I never did receive fund and was stranded on the highway with it looking like we were going to miss Christmas with our family. My funds were held up without clear explanation, timelines kept changing, and getting accurate information from support was not forthcoming even when they transferred me to a Manager. This created unnecessary stress, especially since money transfers are time sensitive and require trust. While Remitly markets speed and reliability, my experience did not reflect that at all. After 6 days I finally gave up and am now using Wise. Transparency was lacking with Remitly, and the resolution process felt slow and impersonal.
