Vorteile:

Ich mag, dass die Seite selbsterklärend ist, sowohl für Lehrer als auch für Studenten. Automatische Bewertung erspart mir viel Zeit. Ich muss die Ergebnisse nach dem Test nicht selber zusammenfassen oder in eine Tabelle eintragen. Das alles übernimmt Exam.net für mich. Die Seite wird ständig an die Bedürfnisse der Nutzer angepasst und verändert.

Nachteile:

Ich würde mit wünschen, mehr Optionen beim Lehrerkommentar zu haben, damit ich gewisse Wörter hervorheben kann (zum Beispiel durch Fett-Markierung).

Need Security when giving Online exams?

Kommentare: Overall, Exam.net was definitely a life-saver during the pandemic. Even now, that we are back to normal, the features of this platform provide test security in an online setting.

Vorteile:

Browser lock down and TTS are the two most features that definitely helps. The translate is also a huge help to my Emergent Bilingual Learners. Easy to navigate when creating your exams, you can enter/type your questions for auto-grading or just upload a pdf if you are in a bind time-wise.

Nachteile:

The one feature that I would like to see is to enable a scheduled time to close-out the exam. When creating an exam, it would be helpful if we can copy a question and just change the prompt on the copy but keep the answer choices the same.

Very useful software for assessment

Kommentare: In the teaching of a foreign language I’ve solved the problems linked to the listening activities because the students have the audio available and they can listen the track as many times they wish.

Vorteile:

I’m an English teacher and the most useful features for me are: the possibility to add audio tracks, the possibility to add the options such as help for translation, synonyms, spelling check, text to speech and also the possibility to add accessibility tools such as mind maps, schemes for students with special needs.

Nachteile:

It is not possible to use an Apple Pencil to write in the text

Kommentare: Overall I am very happy with exam.net, there are some features that I would like changed/developed but I have been using it a lot these past two years.

Vorteile:

Very secure when doing the national tests in Sweden (Nationella proven), not that difficult to create tests, add documents and overall user friendly.

Nachteile:

I would like more options when it comes to quizes, for example no keys when students shut them down and wants to open them again. An easier way of over-viewing the questions, in the case you want to add a question it doesn't end up added at the bottom and you have to bit by bit pull it up.

Exam.net strongly recommended

Kommentare: Exam.net is the only way we can have more control over testing situations to insure our students don’t cheat. While not 100% percent foolproof it’s the best tool we have.

Vorteile:

Easy to use and make your own exams. You can add pdfs and audio files. You can monitor student answers. There is a chat function that works for the whole group or to send to individual students. You can make tests that autocorrect. You can even send off written essays to Ouriginal to check for plagiarism. If the internet goes out in the middle of a test, they can continue writing. Everything is still saved.

Nachteile:

Some students can still find away around the security measures to access the internet. I wish there was a function that allows the students to insert footnotes. I wish there was a way connect the exams to Teams making it easier to give feedback and share the exams with students.

Exam.net for Access Arraignments

Kommentare: Access Arrangements in GCSE and GCE school exams

Vorteile:

Good package that is able to support Access Arrangements in school. Students are able to use for word processing and computer reader. Staff are getting to grips with its functionality without too many problems.

Nachteile:

More voices on the computer reader.option to split the screen horizontally rather than vertically.

Nachteile:

It should be a way to import and export your tests so that you can easily duplicate your tests and. It is annoying to search through the archive. If one instead could export and import from Excel things would be easier.

Kommentare: Very good but can be further developed.

Vorteile:

The overall user interface. Different possibilities to ask questions.

Nachteile:

Lacking adaptation possibilities. Import of other dokument. Possibilities of paste website links into pupils answer. Combining dirrent answer possibilities. Select input from a drop down list instead of free text.

How to test your progress saving time!

Kommentare: Finally, the exam.net platform is an excellent tool that have helped us to make the leap and become competitive in online educational services.

Vorteile:

What I like most about the exam.net is the chance to save time assessing the student´s progress using self -marking . On the other hand, it is very useful the option of monitoring your students while doing the test so that you may provide some assistance or provide some feedback in real time.

Nachteile:

Well, one of the drawbacks of the exam.net platform is that you can´t programme the duration of a test if it is taken independently.

Continuous Improvement

Kommentare: it helps me much in designing the exams for learning activities like for colourful diagrams in questions and monitoring the students in the exams and including the recap of the analysis of the questions

Need a stable internet connection and is a little bit complicated for writing formulas in physics and Maths for students because they are using keyboards

Vorteile:

The face that students don't need log in accounts. Also the fact that the look down mode needs SEB to work. That forced us to get SEB which we need anyway in the future to run DNP (Digitala nationella prov).

That an administrator dont get direct access to all exams created in our school...

It's very easy to use in an education setting, both for me as an educator and for the students. I'm feel safe that the lockdown is secure. The company is also very responsive. My school has a number of times gotten a swift response to our questions.

Kommentare: Very happy to came accross Exam.net during Corona, and because our online courses still exist, very happy to be still using Exam.net

Exam.net is easy to use, for me, our teachers an students!

Nachteile:

We use a word exam at the moment, because of the answer area our students can use. For me copying and pasting a new exam in to the system, is time consuming, because the layout is constantly changing. I sometimes have to write it myself. It would be nice if, when you use the pdf upload, also have the answer are the same as the exam so students can fill in the blanks...

Exam.net is incredible!

Vorteile:

I love how you can set Math papers with ease by using the equation functions, and that the learners can write answers using an equation function. Another thing that is great is that student can scan and upload written answers to the exam that makes it easy for marking.

Nachteile:

I would love to be able to release scores to students that only include the overall mark and not what they received for every question. This way I can share scores with learners even if there are others that still need to complete the test.

Vorteile:

Easy to work in. I like that the students only need a code to login.

Nachteile:

That it's not possible to make comments on specific things they write. That could be helpful in scenarios where it's not meant to be an exam. Sometimes the verbal reading (automatic) doesn't work that well.

Vorteile:

Reasonable functions, good for assessment and good to have locked-features for testing,

Only PDF's are accepted as documents and not Word files.

Just Fab!

Vorteile:

The fact that I can get students to write in a closed environment and actually see that they are writing in real time as well as that they are able to chat with me during the exam.

Nachteile:

I haven't been using exam.net for long so I'm not familliar with all the features. It took a while to understand some parts, e.g. how to use the high security mode, how to give "talsyntes" and spelling check to students with dyslexia. I think it's a minus that you can't preprogram that and that you have to do it during the exam (if there are many of them in a class, that takes a while).

Kommentare: Very good experience so far, only 4% students had technical issues.

Nachteile:

Cannot upload certain types of audio files. Issues around students being locked out, impossible to allow them in. Technical issues when using Apple Mac devices.

I really liked how intuitive it is to use and how it really can save a lot of time for teachers. It's very straightforward and can be used for pretty much all forms of testing.

Nachteile:

It needs to develop in terms of its offering for automatically marked exam questions more variety and more forms of questions would be very helpful. Matching the answers could be improved in functionality and more drag and drop puzzles would also be helpful.

I like how easy it is to create exams and correct them. I also like and always use the programming extension for my programming courses.

Nachteile:

There is nothing I don't like, yet there are some features that I would like to be added:1. Allowing test takers to attach documents and screenshots to their exams. This is apart from the feature that allows them to attach pictures with their cell phones.2. Adding more programming languages (e.g. Sctrach, Java)3. Adding an HTML extension
