I like that they have a small free email account, which you can use to test. I did this for a while until I felt confident I could use them. The best part about Tutanota is their price. The search limitation is partially due to how encryption works, so to some extent, I understand why they want to provide a search feature without constantly scanning through all your emails. But then again, Prontonmail figured a way to do it, so I don't see what is missing. While I still have a Tutanota account, I rarely use it simply because I am much happier with other services. Tuta also has applications for all devices and can be used via a browser. All of them are slow to use. Tutanota has been a hard one to even want to test because of the unappealing user interface. I cannot pin down exactly what i don’t like; it is probably the background color but also not very intuitive overall UI. It could zero down to personal preference. Much of my use for emails is for feedback sensitive feedback communications where I mostly use contact forms. This is where Tutanota mail supersedes the others. It offers secure encrypted contact forms which have boosted confidence with my contacts. On the forms page, I have been able to easily adapt the forms to notify users that the forms are encrypted. Of most importance is that users are able to put a password in the form and choose to remain anonymous. > > **Nachteile**: So far my personal problem with Tutanota is UI/X.
