Bewertungen über PDX Pharmacy System
Our company switched to this system in 2012
Kommentare: Processing goes quicker most of the time. There are so many functions for good record keeping and helping to keep our stores compliant.
Vorteile:
There are a lot of features designed to make processing quicker, learning to use the system is tricky at first, customer support is good.
Nachteile:
The features don't always work the way they are designed to, this makes for frustration on the users part. Constant patches and updates.
Interesting
Vorteile:
It is a major upgrade from the current pdx system that I am using. Pretty user friendly and capable of most things.
Nachteile:
Has some weird quirks that pop up every so often. Also, dont like using fingerprints every time I have to sell something.
This software has a lot of complicated steps to get an easy task done. Customer support is sub-par.
Vorteile:
Graphics are nice and easy to navigate, but, unfortunately, I do not have a lot of good things to say about this software.
Nachteile:
A lot of what should be simple functions are made extremely difficult with this software. For example, if a nursing home needs the directions changed on a medication label, you cannot go in and edit the label after it has been refilled one time. You have to unnecessarily scan in a whole new prescription image to update the label which takes extra time. Each new prescription requires a bar code sticker to be attached as well, which is another annoying step. Reports are difficult to run as well. We needed a simple report for a hospice company to list compound ingredients and pricing. To get that report would have cost several hundred dollars for them to create it. Customer support was typically nice, but could often be rude and take forever to contact you back about an issue.

We apologize for your experience with EPS, but appreciate your feedback. We strive to meet all legal regulations with our application and once a medication has been filled, any changes legally require a new prescription which is why users need to go through each of those steps to make changes. We are always working to improve our system to better help you as the end user. Thank you for the input!
Good pharmacy operation system
Kommentare: Overall, a good pharmacy system with functionality that meets most pharmacy's need.
Vorteile:
It can do most things that you need it to for filling a prescription and running a pharmacy. It also improved workflow from the last system we used. Organization is pretty good and allows you to find most prescriptions easily.
Nachteile:
You have to go through a bunch of screens to get anything done. We call it the system of a thousand clicks. It also organizes things by wait time which is fine but prescriptions get lost if we get behind.
Outdated
Vorteile:
Since I've been sitting here for 5 minutes trying to think of something positive to write and nothing has came to mind..I guess that answers it ....NOTHING!
Nachteile:
This PDX system is so outdated. I can't believe someone actually thought that it would be good. All the functions are difficult not that they're hard to understand but you have to use 4 different screens just to do 1 task. If you're in the middle of typing the system doesn't let you check "Will Call." Yes you can have a secondary screen but not all the tasks are available. I could go on and on. My best advice is if you sit in a corporate office and do not work in the pharmacy every day don't take it upon yourself to pick the system.
