Kommentare: We are using Eclipse software to review and tag documents for trial prep.

Vorteile:

I love the software functionality. I think it is very user friendly.

Nachteile:

I think the dashboard itself needs to be adjusted to be more appealing to the eyes. Also to be able to save your functions.

One of the best ediscovery tools eCapture

5,0 vor 5 Jahren

Kommentare: Ediscovery problems for clients can be solved efficiently with the software.

Vorteile:

Since this is a processing tool, it is very apt and fast at providing results for processing and discovery of data for the Electronic Discovery domain. The main advantage of the software is its reliability and very less error quotient in results compared to other products in the market.

Nachteile:

Since the software is designed to be without any central control or an online console like a web UI, it's difficult for a new professional to understand its working and process flow, the infrastructure setup behind the whole machinery and how each part of it is integrated to the other and how they function together. This is from the perspective of maintaining the tool and solving issue and errors encountered in its run.

Ease of Use

5,0 vor 6 Jahren

Vorteile:

I like the fact that managing my documents and various database across all platforms can be easily synced on one platform. No need to worry about SQL, crazy Excel sheets etc. Setting up was fast and easy. More remarkably, interns in my office got a hang of it in a short time

Nachteile:

To be honest, there is nothing I found to be bad about this software. When I find, I'll be happy to share with the team at Eclipse

Power to the law firm people; take it back from the expensive hosting solutions

5,0 vor 8 Jahren

Kommentare: When firms are billing clients hundreds of thousands for expensive cloud-based consulting and hosting, along comes flat-file Eclipse SE to show lawyers how superb and much better an inexpensive in-house solution can be. Yet it also comes with upgrade potential to cloud-based SQL Eclipse if you need that later or in parallel for the gigantic matter. Few matters are so enormous that they can't be handled in Eclipse SE. This is soup to nuts: from native .pdf collections or acquired load files to document reviews and tagging; to processing in the background while you do other work; to review; to on-the-spot dep prep and printouts for exhibits; to retrieving trial exhibits; to generating load files and publishing .tif images. You get electronic documents from your client and within as few as a couple of hours you can serve your bates-stamped document production fully featured with load files in all of the formats. A very fine degree of control over what you want to OCR; where you want to store; how you and your team reviews and tags; and what you want to produce. An optional "publish" module allows you to publish part of the database as a run-time to your experts, clients whatever. And recently, another optional module to process duplicates (while this duplicate processing is currently more expensive, it still is a much better deal than the licensing-hosting). Belongs on every user's desktop, and is priced accordingly. The only negative is that except for published databases, you need data on a central server for access by multiple persons and an inexpensive remote access program to access the platformed program from outside of the office.

Vorteile:

Extraordinarily powerful, soup to nuts. IPRO has everything covered. Fast and accurate. Concurrent licensing and inexpensive. Fantastic documentation and very solid and responsive customer support included with the licensing.

Nachteile:

The duplication processing software is a separate module and its licensing is currently over three times the basic license. Also, with the power comes a bit of complexity but it is extraordinarily well documented so you can look up your issues.

Automated Raw to Review

5,0 vor 5 Jahren

Kommentare: Overall, we are very pleased with the product, and its the scalability. Support is responsive and available 24/7 for emergencies only. We are very anxious to see some type of automated mass redaction solution within Ipro, in the likes of MILYLI Blackout for Relativity.

Vorteile:

Before Ipro for Enterprise, admins needed to ingest raw data, index, run search terms, process the hits, and load to review platform. It was a lot of human intervention to babysit and move the data through each step. With Ipro, all the data gets processed and everything that gets successfully processed are imported to the review platform without any human intervention. This has helped us saved us 100's of hours and move raw data to review.

Nachteile:

1) Eclipse only runs on Internet Explorer and user interface was very much cluttered and non-intuitive (based on feedback from the field). 2) Not much visualization options to be able to analyze data visually and interactively.
