Prop Rental Shop Happy with Kibiz Systems
Kommentare: Kibiz set us up with a super efficient database. A little handholding was necessary at first as my co-worker and I aren't exactly proficient in this area. The Kibiz team was happy to help out I'm sure that the system could be fine tuned to the requirements of any rental company big or small. Prompt and knowledgeable tech support made our transition a very agreeable experience.
Vorteile: We are a prop rental shop catering to the photo community in Toronto. Up until acquiring Kibiz we were at a loss on how to process our rentals fast and efficiently. On the top of our list was a barcode set up that would scan items out while creating an invoice that linked to our POS and then scan items back into inventory without refunding the rental cost incurred. For a rental business that has over 7000 individual items this is a huge time saving requirement. Also with Kibiz we have the advantage of a database that includes detailed item fields such as original cost, replacement cost, photo of every item that can be attached to quotes/invoices as well as analytics that reflect how well an item is renting or not. Tech support is reliable and helpful and they would often check in to see how we were doing.
Nachteile: Cost breakdown was somewhat confusing but all was clarified after a brief conversation.

KiBiz 'Quote to Cash'
Kommentare: Most of the problems we have experienced for our organization stem from our modifications that we required to fit our model, forcing us to go through a few tweaks before getting it right. This adds cost. On the flip side, the staff with KiBiz will work with you any way possible to help you achieve what you are looking for; providing you with a product to fit your needs at still a lower overall cost than purchasing other major ERP software that can be extremely costly.
Vorteile: Very easy to navigate and the ability to make our own modifications when minor. However, this will take some knowledge of the product.
Nachteile: For our company, we required many modifications to make it work to our benefit. Most modifications are minor but we did have a few costly changes, but still within reason for what the product will end up saving you over time.

Vorteile: KiBiz System was able to customize our program for our distribution of bakery products, using file maker. Some key features that the program allowed us to do was creating standard customer orders with the ability to make daily overriding changes including printing, emailing and E-faxing customers invoice by routes. Kibiz program contains features that allows us to apply payments and make customer weekly statements. Kibiz has been able to customize the program to meet our needs and has a great customer support team.
Nachteile: none the program has been working great for us.

Honest Review on KiBiz
Kommentare: Frustrating!!! Time Consuming, Inflexible, no good report unless you are paying lot of extra fees.
Vorteile: So far, not impressed by this software. ( I started using KiBiz since Aug, 2017)
Nachteile: It's going to be a long list : 1) KiBiz gave you tons of unnecessary step that you have to go through in order to process your SO, PO, AP,...etc. and it will cost you LOTS of Money to get them removed. 2) Reporting: Unfriendly to use 3) Balance Sheet : So far, my accounting balance sheet still not able to be balanced. Don't know how the Account Specialist transferred my file from QB. My account was balance at QB. 4) So many unnecessary confirmation message that you have to go through for your tasks, you will end up spending a lot more time using this so called "efficient" software. 5) Wrong Calculation : sometimes, I put the Sales / PO quantity in the file, it does not calculate. I had one sales transaction that I put item number, but the selling price did not show up. Therefore, I lost money on that sales. 6) Sending the wrong PO or SO to customer or vendor: KibiZ constantly sending out the wrong PO and SO to our vendors and customers, this has been a recurring issue. This a serious problem that exposes our internal business/cost structure to our customers and vendors. Very Frustrating. 7) Customization Nightmare: Our business requires to receive in multiple orders' partial shipment at once and this is another main reason that we switch to KiBiz. But after the customization, it is just another nightmare that we have to deal with. The above list are just few of RECURRING issues that we have to face on a regular basis.

Kommentare: Ki Biz is a great data management source for my company.
Vorteile: KiBiz does most everything I need it to do to run my company. It is efficient and somewhat flexible. It is easy to locate files for information.
I originally purchased it for more than one computer . We never did get it to work on the second computer.
I thought it would have been a check book program as well but the program kept crashing and I eventually gave up and went to QB for the accounting program. Some of the data cannot be entered at a later time. (ex. Customer PO#s ).
