I am particularly impressed with the auto-fill options; they significantly streamline my documentation process and save me a substantial amount of time on daily charting. > > **Nachteile**: What I like least is the lack of data continuity between forms; information like the Family section should auto-populate from the Assessment into SOAP notes to reduce redundancy. Until our transition to EHR, we relied entirely on paper files for the individuals we serve. EHR spent hours and hours with me as they built our program from the ground up in EHR. EHR listened carefully to my concerns and specifications and we could not be happier with the results. EHR is very user friendly for our guardianship staff and they are much more efficient in documentation and the provision of services. EHR created excellent reports for me to utilize that have saved me hours of time spent in data collection. When we have had glitches with EHR, they have responded quickly and fixed the issues almost immediately. Direct quote, “since the pandemic our team of software engineers has grown to over 90”. This was instrumental to our decision to contract. > > **Nachteile**: What was not conveyed during the sales presentations was that their team of 90+ “software engineers” were independently contracted, foreign outsourced labor - credentials of which are unverifiable. We have since been notified that there are only two employees within the company, both conducting the sales presentations. > > One of the worst examples of over-promise and under-deliver that we have seen in our 3 decades of owning and operating businesses. Though no way of knowing for sure, we believe their business strategy is to intentionally overcharge for creating non-refundable forms during the implementation phase while clients are unaware (our invoice was nearly $5,000 before we discontinued their ability of ACH withdrawals from our account). After realizing what was going on, we advised that we would not be using their EHR services and requested a full refund. I appreciate the organization of the inbox, and the multiple uses for EHR alerts and reminders. Completing paperwork in EHR is easy and simple, as well as uploading documents to a client's chart. I have never had clients' complain about using the patient portal, and find it a easy way for getting releases signed and submitted. I appreciate the option to fax from within the product, making it easy to use and saves time as a provider. > > **Nachteile**: I do wish there was an option to have multiple documents open, or to view two documents side by side. Occasionally, there is information in another document that I need to access for a new document, and I wish there was a way to streamline that process. There are also a lot of drop down menus that are redundant or unnecessary, which can make navigating a little difficult if you are new to the system. However, this does not overall impact your ability to use the system. > > Overall, my experience with EHR is positive. There was somewhat of a learning curve, trying to learn where everything was and understanding the different drop down menus. However, once you are familiar with the system and having a few clients under your belt, the system is easy to use and familiar enough to remember what is important and what isn't.
