthZone - An all-in-one amazing database system!

Kommentare: I have been using GrowthZone since April of this year and have used many databases in the past and by far GZ has been the easiest to utilize and grow accustomed to. It is very user-friendly and the customizable capabilities are unmatched!

Vorteile:

-Incredible customizable capabilities within reports -Widgets show a great snapshot and are also customizable to what you want -GREAT live customer service (speedy response time) -GZ Help feature is a game changer -System is very user-friendly

Nachteile:

-When live customer service is not up, sometimes your inquires do not get responded to within a week's time which is tough when it is urgent

Kommentare: Growth Zone has been extremely pleasant to deal with and while there have been some growing pains, things are working out well over our last year in the system.

Vorteile:

This membership system is very easy to work with and if there are problems, the support system is top notch with the live chat and then a transcript of what was discussed. The video library has many useful sessions.

Nachteile:

I would like to see a better way to show memberships to have a more accurate representation of numbers that are what is showing in M1.

GrowthZone - So Far, So Good

Vorteile:

Our association had been searching for a new AMS after being with our old system for over 7 years. We needed something fresh & up-to-date for our members. After a couple of months of research and demo requests, we decided to go with GrowthZone. We really like that this company offers a mobile app for our members. We also got a new website through GrowthZone which is considerably better than our old, slow site. We've received a lot of compliments from our members already. The system seems to be fairly simple to use for billing, event management and membership organization. We have not gone through a membership renewal season yet so can not speak to how smoothly that runs.

Nachteile:

We did have an issue with moving our members into the system on the backend before launching GrowthZone association-wide. The issue had to do with our membership agency tiers versus individual professional accounts. A huge number of members had to be added manually only to find out that there was another work around that we were not made aware of. It got taken care of but was certainly a headache and waste of staff time in the beginning.

Great Product

Kommentare: I have had a very good experience with GrowthZone. When I need help they are always so nice and helpful. There is never going to be a product that can do 100% of what you want 100% of the time. Considering the ease of use this product meets most of our needs. Growthzone has reached out to me several times over the course of 2 years for my thoughts about future improvements, etc. I really appreciate that and feel like I have a voice with GZ.

Vorteile:

I love that our database, events, and billing all sync. If someone registers for an event and changes their organization for example it is so easy to get everything updated and keep the database clean.

Nachteile:

I wish the events module was more robust, especially for conferences with exhibitors. It is very basic now.

GrowthZone is intuitive on the user end, and the support for our internal staff is outstanding. The user support team is accommodating in ensuring our successful implementation of the various parts of the platform.

Nachteile:

The time it took for our onboarding process was not a GrowthZone issue. This is our first AMS, and preparing for the new platform required a lot of heavy lifting from our staff.

Perfect Solution for our Association!

Kommentare: I knew GrowthZone would improve the logistics of managing our association, but I have been blown away by just how much it has improved! I highly recommend this application!

Vorteile:

I love the integration of the events and membership directory into our website. It helps me manage those two items much more efficiently. I love that I can create invoices within GZ. I love that my members can create login information, which allows me to continue to share information that is a benefit to our members.

Nachteile:

I just wish I had more flexibility with the Email Marketing feature. It is great, but I had more flexibility with our former website provider that I miss in GZ. I also need to learn more about the Quickbooks integration.

How did we survive before Growthzone?

Vorteile:

-ease of use; great user interface, on both the association and member side-array of design options-ability to customize-communication options (scheduling of emails, drip campaigns, forms and surveys)-ease of billing ( we've seen an increase of dues being paid ON TIME )-website+management integration (this has made our work lives MUCH easier)-THE TOP NOTCH onboarding team and process to get us set up and running

Nachteile:

honestly, any trouble we've run into, customer service has been amazing with walking us through or fixing the issue. We have not come across anything major in the past 15mos we've been using Growthzone.

Overall, a really good membership management tool for Chambers

Kommentare: We appreciate the customer service that we receive from Growthzone, considering the major time differences between Guam and your support staffs' locations. They are always pleasant and supportive.

Vorteile:

Overall, we are very pleased with Growthzone as a membership management software. This has been a challenge for us in the past. We really like that everything we input about the membership in the back end integrates with the website and that we have control of managing our site. Web site templates are pleasing and up to date. Members like having access to their information and updating at their convenience.

Nachteile:

We would greatly appreciate any support from Growthzone to integrate with Quickbooks. Having our membership information align with our accounting would be a dream. Right now we export with excel but we are still having to work out discrepancies between the two platforms. We also request that Growthzone works with other credit card application software such as Paypal. Right now our members cannot pay on-demand as many would like. We would work with Stripe but this program will not work with us in Guam, even if Guam is a U.S. Territory. Any support Growthzone can provide in this area would be greatly appreciated.

The beginnings of a database

Kommentare: Don't know what we would do without the support. Overever we always are concerned about the monthly charges which our BOD always questions. We use support for questions that we need answered immediately to finish a setup, event or project and rarely take or have the time to really learn best practices for the next time or for newer employees to try.

Vorteile:

Keeps membership records, member usage, tranfers to website, accounting of member participation. Tracking email correspondences. Software has been used for years - with various employees, we need the time and personnel and education to improve our database - remove old old event information and correct membership records.

Nachteile:

Need a better way to use GrowthZone when at events. No longer use or trust the payment processing and still need to use other software. Website setup has little flexibility and is time consuming - not easy to use or change. Struggling to transfer accounting into Quickbooks 2021. Lots of issues which I am told are from Quickbooks. No helpful - have you ever tried to get an answer from QB? Life is too short! need CM to help and be able to know the accounting software better...

Simple to use; robust data all in one place

Vorteile:

I love the fact that it's easy for our members to utilize the Info Hub to manage their membership. I also like the fact that using it for business development (prospects, leads, etc.) managing a pipeline AND using it for account management is SIMPLE and doesn't require duplicative effort to input information in 2 places. The integration between Outlook and Growth Zone really helps to streamline our work.

Nachteile:

Although I've been using the system for more than a year, I can't think of anything off hand that I don't like about it. I love the fact that we can provide feedback to our Administrator and she will escalate to GZ, but also she encourages us to VOTE on future enhancements.

I love ChamberMaster/ GrowthZone

Vorteile:

I love our ChamberMaster software. Customer Support is fairly quick to respond to issues. They also try to roll out new features/ updates as often as possible. They do listen to their customers and try to provide the services we need, although some of it comes with an extra price tag. We already use the biggest package, so we do wish new features were automatically included with our package.

Nachteile:

Sometimes I feel like I know the system better than some of the customer service reps. I always have to be very detailed when I have an issue. And a lot of times they reply back and tell me something that I already stated in the original email. I don't feel like they are very thorough when reading the emails we submit when we're having an issue.
