Features and functionality are very useful.
Kommentare: The broad range of things this software can do to organize accounting data is its biggest benefit.
Vorteile: The features and functionality is what I like most about this software. It is very helpful when trying export data to manage in excel.
Nachteile: It is not a software that can just be picked up easily, it takes time to get yourself familiarized with it.

Kommentare: I felt that the hype did not equal the results. We have started with Sage in 2013. We just migrated to the newest version. We have yet to just work in Sage without technical support or our third party having to make constant adjustments.
Vorteile: There are so many aspects to this software that I love. It typically works well with our EDI software, however we continuously find areas that are broken. We have the ability to customize specific functionalities due to the ERP not fitting our needs exactly.
Nachteile: My company went through a re-seller originally. Then we worked with Sage directly. It was a pain to request support. Also their HELP index doesnt always help. It will tell you what a possible error means but gives no direction to where to find this error or how to fix it. This means going back to support. We now work with a third party who assists us with the newer version of Sage. Sadly my confidence in their knowledge to fix tables and understand our business needs is lacking. I feel Sage is super complex and doesn't offer quick yet necessary training. I have attempted to use their HELP link and it does not provide help. It will go just beyond telling you what you already know. One other thing I do not care for is how far you have to tunnel to find data. Finding information like inventory quantities and arrival dates can take several steps from the order process. As a CRM there isn't always a lot of time to dig around for this information. This data should be readily available from the Item Lines tab.

Sage ERP review
Kommentare: Overall a lot more value for money ERP system for Small/Medium sized businesses who need one platform to do a full-cycle service of the business operational needs. Also Sage business partners are very helpful to keep you abreast with product training and product updates where necessary.
Vorteile: Sage ERP is great for small medium sized businesses whose business demands a platform that can accommodate the growth of the business at various levels. You can start with the basic GL for your accounting entries and add already pre-purpose built features like Purchase Orders, Payroll and Point Of Sale to name a few.
Nachteile: The least thing I do not like is the day-end processing if average cost is used. The costing to determine your wins and losses on the inventory was done at the end of the day if you use average cost. So in having a lot of SKUs like over 10,000 types that can be possibly sold in a day at different units of measure and having a large number of transactions of around 1,000 invoices with over 50,000 detail line items sold can make the day-end run a lot slower than expected.

Just didn't have enough
Kommentare: A really good understanding of what requirements an ERP should have.
Vorteile: The user interface, honestly, wasn't too bad. It had everything in practical spots and was easy to use. The import/export features were really impressive. It really made transferring ERP's very simple. It even had simple cost breakdowns for labor and materials at any step in the build process.
Nachteile: In the medical industry, this ERP really didn't meet most of the requirements we needed. It could not perform directed picking (tell the picker where to pull parts from), directed put-away (where to put received components in inventory), label print capabilities, or barcode scanning (without a third party add-on which charged separate fees),

Excellent product but needs a little tweaking.
Kommentare: Ease of use integrating into our accounting system.
Vorteile: I have been entering payroll into our general ledger for almost 20 years. With sage 100 it couldn't be any easier.
Nachteile: When entering items under Purchase Order>Receipt of Invoice Entry it does not keep track of total amount purchased. This means you have no way of knowing when you reach the set limit amount and if you have already keyed in invoices under that PO # it will not let you increase the amount.
