Kommentare: Great program for editorial editing, it has all the necessary tools to create books and magazines, as it is very easy to accommodate text and images with good designs, besides having the ability to customize the entire project, you can edit fonts and shapes easily.

Vorteile:

What I like most about using this software, is to be able to use the grids and customizable guides that the program offers, which speeds up the creation of pages, in addition to having templates that you can use which are very convenient if you need inspiration to get started, I think it is a very complete software.

Nachteile:

You need to have skills and knowledge to start using it, so it can be somewhat complicated for new users, or users who are not familiar with design programs, which in addition to its cost limits its use for the general public.

I use InDesign on a daily basis

Kommentare: I use InDesign almost every single day of the week. Have been very happy with all of it and InDesign help is very good at helping me to solve and learn new avenues of creating.

Vorteile:

I love Adobe InDesign and honestly don't know where I would be without it. I love being able to seamlessly import and export with other Adobe products and also being able to create just what I need

Nachteile:

Nothing to report on this. Love InDesign.

Adobe Indesign a very good software

Vorteile:

A very nice software that make desing easer and really time efficient. The software is updated very often and offer cool features, and AI intergated.

Nachteile:

Can't think of something. Very good software.

The standard for layout designing and publishing

Kommentare: I love InDesign, I've been using it almost all my life. But it as time goes by it is becoming more and more outdated. Although there are new softwares more capable in many areas I'm not switching because InDesign it's the standard

Vorteile:

It is the most complete software for publishing and layout designing. Once you are used to it, it is capable almost of everything. There are many feature to automate repetitive task which are super convenient.

Nachteile:

It is becoming outdated. I find annoying the fact that you cannot open a document generated with a newer version of InDesign. Launching it is super slow even though it is not a demanding resources program. There are not many tools for digital publish layouts, and the ones that it has are outdated.

Create Design Layouts Exactly as You Envision

Kommentare: Adobe InDesign is a versatile tool for graphic design layouts. It has more features available than other software, which allows for designers to quickly achieve exactly what they want.

Vorteile:

Adobe InDesign is the most versatile program for graphic design layout projects. It is my go-to software for layout of magazines, catalogs, brochures, etc. It easily integrates with other Adobe software (such as Illustrator and Photoshop), as it is simple to place graphics created in other programs into the layout in InDesign. InDesign is very intuitive when it comes to formatting text. It allows for flexibility to manipulate the layout to exactly what you envision.

Nachteile:

It is a bit on the expensive side, and only available as a subscription.

My indispensable layout king

Kommentare: the overall experience is better, Indesign is a software that has been able to adapt to my desires, today I can create an ebook layout in a few clicks, so if I can't let my imagination grow, that's the limit of indesign.

The Holy Grail of publishing

Vorteile:

Indesign is a part of Adobe Suite so it can integrate with other Adobe programs. I mostly use it in conjunction with Photoshop and Lightroom. Indesign also feature many customizable layouts to create beautifully curated print designs.

Nachteile:

Large files can become an issue if you don't have a computer with sufficient storage space. Also, because of the large files, exporting can be very time consuming. External storage may be necessary.

Designed to Perfection

Kommentare: InDesign is a key part of my workflow. It is easy for newcomers to pick up and learn and helps our team create polished and professional designs fast.

Vorteile:

InDesign is probably the best document layout software on the market. It has tools to make grid-based or freeform layouts for everything from fliers to booklets. It is easy to drag and drop elements to build new and exciting designs.

Nachteile:

I have very few complaints about InDesign. The process of adding, sizing, and displaying images is a bit antiquated, but otherwise the product is very polished.

An easy to pick up design tool!

Vorteile:

As someone who works with Adobe products every day, I think that InDesign is the most user friendly for people just getting into graphic design work. I think it is easy to use the text features, as well as to layout photos, add details like strokes, colorizing, transparencies, and fades.

Nachteile:

I find the pen tool weirdly hard to use and that typing on a path can be finicky.

Great for Printing but not for design.

Kommentare: It's pricey but works pretty well once you figure it out. It takes a while to figure it out though.

It's great for creating publications that need to be printed.

The learning curve is rouge and it's not very user-friendly.

Still Worth Every Penny

Kommentare: I am more than happy with Adobe InDesign. I love that Adobe is constantly innovating, which makes me feel content with the subscription model. For a few years I had been more comfortable with the idea of purchasing actual software (back when it came in a physical box!), but the hassle of having to buy new software every couple of years got old. In this technology age, we as professional designers have to stay on top of innovations, and Adobe keeps the tools updated so I can in turn innovate in my creative field.

