We have been very satisfied with LOGOS and have been using it for years.
Kommentare: It has been a great accounting package. Love it!
Vorteile:
The program is very stable and easy to use. Works well for fund accounting. Very customizable. The version we are using is still resident on our server and not in "the cloud" which is what I want. If Internet goes down we are still able to work. We do use their Global Backup to store backups offsite.
Nachteile:
Not really a con, but would love it if we could store reports in the format we want as a group so end of month we could just pick a group to run and print rather than having to pick each one.

I liked that I could find the information I needed quickly and did not have to mess with too many steps.
Nachteile:
I don't recall having any trouble. The only thing would be that I did not have many features to work with because the program was dated for our office.
This is an antique accounting system that will disappear at the end of 2018

Vorteile:
Integrateded with LOGOS II CMS. Reporting is inflexible. EXCEL exports are poorly formated and hard to use.
Nachteile:
LOGOS has just announced that they will cease to support this antiquated system at the end of this year. They are providing no support for transferring historical accounting data to any new system, and will not provide access to their server-based online system after 12/31/18, which means you will have no way to do your year-end close or W-2's or 1099's

Kommentare: If you are searching for a simplified method to manage your church administration look no further. I personally believe for churches 50 - 10,000 this is the best versatile product for the price and support you will receive. Vorteile:
1. Quickly able to learn and use. 2. Amazing implementation team. 3. Great support willing to listen and help. 4. Product development is a priority with Logos. Exciting to see the new products coming soon. 5. A great program to track Mother's Day Out or Childcare Fees. 6. Online giving and online payment for childcare has been a plus.
Nachteile:
I would personally not use any other programs at this time except for Logos.
Meets All of our Church's Needs
Kommentare: Highly recommend this software package for church use.
Vorteile:
Our church is not large, but this accounting package is robust and meets all of our needs. We have only scratched the surface of the software's functionality, and I will be spending more time in 2012 trying to take advantage of more features.
Nachteile:
Not anything major. It would be nice to be able to toggle between Logos Fund Accounting and Logos II within one login. My job includes posting contributions, so I use both pieces of software.
