Kommentare: I feel that it brings an e-commerce sites choice metrics into biteable or relevant chunks through visual stimulation. Contester keeps this simple to instigate and logical in its step by step approach.
Vorteile:
Ease of use and the back end console. It allows agencies and even the brands themselves to manage the campaigns easily with an hour of training. As it overlays onto websites through a single line of code, all visuals and videos are not embedded within the webpages themselves so speed is never compromised. Also the fact that up to 10 campaigns can be activated simultaneously so that returning customers can be shown the same choices or each target group or social media campaign can be shown a unique one without change the customer webpage itself. The recent influencer add-on has only helped with the ability for social media influencers to also appear on corporate webpages so their audiences can continue a omni-channel journey or unlock e-commerce specials not seen by those outside their community.
Nachteile:
The non-ability to manually removed or delete campaigns if mistakes are made. They remain archived for some time before they are auto-deleted (6 months). The archived campaigns can be overwritten and used again but this effects the metrics of the campaign.
Unique tool with multiple purposes
Kommentare: Our goal was to generate personalized landing page experience for client who had 100+ different campaigns leading to main page based on geotargeting. Each visit then prompted unique experience for the user, depending on the UTM-tracker he clicked on, focusing on introducing the clients messages. Overall client was very happy with experience and results (massively reduced bounce rate and increased time spent on content).
Vorteile:
Its flexibility and multifunctionality. There are so many use-cases, which ultimately makes it great tool for variety of different types of businesses. As agency, we always search for new tools to improve clients performance and Contester has been one of them.
Nachteile:
There is really nothing to not like, but being a new concept and product on market, it takes more time than usual to convince clients in giving it a go. Also with so many creative options, it takes strategical thinking in what use-case would be most beneficial for the clients.
