Nachteile:

Die Handyapp hat ein neues Design bekommen, was ich persönlich grauenvoll finde. Aber das ist ja die Meinung des Anwenders.

Vorteile:

Die cleane Oberfläche, als Instant Messenger ist Discord wesentlich übersichtlicher als Microsoft Teams.

Nachteile:

Es gibt nichts, weswegen ich mich beschweren könnte. Alleine schon als Freies Produkt ist Discord sehr vielfältig anwendbar

Die Darstellung dürfte moderner sein und mehr Design Elemente zulassen,

Kommentare: Funktionsstarke App für Gruppen und Communities, und das ohne Kosten.

Vorteile:

Discord kommt aus der Gaming-Szene, ich halte diese Lösung aber hervorragend für viele andere Bereiche geeignet - immer wenn es etwas komplexer wird als mit 1-2 Whatsapp-Gruppen abzubilden ist, kann Discord in Betracht gezogen werden. Es gibt viele Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten für den Aufbau eigener "Server". Man kann unterschiedliche Kanäle erstellen und diese nach Bereichen organisieren. Discord funktioniert im Browser und als App.

Nachteile:

Es gibt nichts zu meckern, und vieles hängt von der Gestaltung ab. Allerdings sollte klar sein, dass ein Administrator sich viel besser mit den Möglichkeiten auskennen muss als ein "gewöhnlicher" User. Auch wenn alles noch im "No Code" Bereich ist.

Nachteile:

Beginners can face some issues while using Discord, like a little complex Setup for Beginners. In Public Servers, privacy is a big concern. Sometimes Frequent Updates Disrupt Workflow Overall, it's a very good platform.

Terrible Screening & Terrible Customer Service

Kommentare: It is clunky at best for adding images to posts and joining audio or video sessions. I'm multiple groups and each group only has a small icon to ID it, so finding each group is difficult. So this latest experience really topped the cake. I am contemplating not using it anymore. And tomorrow I receive a new (used, but to me) PC I purchased mainly to be my dedicated Discord PC.

Nachteile:

I have used Discord for about 5 years. A problem I have faced is scammers direct messaging me. Discord doesn't seem to be able to do anything about that. Last week I received an invitation to join a Discord forum by a vendor from whom I have purchased several hundred $-worth of product. I tried several times to join that forum on 2 different PCs. Because their service was lousy, they added insult to injury by suspending my account. I appealed 4 days ago -- crickets.

A game-oriented chat system which can be used for professionals too.

Nachteile:

I know it's a game-oriented chat but I'd love to see it emphasise features towards professionals. Like integration with github etc.

Audio experience when sharing application audio is poor - frequent cracking and popping and needing to restart video streams. Poor integration with third party audio cards.

Kommentare: Discord have more really good features and you can improve it by get a nitro that mean you need to purchase their plans . but you can enjoy in free system also. As i thin k system need to have more secure measurements and need some features to report it. I'm really like is the system have some of offline features also for view old messages. mostly discord is really good and we can use easy to an one who like to play games and wanna talk with large community with proper manner .

This is free and really easy to use and simple. This system is fully made for the gamers in beginning. And now its really Improve with lot, If you want you can share screen with anyone while you doing your playing or works and as i know this is the first app that it starts as first. and in here we can do low of things like group talking and watching films also as a group, more than other everything i recommend this for most group activity . We can make make community and in that we can divide lot of subcategory this is mostly i like in there. other thing is Customization and Control this is really good feature, we give permission and roles and we can have fully control.

Nachteile:

Mainly i have a issue with the notification sounds, when we are in group chat with lot in active server overcome volume of notification. when we consider about the this need lot of performance and it affect to some old less powerful devices mostly it happen to me also once. and i think in here we need more privacy concerns because in here its not secure at all with harassment and i think this system need more security features . This required more good and stable internet connection it will be a issue with someone who stay a place with low connectivity .

Kommentare: Overall it's a great messaging application even if it is very poorly optimized it has lots of strong points.

Vorteile:

The instant chat is really what won me over because instead of sending emails which will take long minutes to arrive, it will arrive all at once then the file sharing is just incredible if you are ready to pay the nitro subscription.

Nachteile:

What I don't like is really screen sharing which is way too bug with traditional work computers and also on the phone it's really bug too much.

Kommentare: First of all, it helped me find my partner that I now cooperate with to create games. Since it has servers, it allows us to create communities without using other apps, which is great.

Vorteile:

Discord is mostly free, the main features are always unlocked and only upgrades to those features/gimmicks are sold with the Discord Nitro. It is really quick and loads relatively fast even on slower internet connections. I love the way servers can be organised and how they look overall, instead of them just being a group chat, they have a lot of voice and normal channels and can categorize them with ease.The biggest difference between the competitors is the fact you can have bots in your servers. They can range from security to party games. They are a great addition for every server and EVERYONE can make one! You just need to know how to code, no special verification or fees required.

Nachteile:

A lot of the newest features are locked behind Nitro. For example, themes. Before the update the only way to customize your app was to use betterdiscord or similar, which was prohibited by the ToS. Now, they have added this feature but it's only available to Discord Nitro users. They have 2 tiers of Discord Nitro. One has a lot less features but also costs less and the normal Nitro has all of the features but also costs more. With the themes you will need to buy the more expensive one.

Great Communication Tool with Amazing Features

Vorteile:

Discord is one of the biggest communications platforms with plenty of features for a lot of your needs. It has direct messaging, group messaging, live streaming, voice and video calls, and different communities. Before, it was mostly to attract gamers with amazing live voice communication, but its features are useful for almost any community of any kind. Setting up a server and inviting people over is pretty easy, and setting up proper roles and permission is pretty easy as well. The paid nitro subscription is also very worth it because of the higher quality streams, larger file uploads, animated banner and profile, and many other features.

Nachteile:

One of the main issues I've faced when using discord is that the voice channels are not responding properly when joining a voice channel. It happens once almost every 2 weeks but can be fixed with some restarts or disconnecting and reconnecting, which can be an annoying process. Properly managing moderations in large servers can also be quite difficult to understand, and you have to mess around with the roles and permissions quite a bit before understanding what is going on. As it is easy to anonymous on the application, there is also always potential for toxicity, getting distracted with messages, and other privacy issues.

Useful platform to unite users, communities and develop tasks together

Initially, it was my daily tool to get started as a programmer with a study community, it facilitates interaction between users with high-quality video calls and transmissions. Currently working, it is still useful to develop tasks together with other colleagues.

Nachteile:

Delivering messages, making calls or something else can sometimes take a while.

The best application for communication while playing as a team

The ease and speed of being able to start communicating by voice with friends or other people, to play as a team, which helps a lot in the game.

Nachteile:

At the beginning of using the application it is not easy to get used to it, but once you get used to it it is easy to use.