Vorteile:

I have been using InDesign on a daily basis ever since Adobe donated software to my student-run college newspaper in 1999. That donation opened the door to exploring a world of print layout that I never knew existed, and eventually led to a career in graphic design. InDesign is the main tool in my tool belt, and without it I would have a different occupation altogether. Some people like to complain about the price point, but when you consider a) the value it provides creatives as a tool b) the innovation required by Adobe over decades to produce and constantly refine the software, and c) the lack of a comparatively robust or functional alternative for the design professional, it's a wonder that it's as cheap as it is.

Nachteile:

I wish InDesign had a chart-making tool. Illustrator has one, but it is in dire need of updating.

Adobe InDesign in the Professional Services world

Vorteile:

I've been using Adobe Id for the last 10-15 years, focused on building books, reference manuals, and templated posters for our clients. What I like most about Id is the master pages, you can easily keep your pages consistent with margins, logos, text, and background colors. I am just now getting into the Interactive elements which look pretty cool and I can see some applications of how we might use it at our work.

Nachteile:

You know, Id is a pretty robust tool for publishing printed and interactive web content. I would only say the links panel can get a little convoluted when you move folders and content around. Besides that I would highly recommend it.

Solid tool for your graphic design needs

It is an awesome product for graphic design. Mainly used it for print designs, but good - if you like it that way - for websites and other web designs also.

Nachteile:

It can be bit difficult at first, like all the tools that has this much features packed in it. Once you start using it, it is is quite easy.

No designer could be without this product! It has all the tools and options needed to create a wide variety of marketing materials as well as graphic design assets.

Nachteile:

It can be hard to use and take a while to learn to become quick, for example using shortcuts.

Extremely Helpful

Vorteile:

Adobe InDesign gets the job done everytime. You do need a small amount of computer skills to use this program, but it provides an excellent product.

Nachteile:

There are a ton of extra tools and objects and some of they're functions can be unclear.

Love using indesign

Vorteile:

Indesign is incredibly versatile piece of software, from creating social media graphics to designing for print it makes it easy to do and really helps with our consistency of brand output.

Nachteile:

Nothing major that causes us any issues, it is by far the best adobe software to use

Expensive but powerful software for designing portfolios

Vorteile:

Powerful software that takes a lot of the busywork out of publication by doing it automatically for you. Keeps swatches nicely organised so you can keep a coherent design throughout.

Nachteile:

There are quirks to it that work completely differently to other adobe products. They should be more transferrable than they currently are. For instance, resizing images should work the same across the adobe suite but it works completely differently in indesign.

Best Image editing software and very professional

It has wonderful Image editing feature with lot of tools which helps to edit image very professionally and also collaboration tools help to work in team and make the work faster and easy.

Nachteile:

All the features are amazing and professional, I have not found any feature which is not in much use, overall its amazing.

The power of publication design of indesign

Vorteile:

Having worked as a graphic artist and instructional designer for over 5 years, I must commend Adobe InDesign for its ability to provide clear objectives for each tool and function, making it an enjoyable platform to use.

Nachteile:

The process of utilizing it and acquiring knowledge about the new features being included is simple.

Fantastic design product

Kommentare: Love it! Be determined to learn it and things getting faster and easier to use, the quality of outputs within our workplace has significantly improved since using InDesign. The way the Adobe apps interact with each other is powerful also, so if you do use Illustrator and Photoshop you will love the compatibility when used together.

Vorteile:

Even though it took a while to learn it's features, the effort paid off as now I wouldn't be without it. The features and quality of the outputs far exceed many online tools.

Nachteile:

Switching from Word to InDesign to create covers, reports and programmes etc, was time consuming due to the functionality being completely different - it required dedication to learn the software properly.

Is there alternative?

Vorteile:

It’s the mainstream software and what I use from day to day.

Nachteile:

Too expansive, crash a lot, I wish there were alternatives.

An Industry Standard piece of software that stands well above any 'free' software

Kommentare: I use ID to create publications, company documents for clients, social media images and many documents ready for print.

Vorteile:

As part of the creative suite, it's just the right thing to use for setting, design and publications. There's really nothing to compare it to. Automatic updates are great and keeps the software moving forward
