Kommentare: VCDA has been a great addition to our organization's software stack. It is incredibly easy to utilize as it possesses a very smooth UI/UX design which makes backup schedule, vulnerability assessment, reporting and management a breeze.
Vorteile:
Possession of a smooth, reliable, and feaure-rich backup and disaster recovery solution with support for advanced cloud data security capabilities like authentication, access control and cloud data vulnerability assessment and management. Ease of backup schedule and backup log to enhance and streamline disaster recovery process. Support for incremental backup capabilities is also very useful as it allows us to schedule backup that restore only the data that has been created and changed since we conducted the previous backup.
Nachteile:
I can't remember any solid issues with VCDA since we implemented it to streamline our cloud data security and availability.
VMware cloud director, a robust and reliable tool
Kommentare: In general it was good, I never experienced big issues that compromise our operations, the migration capability might be because the version we were using.

VMware cloud directory is a very stable and robust tool, in my experience using it I never experienced an outage
Nachteile:
In a ocassion I had to migrate a VM from VMware cloud director to GCP, it was not possible due to compatibility issues, so I have to create a new server from scratch, and then setup everything again.

Vorteile:
I was able to test my disaster recovery plans using VMware Cloud Director Availability without impacting my production workloads. This gave me confidence that my disaster recovery plans would work in the event of a real disaster.
Nachteile:
I had to purchase additional storage to accommodate the requirements of VCDA. This increased my disaster recovery costs.
