Great value, better than any TMS out there and the most affordable.

Kommentare: I am able to do everything I need to do from one platform. It makes my job so much easier.

Vorteile:

I love that EDI tenders are included. The price is great and you get so much value at a great price.

Nachteile:

There is a learning curve but, the support staff are amazing and quickly helped me figure things out.

It does not Ascend.

Vorteile:

I like only one thing about this software. It kept a log of all users actions. This feature held each person accountable for any mistakes made.

Nachteile:

Everything. This software is hard to navigate. From entering in a load manually and then to invoice it is all a hassle.

Kommentare: I have worked with many systems in the past and this one has been the easiest to learn and has offered the best support.

Vorteile:

It was very easy to use, they have a ton of available resources and You Tube Videos I can refer to and if I still need help I can email and get a response within and mostly before 24 hours.

Nachteile:

Personally it was just a learning curve for the overall Brokerage business and how best to set up accounts and transactions to sync in QB.

Kommentare: I have to say that I am obsessed with AscendTMS.
One-on-one training with Jayme was great, she went above and beyond. It is always a pleasure to work with professionals.

Vorteile:

A web-based TMS is a treat to us. Lots of very useful features that make our life easier.

Nachteile:

Integrated tracking could be improved. Not all drivers are willing to open a link on the go. Would be great if it tracked them automatically.

BEST TMS ON THE MARKET

Kommentare: It's been great. This is the first TMS system that we have used, and we plan on using it for many years to come.

Vorteile:

I like that it's easy to use, they are always making useful updates to the system, and you can export data.

Nachteile:

We have not had any issues with the TMS.

The software is user friendly. There have only been a couple times that I needed Support assistance since using the Ascend TMS software and tech [sensitive content hidden] reached out in a timely matter and helped resolve the issue. It is a comforting feeling knowing the software is dependable and when necessary, Ascend Support has responded within minutes of submitting my request for assistance. Thank you Ascend Support Team for your diligence and knowledge with your product to effectively resolve issues.

Nachteile:

I have not come across anything specific that I dislike. If anything, there are tutorials to reference. I just don't give enough time to take advantage of the tutorial resources.

Kommentare: What stood out to me the most with this software was my interactions with Elwood Black. He provided me with the live links to all trainings offered, he ensured I knew how to access all the walkthrough videos, and checked in on us throughout our entire trial process to ensure no additional assistance was needed. This has been by far my best customer service interaction since we have opened our business. We truly appreciate not only your software and it’s functions but also the amazing representative assigned to us.

Vorteile:

All the features are absolutely incredible. They have made it impossible for you to need additional software outside of your typical load board subscriptions. The walk through videos provided are beyond informative they make it impossible to struggle utilizing and navigating the software.

Nachteile:

I wish there was an option for a monthly subscription with at least up to 3 users at a cheaper rate.

Great Customer Service!

Kommentare: I'm a very new user. I've been using this product for less than a month as of today. But so far, any issue I've had has been very quickly resolved by the CSR team.

Vorteile:

I love how quickly the Ascend team responds to inquiries. I have worked with other software companies, and none were as quick to reach back out with a solution.

Nachteile:

If you don't have some sort of carrier setup integration, i.e. RIMS or some similar service, the uploading of documents can be tedious as you can only upload one doc at a time.

Great option for small business TMS

Kommentare: Our office was using Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, etc to manage an asset based trucking company and a brokerage. While functional, it was very time consuming to do things this way and required a lot more hands on everything each week. With Ascend, we have been able to streamline processes, manage our databases and engage with Quickbooks to free up time for most of our staff members. This has allowed us to spend more time on other things, such as sales, recruiting and overall growth of our companies.

Vorteile:

I really like the features for the price of this product. It offers efficiencies in our processes on many levels, allows multiple users to access data, combines information in one place and much more. Other similar systems cost many times more than the Ascend program, making this a great option for smaller companies with smaller budgets.

Nachteile:

Updating templates does not automatically update active loads or pre-existing loads which used those templates. This just means you have to manually update existing loads based on the template in addition to the template itself when making changes.

My favorite part about Ascend is the feature where you can create rules to automatically update certain things.

Nachteile:

Not able to have multiple ascend screens open at the same time with different filters.

My ASCEND Experience

Kommentare: ASCEND appears to be user friendly; the ability to maneuver my way around with ease is huge.

The assistance I received from the Rep (Elwood) The ability to add load templates for upcoming orders

Nachteile:

I have not used the system long enough to make that determination.

The Best Scalable TMS System for the Price

Vorteile:

The ease of use and its intuitive features. Users are guided through the process of data entry and it takes the guesswork out of knowing how to use the system. The system flow easily integrates with the operational process flow

Nachteile:

Only the ability to multi select lines for deletion instead of line by line deleting from the add pay item page.

There's no reason for anyone to look any further for a GREAT TMS, Here it is.

Kommentare: User friendly, Inexpensive, customer service is on point and there always looking to make things easier and better for everyone in this industry.

Vorteile:

I have zero of computer experience and I was able to run it smoothly with confidence in about 4 days tops. I'm still finding great things I had no idea that it existed in this software. It works like a very well oiled machine. No glitches in any of the application. I spend literally 12 plus hours a day inside of this software.

Nachteile:

Haven't found anything yet. and I have been using the software for over a month.

Kommentare: Overall, it has been a great experience. I would recommend Ascend TMS to anyone looking for a new TMS system.

Vorteile:

It is very robust. It allows me to build loads as simple or complex as I need. Whether it is a 1 pick 1 drop load, or a 12 stop load with detention and layover charges to different parties, Ascend lets me build loads however I need for them to be.

Nachteile:

The only downside that I have found so far is that there is not a mobile application for the TMS board. There have been a couple situations over the past several months where I was away from the office and could have used a mobile application to build a load on my phone, but that was not an option because the mobile web version did not store all of the locations and carriers that the desktop version stores.

You won't regret at least trying AscendTMS!

Kommentare: I really like this TMS system. I've tried out a few others and was very confused and they didn't seem to be quite as easy to use.

Vorteile:

So far my favorite thing is that I can link my load boards so that posting loads is easy (DAT, Truckstop, 123Loadboard, CHRobinson, and more). I can also keep track of all my customers and any carriers that we have. I can upload documents to carriers profiles and keep track of accounting. This is all in one place!

Nachteile:

I haven't found much that I don't like. The only struggle I have right now is that I would like to upload my blank BOL and rate cons. It doesn't seem to be saving them when I try to upload. This could just be user error.
